Saiyaara box office: After Pushpa 2, Stree 2, Baahubali 2 & Chhaava, Ahaan Panday-Aneet Padda starrer becomes 10th film to achieve this glorious feat
In the times, where many Bollywood movies are struggling to get footfalls in the cinema halls, Saiyaara, featuring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, continues to achieve milestones at the box office.
After emerging as the 2nd highest grosser of the year, the musical romantic drama has now become the 10th film to earn over Rs 100 crore in its 2nd week at the box office. In fact, even biggies like Pathaan, KGF 2, War, Padmaavat, Sanju, PK, Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai have not achieved this milestone.

_Saiyaara_ is expected to enter the Rs 300 crore club in its third weekend; however, it would be crucial for the movie to hold well amid two releases - Son of Sardaar 2 and Dhadak 2.
Despite not going all out with the promotions, Saiyaara garnered unprecedented excitement among the cinegoers. Before the release of the movie, director Mohit Suri spoke about it and told Firstpost, 'I've been inside the studio for the last one month. I have no idea. And unlike the past when people travel from one studio to another, this is everything inhouse at YRF. So I haven't really gone out and met the world outside. Normally, when you are working on other films, you go out for the day; for sound, edit, and VFX. It was different different places.
And just hearing it now, it does feel it does feel very redeeming and validating because when I started off this film, I was quite discouraged by a lot of senior people saying that nobody would be interested in a young love story. Because at that time, larger-than-life films were being made and I just thought that my voice would be lost there when everyone was shouting. So I just went and tried to make a film which is very different from what others were doing. And to me, the fact that people are appreciating that the difference that it's standing out means a lot.'

The customer had requested the bakery to write "Happy Birthday Mummy" on the cake, and added a note saying: 'Text with frosting'. However, once the cake was delivered, the OP saw that the bakery had printed the entire note on the cake, including the words "Text with frosting". The user posted a photo of the cake, showing the message, written exactly as typed in the order: "Happy Birthday Mummy. Text with frosting." "Ordered this cake from creme castle. 300 grams for whopping Rs.400 and this is what I got. Plus the customer service is so bad." the user captioned the post. The OP also shared a screenshot of a conversation with the bakery, seeking a resolution. However, the bakery refused to provide any refund or change. 'Sorry for laughing but..' As the post went viral, garnering hundreds of upvotes, social media users could not help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation.
