Cops seize cannabis and ketamine after arresting foreigners, college students in Subang Jaya private party
Subang Jaya district police chief ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said 6.5 grams (g) of cannabis and 1.7 g of ketamine were also seized during the operation at 12.30 am.
"Those arrested were from 18 to 27, including 13 foreigners while four, aged 21 to 25, are suspected of being involved in drug trafficking,' he said in a statement here today, adding that 12 suspects, nine locals and three foreigners, tested positive for drugs.
The 12 were detained for further investigation while the rest were released, he added. — Bernama

Labourer in Kelantan charged with raping teen daughter
The 38-year-old man faces eight to 30 years in prison and at least 10 strokes of the rotan if convicted by the court. PETALING JAYA : A 38-year-old labourer has been charged in the Kota Bharu sessions court with raping his teenage daughter in March. The accused claimed trial after the charge was read to him before judge Zulkifli Abllah, Harian Metro reported. He was charged with raping his 16-year-old daughter in a car at Jalan Pasir Mas-Salor in Kota Bharu at about 4am on March 31. The charge was framed under Section 376(3) of the Penal Code, which provides for between eight and 30 years in prison and at least 10 strokes of the rotan, upon conviction. Deputy public prosecutor Ahmad Faiz Fitri did not offer bail for the accused, who was unrepresented, saying the charge against him was serious. The court fixed Aug 24 for mention.

He said an investigation is ongoing under Section 419 of the Penal Code for cheating by impersonation, and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act for improper use of network facilities.
