Passion for Carl in Coronation Street hotel meeting - but not with Abi

Metro3 days ago
Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) has recently embarked on an affair with his sister-in-law, Abi Webster (Sally Carman), on Coronation Street. But could his head be about to be turned by another of Weatherfield's women?
Since they first met each other by chance in the romantic location of Freshco's car park, Abi and Carl have been fighting an undeniable attraction to each other.
When Abi discovered that the attractive man she'd been flirting with was none other than Kevin (Michael Le Vell)'s half-brother, she was shocked.
She tried hard to fight her feelings, knowing that Kevin would be devastated if she acted on them.
The fact that Kevin was also going through cancer treatment was another factor that made her feel like she could never give in to how she felt about Carl.
Kevin got an inkling that there was something brewing between his wife and his brother. In a desperate attempt to stop Abi leaving him, Kevin pretended he was still having cancer treatment even though he'd had the all-clear. It was finding out this lie that finally sent Abi into Carl's arms.
Since then, they've been meeting up in secret, with Abi still not ready to break Kevin's heart and break up her family for Carl.
To help cover up their affair, in upcoming episodes Carl is flirting with Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) – who has previously made no secret of the fact she fancies him. He lets slip that he's staying in room 101 at the Chariot Square Hotel.
Abi is annoyed by this, but Carl reassures her that it was just a cover and they plan to meet later that day in his hotel room. More Trending
When Carl gets back to his room later he can't help but smile as he realises Abi got there before him and is in the shower. Anticipating the afternoon ahead, he sees the bathroom door open and a face peers around the door.

But it's not Abi. It's Tracy, who's seized the initiative and let herself into his room after he carelessly told her which one it was.
How will Carl react? Can he possibly resist a freshly-showered Tracy? And, with Abi expected at the hotel at any moment, how will she react if she finds Carl in flagrante with the florist?

Robert loses everything in Emmerdale - but a twist follows

John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth)'s campaign against his brother and love-rival Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) reaches a critical point in upcoming Emmerdale episodes as he seeks to turn everyone in the village against Robert. Robert is, of course, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller)'s first husband and many fans would say he will always be Aaron's true love. 'Robron,' as the couple were affectionately known to fans, were torn apart in 2019 when Robert was sent to prison for the manslaughter of the man who raped his sister Victoria (Isabel Hodgins). In a surprise twist he reappeared in the village on a particularly auspicious day – the day Aaron was about to marry John – who happens to be half-brother to Robert and Victoria. Reunited, it was obvious there was still huge chemistry between Robert and Aaron and they kissed. Ultimately Aaron chose John, and went through with the wedding. It does seem that there's unfinished business between Robert and Aaron, though, and this infuriates John. Since then, he's taken every opportunity to try to goad Robert, even getting his rival worked up to such a pitch that he smacked John over the head with a wrench – an incident that John has footage of. In recent episodes John managed to wind Robert up by poisoning the mind of his nephew Harry against Uncle Robert. When Robert lost his temper at Harry's drumming while he was looking after him, Harry was left terrified. And John was on hand to look like the good guy and be a reassuring person for Harry to cling to. Adding a bit more fuel to the fire, John exaggerates what happened when he tells Victoria about the incident. This is the last straw as far as she's concerned and she's finally had enough of Robert. John's next move is to make sure Robert is fully aware of how upset Victoria is. He gloats that Robert has lost both Victoria and Aaron. This leaves Robert in absolute despair. At his lowest point, he smashes up his room. This commotion is overheard by Aaron, who stops Robert's rampage and calms him down. Robert tells him he knows he's messed up and he's lost everything, including Aaron. He's surprised by Aaron's response. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? He says the reason he's been keeping away is that he's feeling conflicted himself. Although he's with John, he has feelings for Robert that won't go away so his only option has been to avoid him. More Trending With Aaron's confession out in the open, the two give in to their mutual passion and end up sleeping together. Obviously this is the exact opposite of what John wanted and potentially puts both of them in danger if he should find out. And that's a real possibility as, lying in bed together, they hear Victoria and John outside talking about how they should check in on Robert. Awkward. And quite possibly deadly. Brody receives help from unexpected resident in new Corrie crime story

Earlier this year Coronation Street fans were introduced to Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey). We first saw him at the STC where Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) was in custody. He very quickly made Dylan's life a misery, bullying him and manipulating his dad Sean (Antony Cotton). After his release from the STC we discovered Brody had strong connections to Coronation Street. His parents Mick and Lou Michaelis (Joe Layton and Farrel Hegarty) were busy causing chaos among the neighbours, and a flashback episode revealed that the pair of them had been friends with DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) in their youth. When Kit let Mick take the fall for a crime they committed and Mick went to prison, Kit and Lou had a relationship – the result of which was Brody. Mick and Lou are currently in prison after Mick went on a violent rampage and ended up killing PC Craig Tinker (Colson Smith). He's unlikely to be released any time soon as he also managed to break out of prison and came back to the Street in an attempt to go on the run with his family. Lou was sent to prison for assaulting Gary Windass (Mikey North). As soon as Brody's feet hit the cobbles he was up to criminal business, including shoplifting from the corner shop. Crime is really all he's known growing up with Mick and Lou. At heart, we've seen that Brody isn't a bad person. He genuinely wants the best for his sisters and to take care of them, and in his conversations with Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove) especially there are signs that he could be ready to change his life around. Kit has tried to get to know him, though his attempts have been a bit ham-fisted, like when he and Sarah (Tina O'Brien) took Brody to Speed Daal for the world's most cringeworthy bonding session. Tim (Joe Duttine) and Sally (Sally Dynevor) have also offered Brody as much support as they can, as they continue to look after his sisters. And Bernie would like nothing more than a close relationship with her grandson. More Trending So Brody isn't short of potential mentors, but in upcoming episodes he's offered mentorship of a somewhat different kind. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? He's recently started work in Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell)'s garage, which for a character like Brody is providing him with a wide range of temptations. Carl (Jonathan Howard) walks in one day to find Brody preparing to steal an expensive car. Carl warns him that his actions will mean he'll be soon back inside the STC. Then he makes him an offer. If he wants to find out an easier way to steal cars, he should come back and see him. View More » As well as doing dodgy MOT's, Carl has also been working with a character called Fiona to steal cars, using Kevin's garage as a front for these activities. Strictly's Motsi Mabuse breaks silence after legal battle against ex-husband

Strictly Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse has issued a message to fans following her £70,000 legal battle with ex-husband Timo Kulczak. The couple tied the knot in 2003 before divorcing in 2014, with Motsi accusing her ex-partner of abusive behaviour. Last year, her ex-husband started court proceedings to sue her following claims in Motsi's autobiography, Finding My Own Rhythm: My Story, which was released in 2022. In the memoir, she said Timo paid her an allowance from her dance teaching and TV earnings, controlled her diet, and rejected her wants to have a baby. He has denied these claims. Motsi had been sued for £70k by Timo, but this week, a German judge ruled in her favour following the long-running court case. Taking to her Instagram Stories, she wrote: 'After almost three years the legal proceedings against me have now come to an end with the court ruling in my favour. 'This case has been a long and challenging process accompanied by media coverage and many articles over the years it has been a constant burden and I am relieved that clarity has finally been achieved. 'I would like to thank my family especially my husband my lawyer my team and those who supported me throughout this time now I can close this chapter and focus on the future with renewed strength.' In 2023, Timo accused Motsi of lying in order to 'push book sales' and claimed he was 'a loving and caring husband' during their marriage. 'She did something bad to me and my family and I can't accept that,' he told The Sun. 'Now I have reached a point whereby I cannot just let things stand as they are when something is put out there in public and it is simply not true. 'I am deeply disappointed and hurt. Looking back, I remember a very good and positive and happy time that simply cannot be compared to some of the claims about me that have now come to light. 'I was a loving and caring husband who was always by her side at any time, when she needed help. I don't feel I was controlling, I see all of what I did as organising and being helpful to her.' His lawyers asked the court to jail Motsi for up to six months or fine her £250k if she ever repeated the claims from her book. Motsi's representatives claimed at the time that 'no such written court order exists'. 'It is categorically untrue that our client faces imprisonment with regard to her former husband's civil lawsuit, or that a fine, which would only be payable if our client culpably violates a court order, would be more than a nominal amount,' they said in a statement to The Mirror. More Trending 'There is no legal basis for this lawsuit. To reiterate, our client reserves all rights in this matter.' After her divorce from Timo, whom she had moved to Germany to be with when she was 18, Motsi married her new dance partner, Evgenij Vozynuk, in 2017. The couple have a daughter and run a dance school together near Frankfurt. View More » Motsi will return to Strictly for the 2025 series next month, along with fellow judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, and Anton Du Beke. Got a story?
