
Motorcyclist killed in North York crash: traffic services investigating
A motorcyclist is dead after a single-vehicle collision early Sunday morning in North York, police say.
Toronto police say they responded to Jane Street and Gordon MacKay Road just after midnight for reports of a motorcycle that had struck a pole.
The circumstances around the incident remain unclear but officials say the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
Toronto police traffic services are investigating.

Suspect on the loose after break-in and assault in Windsor

Police responded to the break-in shortly before 3 a.m. in the 3300 block of Askin Avenue. The adult woman was asleep when an unknown man entered her home and assaulted her. She fought back and after a brief struggle, the suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction. The assault resulted in minor physical injuries of the victim. Police, assisted by a K9 unit, searched the area but haven't located the suspect. The incident is believed to be targeted and isolated, and investigators are asking for any dashcam or home surveillance footage between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m.

Investigation underway into alleged homicide on Sturgeon Lake First Nation
An investigation is underway after a person was found dead by Valleyview RCMP on Sturgeon Lake First Nation early Sunday morning. Police believe it was an isolated incident but added that there will be a heavy police presence on the Nation Sunday.
