Lorraine Kelly details rule break at Buckingham Palace as she says 'I'm in trouble'
ITV star Lorraine Kelly has admitted to breaking one strict rule while visiting Buckingham Palace in the past, after Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo's recent viral video.
Lorraine Kelly has cheekily admitted to flouting a major rule during her visit to Buckingham Palace, amidst discussions about Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo's recent viral dance video filmed on the palace's grand staircase.
The ITV favourite was reflecting on the reality stars' antics, which some have interpreted as a spoof of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's "Baby Mama" dance clip released when the Duchess was in labour.
With strict no-filming rules at the Royal residence, the Made In Chelsea couple's video has raised eyebrows.
Despite describing Jamie and Sophie as "a bit naughty" for their mischievous video, Lorraine couldn't help but share her own rebellious moment at the palace.
Commentator Paul Brand expressed his disapproval, saying: "I mean, they were breaking protocol. I personally feel that as a very aggrieved news broadcaster, if I did that, I'd definitely be off to the tower.
"They've got really strict rules about filing in Buckingham Palace and then if you're an influencer, you can get away with it! You can get away with anything. I hear that you got away with it, Lorraine?"
To which Lorraine confessed: "Well, I may or may not have taken a sneaky photograph. I'll tell you for why, that painting reminded me so much of Joe Lycett! I had to take a picture because that's Joe Lycett! He's had another life."
ITV audiences were treated to the snapshot Lorraine captured, showing her posing thoughtfully in front of a painting, hand on chin, reports Express.co.uk
The presenter added: "I know I'm not supposed to do that, I'll get into trouble, I shan't ever do it again."
Curious, one of her guests asked if she got into trouble for taking the snap as Lorraine replied:" No, I don't know that they knew... well they do now, so I'm in trouble!"
Although this wasn't Lorraine's only breach of Royal protocol, as she once posed with TV editor Victoria Kennedy in the grand hallway for an Instagram post.

Love Island first look as Emily learns the truth and Alima has some strong words for Remell
Tonight's episode of Love Island is filled with drama, tears and revelations as the Islanders return for the sleepover villa Last night's episode of Love Island delivered high drama as Maya Jama made her highly anticipated return to the ITV villa, bringing game-changing news for the Islanders at the sleepover villa. As Emily, Helena, Dejon and Remell faced the crucial decision to either stick with their current partners in the main villa or twist for someone new, the outcome saw four Islanders - Shae, Will, Caprice and Poppy - sent home, officially ending their journey on the show. The biggest twist came when Remell opted to remain coupled with Alima, despite forming a connection with Poppy. The unexpected choice left not only Poppy stunned, but the rest of his fellow Islanders. As we wait to see the fall out of Remell's actions, here is a sneak peek into tonight's episode of Love Island... Helena, Giorgio, Emily, Dejon and Remell return from the sleepover villa to much anticipation. It doesn't take long for Remell to pull Alima for a chat at the fire pit, hoping for clarity or maybe a second chance. But Alima is quick to set the tone, making it clear where she stands. Alima states: 'I just hope you know that it's done between us. At this point I want to try and be civil…there's no going back.' Caught off guard, Remell responds: 'So you don't want to hear what I have to say?' Although Alima doesn't hold back, voicing her frustration: "This is why I was struggling to open up to you…why did you have to share a bed with her?" With emotions running high, Alima ends the conversation and walks off leaving Remell to spend the night alone on the day bed. The next morning, still unhappy with how their conversation played out, Remell opens up to Dejon, saying: "on the outside I would've ghosted her by now.' Now the question lingers - does Remell regret not bringing Poppy back to the Villa? Meanwhile Emily wastes no time pulling Conor for a chat, hoping to clear the air. Instead he reveals that he shared a kiss with Megan on the terrace while Emily was away. 'That's quite intense... " Emily says, visibly taken aback. "I thought Megan was more into Tommy to the point where she wouldn't have done that…" Conor admits: 'My head has been with her [Megan].' Emily, clearly hurt, responds: "I wouldn't have cared about the kiss…the words 'while you were away my head was with her' pushes me out of the equation.' Later in the evening, Conor informs Emily that he and Megan will be spending the night in the hideaway together. Afterwards, Emily, confides in Tommy and Harry, saying: 'I don't expect anything from him, but from her [Megan], I would've expected more.' Conor and Megan share a kiss in the hideaway and Conor gives her his bracelet - a symbolic step forward. The next day, love is clearly in the air as Toni and Harrison are given the opportunity to go on a date. The pair head to pick strawberries, and Harrison opens up to Toni, saying: "I always say I like a fiery, direct girl and you tick both those boxes for sure.' Toni beams back: 'I'm happy with you so far. I like that we don't compare ourselves to anyone in the Villa… Things are going well between us.' Seems like everything is going berry well for Harrison and Toni. Elsewhere in the Villa, whispers grow louder. Ben confides in the boys that he's not feeling his connection with Yasmin, and when Dejon shares the news with Meg - on the condition she keeps it quiet - the secret doesn't stay secret for long. Meg gives Yasmin a heads-up, and that night Ben pulls her for a chat. 'I feel like we went from 0 to 100 real quick and I'm going to be taking a step back," he reveals. Yasmin later fills Toni in on what went down, and Toni gives her some advice: 'Someone needs to give Ben a piece of their mind and you're the perfect one." Encouraged by Toni's words, Yasmin confronts Ben and things quickly turn sour.

EastEnders star speaks out on grandmother assumptions as she shows weight loss
Lorraine Stanley, known for playing Karen Taylor on EastEnders, was met with reaction after sharing a video of the BBC soap star dancing with her daughter Nancy Former EastEnders cast member Lorraine Stanley has addressed the suggestion that she's a grandparent. It comes after she was met with reaction from fans on TikTok after posting a video of herself dancing alongside her daughter. Lorraine, 48, who played Karen Taylor on the BBC soap, and her fiancé Mark Perez are parents to Nancy, nine, together. She occassionally features in videos shared by the actor on the platform, with the mother and daughter often taking on dance trends at home together. The latest, uploaded last week, saw Lorraine and Nancy perform a choreographed routine to Maroon 5 and SZA 's song What Lovers Do. Lorraine wrote in the caption: "It's been a while!" She included hashtags like #motherdaughter. It's attracted more than 40,000 likes and fans reacted to the video in the comments section. The reaction included the suggestion that Nancy was Lorraine's granddaughter, which led the former soap star to assert that wasn't the case. One asked: "Is that your granddaughter?" Alongside an emoji depicting a face with rolling eyes, Lorraine replied to them: "Daughter." In another reply, beside a laughing emoj, she wrote: "Daughter #motherdaughter is a bit of a clue." Someone else wrote in the comments section just days ago: "Nothing better than seeing a grandparent have that kind of fun with their grandchild." Seemingly amused by it, Lorraine replied by sharing a trio of laughing emojis. Lorraine - whose five stone weight loss in recent years has continued to attract attention - was also met with praise over her apppearance. It included her receiving compliments from a former colleague from EastEnders. Shona McGarty, 33, who played Whitney Dean on the soap opera, wrote in the comments section: "Lou! Love this." Alongside photos of her from different stages of the experience, she told her followers: "It's been over two years since I started my journey. Lots of you are asking how I did it.I hope you enjoy my little weight loss journey video." Lorraine gave further details in the comments section at the time. She told one fan: "I was slightly embarrassed to tell the world I'd had surgery." She also said: "I wish I could say it was [through diet], but I did have to change my diet & still have to work hard to eat the right stuff to maintain it."
