Fans of EA Sports College Football 26 will see just how tough it is to play at Texas when the game releases on July 10. The toughest places to play rankings were released a couple of weeks before the game's release date.
DKR Texas Memorial Stadium came in at No. 13 in the rankings.
Texas fans will also get to see the rendition of head coach Steve Sarkisian in the game. It is the first time head coaches have been in the game since 2013.

The franchise was revived last year with the release of EA Sports College Football 25. Before then, the last game in the series was NCAA Football 13, featuring former Michigan Wolverines quarterback Denard Robinson on the cover.

The standard cover for this year's game has Alabama Crimson Tide receiver Ryan Williams and Ohio State Buckeyes wideout Jeremiah Smith. The deluxe edition cover showcases fans and players from nearly every school in the game.
The only game Texas lost at home in 2024 was to the Georgia Bulldogs 30-15. The Longhorns then faced the Bulldogs again in the SEC Championship Game.
Texas lost that game 22-19 in overtime and was the No. 5 seed in the College Football Playoff. Sarkisian and company reached the semifinal of the playoff before losing to Ohio State 28-14.
Sarkisian understands the importance of playing in a stadium like Texas', bringing in multiple Lamborghinis into the venue this past weekend for recruiting visits.

Texas can avenge last season's loss in its 2025 season opener against Ohio State. Although not everyone is confident in the Longhorns' abilities.
ESPN's Joe Fortenbaugh predicted a Buckeye win in Texas' first game.
Texas and Ohio State kick off August 30 at Noon ET on Fox.

Next month, the Greenville Drive will welcome its 6 millionth fan through the gates of Fluor Field. "To put the number in perspective, 6 million is roughly the size of metro Atlanta." said a Greenville Drive press release. "Standing shoulder to shoulder in a line, 6 million people would fill the space between New York City and Los Angeles." To commemorate the milestone, the Greenville Drive will celebrate with the local community, choosing seven individuals between July 1 and July 8 to participate in in-game competitions or at random to compete for a chance to be crowned the Honorary 6 Millionth Fan, per the press release. Trans Athletes Find a Refuge: Equestrian Sport
Though he is a professional coach in both archery and equestrian, when it comes to competitions, Carey Norland, a 26-year-old athlete from Eugene, Ore., will participate in only one of the sports: horseback riding. That is because as an archer, Norland, who is nonbinary and uses both they/them and male pronouns, may only compete in the same category he was assigned to at birth: female. On horseback, the rules allow him to compete against a mixed group of riders of all genders. In fact, equestrian is the only recognized Olympic sport where male and female competitors compete against each other. As such, many riding disciplines, like show jumping, dressage and eventing, where riders also jump solid obstacles, have emerged as refuges in a sporting world grappling with questions of whether and how transgender athletes should compete. The debate has led to a slew of new legislation, an executive order and policy debates among other sports governing bodies. 'With riding I participate freely, and I have no problems at all. I know that no one is going to question me about my gender — it's not even addressed in the rule books,' Norland said in an interview this month from his stables in Eugene, where he trains his seven horses. 'It's about the relationship between the rider and the horse; hormones have nothing to do with it.' Weeks after taking office, President Trump signed an executive order barring transgender women and girls from female sports.
