Experts reckon social media fans will back their fave celebs in the BBC show's public votes.
Jean Morlec, from casino comparison site La Planque Du Joueur, said: 'Having so many will prove useful to Dani.
'Much like former Islander Tasha Ghouri, she will see these followers translate to votes. This is where other contestants not as active on social media end up not as lucky — though it shouldn't affect judges' scores'.
Dani, daughter of actor Danny, has 3.7million followers on Instagram and 697,000 on TikTok. George has 64,000 on Insta and 2.3million on TikTok.
Ellie has 84,600 on Insta and Nitro, real name Harry Aikines- Aryeetey, has 47,000 on Insta and 381,000 on TikTok.
Cal Gildart, of Ladbrokes, said: 'Dani is the current pick of this year's Strictly pack.

People say I'm a Short King... I told a girl my height on a dating app and her rejection was horrible

A man who is 5'6 is opening up about the controversial way that he was rejected by a woman - calling it a 'humiliation ritual.' In a viral video posted to TikTok this week by Atlanta-based musician Ian, who goes by the username @ian3snacks, he chronicled an 'embarrassing' experience he recently had while dating. 'Yesterday, I matched with this absolute goddess of a woman, like, just draw-droppingly beautiful,' Ian began. 'I noticed that she's taller than me, which, for queer women, normally that isn't an issue, I'm a short guy, I'm only 5'6, but she was straight, and that tends to be a deal breaker for a lot of straight women, which is not a big deal,' he continued. He joked that he only checks two out of the three 'tall, dark and handsome' boxes that most women are looking for. 'So, per my standard protocol, I DM her, and I say, "Hey, you're stunning, did you see that I am only 5'6?"' he said. In response, the woman said that she didn't happen to see how tall he was on his profile. She then asked Ian if he cared if she was taller than him or even wore heels on their date. 'I think she thought I was gonna get insecure and bail out so that she wouldn't have to be the bad guy, but I hit her with the Uno reverse,' Ian said. 'I said, "Actually, I'm totally comfortable with it, like you do you, just getting to have dinner with you would be compliments enough. Or, otherwise, if you want to politely see yourself out now, no harm, no foul, I get it,"' he continued. After he sent her that message, Ian claimed that she 'immediately' unmatched with him. However, it looks like Ian didn't take it personally. 'This is not a woe is me story, I just like telling funny dating stories,' he explained. In a recent interview with Newsweek, the filmmaker shared that he likes to be as 'upfront as possible' on dating apps. 'Men's height gets talked about enough online that I try to get it out of the way immediately if I suspect it might be an issue that got overlooked,' Ian told the outlet. 'In the same way, I've had curvier women ask me if I was OK with how they look - which I always am,' he continued. 'I just want to make sure that it's clear that this girl is not a bad person. I do not want her [seen] as a shallow-minded villain.' In the comments section, however, people were divided over his tactic, with some revealing they respected his transparency while others suggested he was to blame for the woman's decision to unmatch. 'Not giving short kings a chance is the biggest error of my 20s and 30s,' one person admitted. Another shared, 'Your response would have made me want to date you even more regardless of height!!!!! She's missing out!!!' 'Ladies need to remember that rockstars are always short kings and their model girlfriends are always taller than them. I think it's hot,' someone else typed. Others thought that he may have given her the 'ick' by asking about his height - and then giving her the opportunity to bow out of the match. 'Listen! You gave her the ick with the 'if you want to see yourself out now' I'm telling you ! That's what it was. It showed you were saying you weren't worthy,' one TikTok user wrote. 'Ok, I don't think she bounced because of your height. When she asked if you were cool with heels, just say yes and go on the date. Don't ask again. You have more to offer than height,' another echoed. 'As a taller woman, we were bullied relentlessly by boys growing up so that's what might be informing that preference,' someone else agreed.

Match of the Day ready to return for new season but Premier League fans can catch highlights on BBC much earlier

BBC viewers will be able to watch Premier League highlights this season more than two hours before Match of the Day. The iconic Beeb highlights programme is set to return to screens this Saturday. Mark Chapman will host the first show of the post-Gary Lineker era. In addition to Lineker's departure following 26 years in the hotseat, the BBC will be making other changes to its Premier League output. Match of the Day will continue to provide fans with all the match action plus high-profile punditry. But fans will be able to watch just the highlights on BBC iPlayer from 8pm. Despite all the goals and major incidents being available earlier, Beeb chiefs believe that MOTD will still be able to pull in a major viewership. A BBC press release confirmed: "Published live on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app, match highlights from every fixture will drop at 8pm, putting all the biggest moments at fans' fingertips ahead of the expert analysis and in-depth discussion on the main show. "It's a game-changing way to stay connected and fully immersed in the action." Chapman, 51, is set to be the first of Match of the Day's new three rotating presenters to sit in the hotseat. The experienced broadcaster will rotate with Kelly Cates and Gabby Logan throughout the season. Cates, 49, is set to continue her prominent role with Sky Sports alongside her new MOTD duties. Gary Lineker sensationally quits BBC and will not front its 2026 World Cup coverage after anti-Semitism row Per the Telegraph, Match of the Day has managed to pull in a 3.5 million average audience over recent seasons. That is despite plenty of live TV games, streaming and goals being available on social media. Despite Lineker's exit, his right-hand men Alan Shearer and Micah Richards will continue as pundit regulars on Match of the Day. While, as SunSport revealed last month, Wayne Rooney will join the team on a regular basis. 2

King to tell nation sacrifices of VJ Day heroes ‘shall never be forgotten'

In an audio message to the nation, realms and Commonwealth, Charles will reflect on the horrors experienced by prisoners of war and innocent civilians of occupied lands in the region 'whose suffering reminds us that war's true cost extends beyond battlefields, touching every aspect of life'. VJ Day on August 15 marks the anniversary of Japan's surrender to the Allies following the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945, effectively ending the Second World War. The six-minute speech, recorded earlier this month in the Morning Room at Clarence House, echoes and references the historic audio broadcast made by Charles's grandfather King George VI. The monarch will describe how the heroes of VJ Day 'gave us more than freedom; they left us the example of how it can and must be protected', with victory made possible by close collaboration between nations 'across vast distances, faiths and cultural divides'. The then-Prince of Wales at the national service of remembrance marking the 75th anniversary of VJ Day in 2020 (Oli Scarff/PA) Charles will say this demonstrated how 'in times of war and in times of peace, the greatest weapons of all are not the arms you bear but the arms you link'. The service and sacrifice of veterans and those who lost their lives fighting in the conflict 'shall never be forgotten', he will say. The message will be released at 7.30am on Friday ahead of a service of remembrance attended by the King and Queen, Second World War veterans and Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire. Charles was pictured looking serious with his hands clasped as he sat at his desk at his London residence Clarence House, with a microphone angled towards him, as he prepared to read his address. The King at his desk in the Morning Room at Clarence House recording his message to mark the 80th anniversary of VJ Day (Aaron Chown/PA) Friday's televised service, broadcast live by the BBC, will pay tribute to all those who served in the Asia-Pacific theatre, including Burma Star recipients, British Indian Army veterans, former prisoners of war, and those who fought in pivotal battles including Kohima and Imphal in India. The event, hosted by the Royal British Legion in partnership with the Government, will see the King and his wife leave floral tributes, as will other senior figures. A national two-minute silence will conclude with an aerial display by the Red Arrows and the service will draw to a close with a flypast by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, before the King and Queen attend a reception with Second World War veterans.
