Essentially a romantic, family drama, this Sharmila Tagore-starrer featured Rajesh Khanna playing an Air Force officer, who dies during a mission.
5. Aradhana (1969):
A path-breaking film directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, it was led by Aamir Khan ad featured other prominent names. It was a powerfully imagined youth drama, connecting India's struggle with independence with the spark of freedom among the youth.
6. Rang De Basanti (2006):
One of the most revered romantic Indian films, 'Veer Zara' was directed by Yash Chopra. SRK played the role of an Indian Air Force officer who falls in love with a Pakistani woman (Preity Zinta), and prefers spending his entire life in jail over giving away country secrets or his love.
7. Veer Zara (2004):
Shahid Kapoor played an Air Force officer in the film. A love story set in war, it also starred Sonam Kapoor, and was directed by Shahid's father, Pankaj Kapur. The film featured the Kargil War, 9/11 attacks and other terror-based incidents.
8. Mausam (2011):
Featuring Vidyut Jammwal as Intelligent Bureau agent Dev Jammwal, the film was based on the 1971 Indian Airlines hijacking. The film was directed by Sankalp Reddy.

'Housefull 5' Box Office collection day 8: Akshay Kumar's comedy film earns Rs 6 crore, total crosses Rs 133 crore
After a smashing start at the box office, Akshay Kumar's multi-starrer comedy 'Housefull 5' has begun to lose some momentum. While the film opened strong and pulled in big numbers during its first week, its eighth day saw the lowest collection so far – earning Rs 6 crore. Despite this fall, the movie has still managed to cross the Rs 133 crore mark in India net collections, according to early estimates by Sacnilk. A bumper opening weekend 'Housefull 5' made a grand entry at the box office. It earned Rs 24 crore on its first Friday, followed by Rs 31 crore on Saturday and Rs 32.5 crore on Sunday. By the end of the weekend, the film had already collected Rs 87.5 crore.
