Alia Bhatt's bohemian bandana with lehenga is the coolest wedding style trend of 2025

Time of India2 days ago

Alia Bhatt transitioned from Cannes' high fashion to her friend's Spanish wedding, showcasing her style versatility. She traded gowns for a vibrant, patchwork lehenga with a purple bandana, adding a bohemian twist. Videos captured her joy and charm, contrasting her Cannes red carpet appearances and solidifying her status as a fashion icon.
Just days after making a dazzling debut at the Cannes Film Festival, Alia Bhatt swapped high fashion runways for a sun-soaked celebration in Spain and her wardrobe made sure she was the centre of attention once again.
This time, the spotlight was far more personal, as the actress joined the wedding festivities of her close friend Tanya Saha Gupta, who married David Angelov in a dreamy, picture-perfect ceremony.
Known for her ability to effortlessly pivot between couture and cool-girl chic, Alia surprised everyone by ditching heavy bridal finery in favour of something experimental and joyful. She opted for a riot of colours in a patchwork-style lehenga, featuring bold ethnic prints and an embroidered bralette blouse.
But what truly turned heads was her unconventional accessory choice, a purple printed bandana tied gypsy-style, adding an unexpected boho edge to her festive Indian look.
Bandanas aren't your typical wedding headwear, but leave it to Alia to make the offbeat feel iconic. The scarf not only added a playful, bohemian twist but also blended seamlessly with her carefree attitude, making it the perfect pick for a breezy destination wedding.

Paired with tiny retro sunglasses and metallic earrings, her ensemble brought a youthful freshness to traditional Indian wear and instantly set Instagram buzzing.
Videos from the wedding show Alia completely in her element: smiling, dancing, and soaking up the love-filled atmosphere with her friends. In one particularly sweet moment, she's seen holding flower petals, ready to shower the newlyweds with blessings all while radiating effortless charm and unmistakable star power.
This vibrant wedding look was in sharp contrast to the high-glam gowns she wore in Cannes, where she made headlines in a series of show-stopping ensembles, from a soft peach Schiaparelli to a dramatic black Armani Privé creation, and finally, a custom Gucci sari-gown hybrid that brought Indian elegance to the global stage.
From gliding down red carpets to dancing under the Spanish sun, Alia Bhatt is proving that she's not just a style icon, she's a fashion shapeshifter. Whether it's high couture or a lehenga with a twist, she wears it all with confidence, creativity, and a whole lot of fun.

Janhvi Kapoor likes a reel shading Madhuri Dixit's ‘vulgar' steps in Dhak Dhak; trolls joke ‘Algorithm ki galti hai'

Unintentional 'likes' on Instagram posts have been getting celebrities into trouble on social media this month. The first victim was cricketer Virat Kohli, whose official Instagram handle unknowingly 'liked' actor Avneet Kaur's picture shared by a fan page, on his wife Anushka Sharma's birthday. Virat later shared clarification that this action was not intentional. Interestingly, Avneet has been attending several matches and was rumoured to be dating Virat's fellow cricketer Shubman Gill. The next was Tamannaah Bhatia, who also blamed Instagram for unintentionally 'liking' a fan-made video of Deepika Padukone amid latter's controversy with Sandeep Reddy Vanga over his next film Spirit. Well, fans think the latest victim of the algorithm pandemic is Janhvi Kapoor, whose 'like' on a fan-made reel has left netizens in shock. A post shared by Janhvi Kapoor (@janhvikapoor) Unlike Virat Kohli and Tamannaah Bhatia, Janhvi Kapoor has not yet shared an official statement about 'liking' the video. But because of the content of this post, and Sridevi's rumoured rivalry with Madhuri, netizens are convinced that the actor will follow in Virat and Tamannaah's footsteps soon. What's so crazy about this clip? Well, it begins with a shot of Madhuri Dixit dancing to her iconic track Dhak Dhak Karne Laga from the 1992 film Beta. Over this clip are the words: 'Did vulgar step song and did nothing in the movie and won Filmfare Best Actress award.' Under this video is a clip of Janhvi's late mother Sridevi from the film Khuda Gawah, which released the same year. Here the caption reads, 'Did double role with landmark acting that carried whole movie on her shoulder still Filmfare ignored her for Best Actress.' When eagle eyed netizens pointed out that Janhvi Kapoor has 'liked' this Instagram reel, the internet obviously erupted. For instance, one social media user claimed, 'Guys!!! Algorithm ki galti hai dont blame JK 😡,' whereas another comment read, 'Loving this era of Kaleshi Bollywood. Acchi films nahi toh kalesh hi sahi 🤣.' A netizen shared, 'Another victim of the algorithm Instagram comes with a vaccine soon,' whereas another predicted, 'Wait for her to join Kohli - Tamanna gang of accidental like post.' Meanwhile, some trolled JK. One such angry Madhuri fan stated, 'WTF jahnvi How about her entire role in and her song Devara? What about that?,' whereas another harsh comment read, 'Irony of janhvi liking a reel shading doing thirst trap songs.' A post shared by Old Bollywood (@magical_cinema1990) But some fans did come out in Janhvi's defence, giving her the benefit of doubt. One such comment read, 'Ye bhi toh ho sakta hai, she saw her mom's pic, missed her and liked it? Like you get lost in the moment sometimes with all the focus on the picture of your deceased parent and nothing else? I think we can cut her some leash on this atleast.' As a member of the audience, who did you think was the star of 1992 — Madhuri Dixit in Beta or Sridevi in Khuda Gawah?

Did you know Gulshan Devaiah eats just one meal a day to stay lean and healthy at 47?

Gulshan Devaiah , the talented actor known for his work in films like 'Dahaad', and 'Hunterrr' celebrated his 47th birthday on May 28. What makes his fitness routine stand out is his unusual diet, he eats just one meal a day. In a June 2024 interview with CNN-News18, Gulshan opened up about how the One Meal a Day (OMAD) diet helps him keep a lean body and stay healthy. Why Gulshan chose the OMAD diet The 'Dum Maaro Dum' actor explained why he started this strict eating plan back in 2018. He said, 'Mostly I eat once a day; I say mostly because it's not every day, but I try and be as consistent with it as much as possible. So, I would say 300 out of 365 days I would eat one meal a day.' He found it hard to keep his eating habits steady before. 'I was finding it very difficult to be consistent with my eating habits because most of us eat more than what is really necessary for us. And then that ends up in some weight gain and some other health problems... I was finding it very difficult to maintain a certain ideal weight and look... it's (OMAD) not for everybody but I think I really like it because I don't really like to be on diets. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch CFD với công nghệ và tốc độ tốt hơn IC Markets Đăng ký Undo ' Gulshan likes that OMAD lets him eat the foods he enjoys. 'So this way I'm able to eat foods that I enjoy, but also because I eat mostly once a day, how much will I eat? So it automatically restricts portions.' The challenge of getting enough nutrients Eating just one meal a day is not without its challenges. The 'Shaitan' actor admitted, 'That is a challenge. You have to eat a variety of different types of foods.' He shared a common mistake he made at first, 'The one common mistake that I made initially was, when I'm working during the day, I eat my meal after I'm done, so that's almost like half an hour before going to bed. That sometimes would cause me a little bit of acidity in the morning.' To fix this, he had to change what he ate. 'So, I had to also cut out certain types of foods... I have to keep switching between foods and include different vegetables and fruits and keep changing them seasonally, which I was not very good at doing.' Despite his best efforts, Gulshan faces some vitamin shortages. 'So, I would have some deficiencies, vitamin deficiencies, for which I would take vitamin supplements... my D3 is usually on the lower side because I don't consume a lot of dairy products.' Sticking to the routine most days The 'Guns & Gulaabs' actor tries to be consistent with his one meal a day plan. Eating one meal on about 300 days a year shows his dedication. While it's not every day, this routine helps him stay in shape and avoid the ups and downs of other diets. Why OMAD works for Gulshan Gulshan's approach to eating once a day is simple but effective. It helps him control how much he eats without feeling like he is on a strict diet. As he said, 'I don't really like to be on diets. So this way I'm able to eat foods that I enjoy, but also because I eat mostly once a day, how much will I eat? So it automatically restricts portions.' This natural portion control is what keeps his weight in check and helps him maintain a lean look. "This Is Egg-cellent": Foodies Can't Stop Drooling Over This Tokyo-Special Cheese Omelette

Boiled, fried, scrambled or cooked in a flavourful curry, eggs can be relished in a variety of ways. That's not all - they're packed with protein, making them an integral part of our diet. For an extra dose of creativity, eggs can be prepared with herbs or cheese. But what if you were served an omelette so fluffy and gooey that it instantly melted in your mouth? We're not kidding! There's one particular restaurant in Tokyo that has mastered the art of crafting the perfect omelette on a teppan. FYI: Teppans are flat, metal griddles used in the Japanese cooking style called teppanyaki. A food vlogger (space_tamnik) posted a video of this unique omelette preparation on Instagram. The restaurant in question is By The Way, located in Meguro City. The video shows the chef pouring beaten and seasoned egg yolks onto the teppan with skilled precision. Next, a small cut-out portion of a cheese slice is added on top of the smeared yolks. With a spatula, the chef spreads the mixture on the griddle uniformly. After that, the chef folds the sides with a grill spatula. You can see bubbles rising from the middle and the fluffiness taking shape. Once it takes the shape of an omelette, the cook adds shredded cheese to another pan and pours oil. The cheese is then flattened until thick and starchy before being spread evenly on top of the omelette.
