Taylor Swift fans are convinced pop superstar has secretly agreed to play the Super Bowl halftime show... here's why

One of the many topics Taylor Swift discussed in her appearance on boyfriend Travis Kelce 's podcast, New Heights, was her new obsession with baking sourdough. What if the 'Anti-Hero' singer is not actually referring to bread?
Many of Swift's fans think her references to sourdough may be an Easter Egg itself. Swift has been known to foreshadow and drop ambiguous hints about future projects.
It may be a clever way to try to distract her fan base while she interacted live with her NFL boyfriend for the first time and announced 'The Life of A Showgirl' from something maybe even bigger at play.
The huge theory from Swifties is that the 14-time Grammy Award winner has already locked in being the halftime performer for Super Bowl 2026.
One of the biggest hints, with the Super Bowl taking place at Levi's Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers is that the team's mascot is Sourdough Sam.
Not to mention, Swift's lucky number is 13. Simple addition in the Bay Area NFL team's two-digit nickname equals that baker's dozen.
During New Height's co-host Jason Kelce's bombastic introduction of his brother's girlfriend, she emphasized how many countries on the 'Eras Tour' she visited - 47. The 47th show of her tour was at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Swift has made a big deal about numerology since the start of her career, hence why her 12th studio album has exactly 12 songs on it, with the title track being the final song of the record.
Another clue for Swift's diehard fan base is in between Swift and Kelce during her New Heights appearance - a replica of the Lombardi Trophy, handed out to the winner of the Super Bowl annually.
Swift has been popular enough, and had the music catalog for several years to get the most coveted spot in music, with the NFL expected to announce who succeeds Kendrick Lamar over the next several weeks.
The 35-year-old was in exile from the Super Bowl while Pepsi sponsored the halftime show due to her brand deal with rival Coca-Cola. Now, Apple Music is in charge of the spectacle.
Should Swift be the choice, it would be the first time the halftime performer has a chance to be romantically involved with a participant in the biggest game in sports.
The 'Karma is the guy on the Chiefs' riff on her own lyrics would have new meaning if Kelce had already played two quarters of a Super Bowl listening in a nearby locker room. And would Swift be able to perform with the emotions of watching her beau play in such a prestigious game?
Many fans thought Swift would wait for the Tennessee Titans new stadium to open so she could get the halftime show in her hometown of Nashville. Now, we could be a few months away from Swift jumping to the front of the line.

Bridal couple blasted for 'gross' and 'delusional' email to wedding guests ahead of the big day: 'This reeks of narcissist'

A bride and groom have been criticised after the email they allegedly sent to their guests ahead of the wedding was shared online. One of those invited to the anonymous couple's big day was so outraged by the message that they took to the Reddit group Wedding Shaming to unveil the American pair's 'gross' request. Sharing a screenshot of the note, which has since been deleted, the person wrote: 'Just got this email and mad enough to make a Reddit account.' In the message, the bride and groom revealed how they were about to offer 'some guidance for gifts so that nothing goes to waste'. They explained how they 'already have everything we "need" for our home' - so instead, urged guests to contribute to their 'honeymoon fund, spa days, and our "future home upgrades" (think bigger TV, wine fridge, etc)'. The couple suggested the 'minimum gift' from each guest should be $250, but insisted their friends and family should 'feel free to be more generous if you feel so inspired', adding that the 'experience we're offering is worth it'. 'We know this is unconventional, but we've worked hard on making our day special for you, so we hope you can return the favour,' concluded the pair. However, the email left many people outraged in the comment section of the post, with one person writing: 'This is gross.' A bride and groom have been criticised after the email (pictured) they allegedly sent to their guests ahead of the wedding was shared online Another said: 'The reception should be for the guests. But that's called hosting. This reeks of narcissist - "I did all this work for you (that you didn't ask for), so what are you going to do for me?"' A third added: 'Completely delusional. I'm sitting here counting out pennies to buy groceries and this lady thinks people should at minimum spend $500 on a wedding gift?' For their guests who are more 'traditional', the bride and groom did link two gifts in their email, one seemingly a designer bag. 'If I had sent an email like that before my wedding, my parents would have probably disowned me,' wrote one person in the comments. Another said: 'I would send a reply stating that it is extremely tacky to send an email detailing how much a person must spend on a "gift" for a wedding. Therefore, I will not attend, saving you at least $250 for the cost of my attendance.' The bride and groom's email read: 'Hello friends and family! As we approach the big day, we wanted to give you some guidance for gifts so that nothing goes to waste. 'We are not registered anywhere, as we already have everything we "need" for our home. 'Instead, we would love if you could contribute to our honeymoon fund, spa days, and our "future home upgrades" (think bigger TV, wine fridge, etc). 'We kindly ask that all contributions be in cash or venmo (no cheques please!). Minimum suggested gift is $250 per guest, but feel free to be more generous if you feel so inspired. The experience we're offering is worth it. 'If you're traditional and HAVE to get a gift these are some things we want... (two Amazon links were included). 'We know this is unconventional, but we've worked hard on making our day special for you, so we hope you can return the favour!' The email comes after another bride-to-be was 'torn apart' over a 'tacky' and 'cringe' note she sent out to guests who declined her wedding invitation or failed to RSVP on time. The bride and groom decided to send out a 'you will be missed' card to prevent guests who forgot to RSVP from showing up unannounced on the wedding day expecting a seat. 'We are so sorry you cannot make it,' the card read. 'You are receiving this to let you know that your name will not be among those attending the wedding. 'This is either because you declined the invitation or you did not RSVP on time. Either way you will be missed.' But it was the next detail on the card that got everyone talking. If you still want to send the couple a gift, there is still time,' the couple said, which was printed in a larger font size. The card ended with a link to the couple's online wedding gift registry. The bride pointed out the card had a medieval design because they were having a Lord of the Rings themed wedding. 'So I am sending this to people who did not RSVP (or declined the invite)... Should I word it differently/add anything? It feels pretty empty,' she explained. 'I added the gifts part because I was trying to fill space. We have a good number of people who have not RSVPed and multiple reminder texts have been sent out. I just don't want people showing up expecting a spot.' Her post was re-shared on Reddit - with many taking particular issue with the bride and groom for still trying to get gifts from guests who can't make the wedding. 'This was just a horrible idea. Terrible. I'm getting a sinking ick feeling just seeing it,' one said. 'Nice try, but there's no way to make this less tacky,' another shared. However, some defended the bride and groom's card. 'To be fair she clearly states that multiple reminders have been sent. At that point it's entirely on the guest and it's reasonable to take their silence as a no and clarify that,' one explained.

Nickelodeon child star Drake Bell files for divorce three years after split

Former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell has filed for divorce from wife Janet Von Schmeling. The 39-year-old actor filed a petition in Seminole County, Florida on Thursday, according to TMZ. It comes after Von Schmeling initially filed to end the marriage in Los Angeles Superior Court in April 2023, citing their date of separation as September 2022. She requested primary legal and physical custody of their only child, four-year-old son Wyatt, while asking the court to grant Bell visitation rights. And the actress — who has since moved on with Jim Perez — additionally requested spousal support. Von Schmeling is now expecting her second child, and her first with Perez. She announced the pregnancy on Instagram in February, sharing a sonogram and the caption, 'Our Rainbow Baby. September cannot come sooner ❤️.' The term 'rainbow baby' refers to a child who is born to a woman who previously suffered a miscarriage. This past Father's Day the soon-to-be mother-of-two paid tribute to her new beau in a social media post. She uploaded video footage of him spending time with Wyatt and wrote in the caption, 'He chose us… In the big ways, in the quiet moments, and all the in-betweens. 'He became the man Wyatt and I didn't know we needed… 'And now, we're counting down the days until our baby girl gets to be with her daddy too. Happy (early) Father's Day to the man who showed up with love and never looked back.' Von Schmeling, whose Instagram profile describes her as a producer, first made her relationship with Perez public in October 2023. They split their time between California and Florida. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Janet Von Schmeling (@planetjanettv) Bell and Von Schmeling's separation was made public in January 2023, with his estranged wife filing for divorce that April. They began dating in 2013 and got married in 2018. At the time of their separation, insiders revealed to Page Six that he had entered 'treatment' weeks after he was seen huffing a balloon in the front seat of his parked car while their son slept in the backseat. Bell, who is known for his roles on Drake & Josh and appearances on The Amanda Show, was reportedly inflating and deflating the balloon for more than thirty minutes outside his home. In July 2021 he was sentenced to two years probation and 200 hours of community after pleading guilty to child endangerment charges. Authorities said a 15-year-old girl attended one of his concerts in Cleveland in 2017 and contacted Toronto police in October 2018 about being sexually assaulted by him. Toronto authorities then forwarded their findings to Cleveland police, prompting an investigation. It was discovered that Bell and the teen had 'developed a relationship' online prior to the concert, during which he sent her 'inappropriate social media messages.'
