Scandal confirmed as major Coronation Street legend cheats on husband

The Coronation Street air has been seething with unresolved sexual tension ever since Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) arrived in Weatherfield and set eyes on his sister-in-law Abi Webster (Sally Carman). And it looks like they're finally about to give in to their feelings in episodes airing soon. When Abi realised that the handsome man she'd been flirting with in Freshco's car park was actually Kevin (Michael Le Vell)'s brother, it obviously came as a shock. Over the months as they've got to know each other, the attraction between them hasn't died down, although Abi has insisted that it's a love that can never be, because of her loving Kevin and him having cancer. Recently Kevin has discovered two things. One is that his wife and his brother seem to either be having an affair or are on the verge of it. The other is that he doesn't have cancer any more as his treatment has been successful. However, he's pretending that he still does have cancer in the hope that this will make Abi think twice about leaving him – and so far that's working. It's a complex situation, and Carl is dealing with complexities of his own as he owes a lot of money and has been using Kev's garage as a venue for doing up stolen cars as a side-hustle to try and make some money. These situations all come together in an upcoming episode when Kevin overhears Carl talking to his accomplice Fiona about a flash car he's working on and how, if she steals it, they can split the profit. Kevin attempts to pursue Fiona as she drives off in the car and soon collapses, unwell. Glenda (Jodie Prenger) takes him to the hospital and soon Carl turns up. Kevin reveals that he knows that Carl has been up to something dodgy with Fiona. Carl turns the tables by telling his brother that he's been chatting to the medical staff and he knows that Kevin is now cancer-free. When Abi hears what Carl has been up to she has a go at him for the trouble he's caused. He resists the urge to tell her that Kevin is deceiving her about still having cancer. She does find out, however – from Tyrone (Alan Halsall). She's worrying about how to tell Jack (Kyran Bowes) that Kevin's cancer hasn't responded to treatment and Tyrone knows he can't let her do that and breaks it to her that Kevin has been lying about his health since receiving the all-clear. 'I'm Canadian living in UK – supermarkets here are cheaper but there's big downside'

A Canadian man living in the UK showed how supermarkets in Canada are different to those in the UK as he visited a Freshco store during his trip back home, and there were some big differences A Canadian man living in the UK has compared British supermarkets to one in Canada and shown all the ways they are different. Matt Giffen moved from Canada to London and has been sharing his experiences on social media, where he has amassed 21.2 million likes on TikTok. It's expected that he had some culture shocks when moving to the UK as several factors make it different from his home country, including the weather and climate and economy as the average income in Canada is higher than the UK and it also has a lower unemployment rate. With this in mind, Matt found that groceries in Canada tend to be more expensive than in the UK. ‌ He shared a video on TikTok exploring Fresho, which is a Canadian chain of discount supermarkets. ‌ Walking into the store, the first thing he noticed was that the produce section was 'literally shining', such as apples that were 'glistening.' The Canadian expat claimed it is 'so expensive' in Canadian grocery stores. He found a pack of boneless chicken bites for $16 (£11.90) plus tax but he said in Tesco they're around £2. Continuing to explore the Freshco store he added: 'This is the section where the ready meals and meal deals would be in the UK but sadly, we ain't got those in Canada. I hope you guys know how lucky you are to have those.' ‌ Matt revealed that he is a 'sucker for a meal deal'. He then moved onto what he thinks is the biggest difference between supermarkets in Canada and the UK - the 'famous bagged milk.' ‌ The Canadian showed that the store even had bagged chocolate flavoured milk. In supermarkets in the UK milk is packaged in plastic bottles and cartons. Matt continued: 'I've come to the British international section. This is what we think of you guys.' In this aisle he found chocolate bars, including Yorkie, Cadbury Flake, Cadbury Dairy Milk, as well as Tunnocks Milk Chocolate tea cakes. ‌ There were also packs of Fox's Golden Crunch Creams, Heinz Beans and tea from a range of brands, including Barry's and Typhoo. Matt laughed and remarked: 'It's actually pretty accurate, I'm not gonna lie. One thing I can confidently say that you Brits have over us is your crisps but we do have some crazy flavours.' He showed a pack of Ruffles All Dressed and Hickory Sticks as examples of crisps found in Canadian supermarkets. ‌ Next he had a look at the chocolate aisle and showed some that he hasn't seen in the UK, such as Nestle Coffee Crisp Pops and Reese's Oh Henry. Matt continued to look at the confectionary products on offer and found three choices of Haribo - Starmix, Happy Cola and Goldbears. After this he picked up a box of KP Original Macaroni and Cheese and shared: 'Probably one of the biggest things I miss since moving to the UK is this right here. 'It is like the best, cheapest meal of all time.' He further claimed that Canadian supermarkets are 'objectively cleaner' and offer a 'more enjoyable experience', admitting that when he goes grocery shopping in the UK sometimes it 'can be a bit mental.'

Cheating Coronation Street pair ‘exposed' as two legends witness their antics

There's been an irresistible attraction between Abi Webster (Sally Carman) and Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) ever since the latter arrived in Coronation Street. A small car accident in Freshco's car park saw sparks flying between the two as they flirted furiously, although Abi did point out at the outset that she was married. To her horror, the man she'd been flirting with turned up in the Street not long after, and she discovered that he was, in fact, Kevin (Michael Le Vell)'s brother who'd been living in Germany. Since then the two have tried to keep a lid on their feelings for each other, with Abi adamant that she won't do anything to hurt Kevin, who's going through cancer treatment. Carl hasn't given up, though, and seems to think it's only a matter of time before he and Abi are together. As Sally Carman told us: 'I'm reading [the scripts] thinking poor Kevin, but I'm also thinking poor Abi because she's really fighting it, telling him to go away and leave her alone but he's just pursuing her relentlessly.' There have been plenty of charged moments between the two, and any time they're in the same room together it's obvious to viewers that there are sparks between them. So far, however, they've managed to avoid these moments being noticed by anyone else. Until now. In upcoming episodes we'll see their guard slip and their behaviour around each other is noticed by the two people who are closest to them – Debbie (Sue Devaney), and Kevin himself. Oh 'eck. Poor Kevin is about to go for another chemo session and he's understandably feeling a bit fragile. He thanks Abi and Carl for their support, saying he couldn't cope as well as he is doing without them being in his corner. Abi and Carl exchange another awkward look – and this time Kevin notices. More Trending He doesn't say anything, but he's obviously a bit thrown by what he's just witnessed and he tries to make sense of it. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? The following day, Carl and Abi have one of their hushed conversations where Carl tries to persuade Abi that they're meant to be together and she shouldn't hesitate because of Kevin. This time the person who notices what's going on is Debbie. To make things even more awkward, Carl and Abi realise that Debbie has seen them having this conversation and they know she's sharp enough to put two and two together and she won't stand back and see Kevin get hurt. Cheating scandal confirmed in Coronation Street as rogue kisses relative's wife

Sparks flew in Coronation Street between Abi Webster (Sally Carman) and Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) when they had a car accident in Freshco's car park. When Carl subsequently turned out to be Kevin (Michael Le Vell) and Debbie (Sue Devaney)'s brother it was an uncomfortable moment for Abi when she realised the man she'd been flirting with was actually her brother-in-law. And things are about to get even more complicated when Carl makes a move. During that first meeting in the car park Carl was very upfront about being attracted to Abi, telling her she was 'funny and gorgeous,' and asking her out for a drink. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Abi made it quite clear that she was married and her husband was dealing with cancer treatment, but it was equally clear that she was attracted to Carl. As soon as she realised that he was Kevin's brother, Abi has been doing her best to put some distance between her and Carl, but considering he's determined to stick around to support Kevin and also Debbie – he's the only family member so far who knows about Debbie's dementia diagnosis – that hasn't been easy. Jonathan Howard told us that Carl will have few qualms in pursuing Abi. 'He's massively attracted to Abi so he's going to go for that, all guns blazing,' he revealed. 'He wants what he wants, he's impulsive and he wants to feel good, whoever that is with.' In upcoming episodes a vulnerable moment for Carl leads him to some reckless behaviour when he kisses Abi. Jonathan described what happens. 'The kiss comes in quite a vulnerable and emotional moment for Carl where he's dealing with this secret he's keeping about his sister. He's trying to contain that vow and promise he made to his sister. More Trending 'When I go to see Abi it's just after finding out the news about what's going to happen with Debbie, so I'm already in quite a vulnerable, mixed-emotion place. Everything's a little mixed up from his head to his heart to what's between his legs and he impulsively goes to kiss her .' Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? How Abi reacts to this remains to be seen, but Jonathan told us that, in that moment, Carl's feelings for Abi are genuine – or that's what Carl chooses to believe. 'I think he's convinced himself that it is something strong, that if he's going to wreck this marriage it's because he's really fallen for her,' he concluded.
