Love Island's Dami Hope has splashed out on a new house for his mum after shooting to fame on the ITV show, where he reached the final with girlfriend, Indiyah Pollack, in 2022
Love Island star, Dami Hope, has revealed he has treated his mum to a new house after making mega money from his influencer gigs. The 29-year-old has done well for himself since making his debut on the ITV dating show in 2022, where he met girlfriend, Indiyah Pollack.

Taking to Instagram, showing off the results of his work as a full-time influencer, in which he promotes a range of stuff, including designer clothes, concierge services - and Asos - Dami admitted he couldn't believe he was a property owner as he shared a slew of snaps of a fancy pad, which featured a custom painting of himself and his mum on the wall.

Captioning the carousel, in which Dami can be seen grinning in his mum's new kitchen next to a bottle of champagne and a bouquet of flowers, he wrote: "I actually can't believe I'm typing this… I bought a house in the UK. But not just any house—this one's for my mum.

"After years of manifesting, grinding, praying (and dodging the when will you buy a house? chats), this moment right here is different.
"My siblings, you already know—you're part of the furniture now."

Paying tribute to his dad, who sadly died last year, he added: "Dad, I wish you were here to see this. Everything I am is because of you both. This one's for you too."
Continuing, he said of the house, which features a plush glass annexe and sizeable garden: "Growing up in an African household, the pressure is real.

"But now I can officially tell my mum to retire that question because guess what? She's living in the answer. By God's grace, we did it."
Earlier this year, Dami revealed he was flogging things on Vinted, with their listed items ranging from £3 to £300.

Since his time in the villa, the former microbiologist from Ireland has collaborated with various brands on social media, including modelling different outfits in posts over the years. The former islander has also launched his own fashion brand, Snow Bunny.
And amid growing interest in 'pre-loved fashion,' in a post on his Instagram Story, Dami revealed that he has an account on Vinted and showed off what he was selling.
Sharing snaps of some Levis trainers and a Pretty Little Thing mini skirt, he wrote: "Getting rid of some bits on @vinted." He shared his account name @hopecollections365 and said he would also post on another online marketplace, Grailed, adding: "Gonna upload to Grailed later also."

Last year, the reality star revealed his father had sadly died as he shared emotional photos from his funeral, telling fans he's 'learning how to live without him.'
The final photo was of the sun shining through the clouds, as Dami captioned the post: "The healing chapter: learning to live without him."

ITV 's Inspector Morse has been slapped with a 'trigger warning' in a move that has been branded ' woke '. The popular series now features a pre-warning for crime scenes throughout the show, which seems to have caused a stir with people online. The streaming giant also advises there are 'satanic images' in one episode of the drama. It then has a parental lock on the episode, titled Day of the Devil. Inspector Morse first aired from 1987 to 2000, with a total of eight series. Other episodes also feature a warning over crime and violence. The popular series now features a pre-warning for crime scenes throughout the show, which seems to have caused a stir with people online Speaking about the update, Senior MP Sir Alec Shelbrooke slammed: 'This is another example of soft-touch Britain seeping into everything. 'We're just going to be laughed at as a country if things like this continue, because nobody's prepared for the real world where there are no.' Daily Mail has contacted ITV for comment. In the past, it has said about general alerts: 'Programming that contains politically sensitive or distressing themes, content, or language has carried appropriate warnings since our launch.' Just a few weeks ago, Netflix bosses axed an iconic moment from Pride and Prejudice to avoid 'objectifying men'. The unforgettable scene of Mr Darcy - played by Colin Firth - emerging from a lake was all the rage in 1995. But show bosses have confirmed it will not resurface in the forthcoming version of the rom-com. According to reports, many fans will be disappointed as the famous BBC scene is said to have 'got millions of women hot under the collar'. A source told The Sun: 'It is also credited for sparking subsequent moments of male objectification on screen - likes Aidan Turner's famous topless scything scene in Poldark.' It's claimed that Netflix bosses 'don't want a repeat'. The saucy scene soon became one of the most favourite TV scenes, however it didn't actually feature in Jane Austen's original 1813 story. Arguably the most iconic wet shirt ever worn sold at auction for £25,000 - double its estimated sale price.
