Time of India5 hours ago

The
College World Series
elimination game between LSU and UCLA has been postponed to Tuesday due to inclement weather in Omaha. Originally scheduled for Monday night, the highly anticipated matchup was delayed after heavy rain and the threat of thunderstorms made playing conditions unsafe.
The winner of the LSU-UCLA clash will face
Arkansas
in another elimination game later Tuesday. Both teams had been preparing intensively for the showdown, which now becomes part of a packed day of CWS action.
The NCAA announced that the LSU-UCLA game will resume at 11am ET on Tuesday, June 17. The delay is not expected to affect the schedule of the remaining College World Series games, with Oregon State set to face Louisville at 2pm ET and Arkansas taking on the loser of the LSU-UCLA matchup at 7 pm ET.
