Cabot's resignation comes less than a week after Andy Byron, the company's CEO, resigned from his post after being caught embracing Cabot on the jumbotron at Gillette Stadium. The organization released a lengthier statement following his departure.
'As stated previously, Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met,' the company said over the weekend.
'Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted,' the company continued. 'The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO.'
Both Byron and Cabot were put on leave as the incident was investigated, with Astronomer issuing a statement writing that it was 'committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding.'
The Byron-Cabot situation happened as Chris Martin sang his 'The Jumbotron Song,' where he makes up a track on the spot about the people captured in the crowd during the show.'Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy,' Martin joked onstage after the pair ducked and hid after being shown on camera.
The Coldplay camera video has been joked about by other artists, including Liam Gallagher who said cheaters would be safe at Oasis' shows. Do we have any lovebirds in the house? Don't worry, we don't got any of that Coldplay snidey fucking camera shit,' he joked.
At the first Coldplay show since the infidelity incident, Martin reminded the audience that being in the crowd meant they could be filmed. 'We'd like to say hello to some of you in the crowd,' Martin told the audience at Camp Randall Stadium in Wisconsin. 'How we're gonna do that is we're gonna use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen. So please, if you haven't done your makeup, do your makeup now.'

At Kru In Brooklyn, Thai Food Is Expertly Paired With Sake
At Michelin-recognized, James Beard-nominated Kru in Brooklyn, they highlight the harmony between the complex layers of Thai cuisine and the nuanced profiles of sake Chris Ocana/ Kru Brooklyn At Kru in Brooklyn, when lobster tartare folded with peak-season tomatoes, served with a house-made crispy nori— their take on the traditional Thai dish pla goong mang gorn— is set on the table, the recommended beverage pairing is the Ohmine 3grain Summer's Arrival, a light and refreshing seasonal junmai daiginjo from the Yamaguchi prefecture. 'It will cut through the grease and creaminess of the lobster, while still uplifting it in terms of the notes,' describes sake sommelier Paulie Natthanan Nambuddee, referring to the notes of apple, grapefruit, and minerality that come through at the end. These offerings are by the glass, carafe, bottle and flights— which allow for guests to explore different styles. 'Since opening in the fall of 2022, we have always envisioned a sake program at Kru, but we initially focused on wine, where we had more in-house expertise,' explains partner Kiss Sookcharoen. 'That shifted in 2023 when Dean Fuerth—a regular customer-turned-friend and the beverage director at Sushi Nakazawa, as well as a big fan of Chef Ohm's food—proposed a nine-course sake pairing event at Kru. During the fall of 2024, the Japan Food Product Overseas Promotion Center (JFOODO), a Japanese government organization promoting sake outside of Japan, reached out to partner with local restaurants to showcase how sake pairs beautifully with non-Japanese cuisines. Once diners experience the harmony between the complex layers of Thai cuisine and the nuanced profiles of sake, they are often pleasantly surprised—and delighted.' They also compare sake characteristics to wine, which many guests are already familiar with. 'Since we already speak the language of wine at Kru, drawing these parallels helps guests appreciate sake's versatility alongside Thai food. These can range from cutting through richness, complementing aromatics, or offering contrast. At its best, a good pairing adds a layer of surprise to the dining experience.' For the Thai-Chinese egg noodles or mee krob—which at Kru is topped with ricotta cheese and micro herbs—Nambuddee recommends the Heiwa Shuzou "Kid" Haru no Kunpu, an unpasteurized junmai ginjo from Wakayama prefecture, which she describes as having a "soft mouthfeel," and likens to "spring in a bottle." WWE star Naomi announces pregnancy, relinquishes women's championship
WWE star Naomi relinquished the Women's World Championship on Monday as she announced she's pregnant with her first child. Naomi won the title when she cashed in her Money in the Bank contract during a match between Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley at Evolution. She then retained the title at SummerSlam, winning a triple-threat match that included Sky and Ripley. Last week, WWE said she wasn't cleared to compete in a title defense against Sky. It sparked speculation that Naomi could have been injured and may have to be out for a while. However, she appeared on the latest episode of "Monday Night Raw" and announced her personal news. She asked fans to view the videoboard. She and her real-life husband Jimmy Uso appeared on "What's Your Story? With Stephanie McMahon" and he announced they were expecting a child. "I'm pregnant and I'm having a baby," Naomi added. Back in the ring, Naomi was a bit emotional as the WWE fans cheered her on. She was a bit reluctant to relinquish the championship she fought so hard to win back. "I ain't handing you s---," she told RAW general manager Adam Pearce. "My hormones are jumping like a disco. This ain't the time nor place so I advise you to get the hell out of my face." Naomi said the women in the WWE locker room should be thanking Uso because without him they wouldn't have stood a chance of taking the title off of her. However, Naomi laid the championship in the middle of the ring and vacated the belt. "On the bright side, I guess the bloodline continues baby!" she added with her patented maniacal laugh. She vowed that she would come back for the title in "nine months and some change." "Even if I gotta come back breastfeeding with my baby in my arms, I'm coming back to pick up where I left off," she said.
