Since the incident, the airline has faced heavy criticism over its operations. Amid the backlash, Sana extended her support to the airline by choosing to travel to India with them.
The Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon actress posted a photo on her Instagram story featuring her boarding pass alongside two female Air India cabin crew members. Expressing solidarity with the airline, Sana captioned the image with a supportive message.
She wrote, 'We are with you, Air India.'
Sana shared another post and showed a photo of her sprained leg. In a separate post, Sana shared a glimpse of her sprained foot while seated on the flight. The screen in front of her displayed the word 'Namaste.' Alongside the image, she wrote, 'Welcome Mumbai with a sprained foot.'
Sana was in London to celebrate her 32nd birthday and she was joined by actress Mahhi Vij and Rajiv Adatia.
