Jeremy Clarkson issues 'good news' to fans after farm hit by devastating tragedy
Jeremy Clarkson and the Diddly Squat team have shared some "good news" ahead of the weekend, following a series of unfortunate events last week and tragedies on the farm.
The former Top Gear presenter, who now stars in the popular Amazon Prime show, Clarkson's Farm, had to deal with his Oxfordshire farm, Diddly Squat, being hit with TB.
To add to the woes, one of the new puppies that his dog Arya gave birth to passed away last week.
Jeremy also revealed that the farm will remain closed for "certainly two months because that's how long we have to wait before we do another test," but reassured fans that the farm shop remained unaffected as "it's only cows that get affected by it".
However, there's a silver lining as the official Instagram page for Jeremy Clarkson's pub, The Farmer's Dog, has now delivered some positive news.
The team announced on social media: "Good news! The weather forecast for the weekend is looking strong - so we've put extra bookings on the decking! Hurry!"
The announcement has led to a flurry of activity from fans eager to secure a booking at the popular pub.
One person responded to the post: "I've been trying to book for this weekend since July 1st."
Another fan commented: "Booked table for Sunday roast," reports the Express.
A third person echoed their sentiments, saying: "Can't wait to be back soon."
Last week, Jeremy shared the distressing news with fans with a sombre update on X, writing: "Bad news from Diddly Squat. We've gone down with TB. Everyone here is absolutely devastated."
Bovine tuberculosis - or bovine TB - is "caused by a bacterium called Mycobacterium bovis (M. bovis), which is closely related to the bacterium that causes human and avian tuberculosis.
The disease is respiratory and can be commonly transmitted "through nose to nose contact and also through contact with saliva, urine, faeces and milk".
The heartbreaking announcement arrived just hours after Kaleb shared devastating news of his own.
He revealed to his followers that thieves had nicked his farming kit, including one of his tractors and a post knocker, used for forcing fence posts deep into the ground.
Clarkson's Farm is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.

Mikey Dalton, 42, and Grace Adams-Short, 39, first crossed paths on the TV programme 19 years ago and remain happily together today. The duo appeared in the memorable seventh series of the reality programme alongside the late Nikki Grahame and Pete Bennett. The pair are also proud parents to six year old Allegra, plus son Atticus, who joined the family in 2022. The couple frequently discuss their plans to eventually show their offspring their Big Brother series, allowing them to witness where their parents first encountered one another and found love, reports the Mirror. "I didn't have any idea that I was going to meet my life partner, my husband, absolutely not. We just thought it was going to be a fun summer. I was 20 years old, it was kind of like a gap year!" Grace revealed during a This Morning interview in 2023. Mikey confessed that it wasn't love at first sight for him, but rather lust. "I was lusting after her, I still remember the outfit you wore going in and the boots and everything. I was lovestruck when I seen her!". Speaking to a local Plymouth newspaper, The Herald, about their swift engagement at the time of their wedding, 23-year-old Grace said: "We got engaged after four months, which may sound quick but we got to know each other so fast on the show, so it felt right for us." The most recent romance in the civilian Big Brother house occurred in 2023, between Jordan Sangha and Henry Southan. Fans were cheering for the pair to become a couple in the house and were left utterly devastated when they announced their split earlier this year. In a statement released on Instagram, Henry wrote: "After a lot of thought, Jordan and I have decided to go our separate ways. "It's incredibly sad, and we're both hurting, but we know it's the right step. We're so grateful for the love and support you've shown us - thank you." Henry added: "Please give us some space as we figure things out privately." Article continues below Jordan also shared his own statement, writing sadly: "An unfortunate announcement. After many times, memories, and precious experience, Henry and I have parted ways. I want to thank everyone who has supported us. We will always remain close friends. Cheers x." In other news, earlier this year, ex-Love Island contestant Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa struck up a close friendship in the Celebrity Big Brother house. Not long after her departure from the show, JoJo announced her split from partner Kath Ebbs, and soon after, she and Chris confirmed their relationship.

Brooklyn Beckham gives insight into secret vow renewal with Nicola Peltz
Brooklyn Beckham has shared details of his 'really cute, really fun' vow renewal with wife Nicola Peltz. 26-year-old Brooklyn and actress Nicola, 30, first tied the knot in 2022 during a lavish ceremony attended by his parents, Victoria and David Beckham. Family relations have apparently become more strained since then, with rumours of an ongoing feud between the couple and his family – including his brothers, Cruz and Romeo. No matter the drama, Brooklyn and Nicola found time to 'celebrate their love' with an intimate vow renewal this month. Confirming the news, a source told Metro: 'This is a moment to celebrate their love and commitment, and to create a meaningful memory together.' Following the discreet ceremony, Brooklyn has given an insight into the big day. Speaking to People, Brooklyn said: 'It was beautiful. We just wanted a really beautiful experience – a really cute memory. 'To be honest, I could renew my vows every single day with her. I think the most important thing that someone can do is find that person that they're going to spend the rest of their life with. 'It definitely shapes you as a person. It was really, really cute. It was really fun.' This comes amid growing speculation that Brooklyn has become increasingly estranged from his family over recent months. Brooklyn's family have yet to address this latest milestone in Brooklyn's life, with tensions growing after he was absent from David's 50th birthday bash this year. The photographer and former model also failed to acknowledge his football legend father's knighthood in June. Brooklyn proposed to Nicola in 2020, after only eight months together. Two years later, and they were married at Nicola's family estate in Palm Beach, Florida. Since getting married, Brooklyn adopted her name into his own, becoming publicly recognised as Brooklyn Peltz Beckham. Rumours of a rift between the families began soon after, amid reports of tension between Nicola and former Spice Girl Victoria, 51. Earlier this month, it was revealed that Brooklyn no longer follows brothers Cruz, 20, and Romeo on social media – while they too have unfollowed his wife. According to an insider for The Sun: 'Brooklyn had no idea until he read about it online. It's possible Romeo and Cruz blocked them, which would make it appear as him no longer following the brothers. More Trending 'He and Nicola certainly didn't unfollow them or block them – they're as confused as anyone else. The first they heard about it was when it was being reported on,' the publication's source reported. However, his father did appear to extend an 'olive branch' this weekend, as Brooklyn took to Instagram to share his spaghetti carbonara recipe. His controversial take on the Italian classic was slammed by many – including celebrity chef Aldo Zilli, who accused him of 'jumping on the cooking bandwagon.' In what some have taken as a show of public support, David quietly liked his son's post. The first sign of a peace offering between the warring Beckhams, perhaps? Got a story?
