Hassan Mousavi, the head of prehospital care emergency services of Bushehr Province, mentioned that a blaze erupted in a methanol tank belonging to the Kaveh Petrochemical Company in Deyr Port in Bushehr Province.
"This incident occurred at 11:30 a.m. local time today," Hassan Mousavi was quoted as saying by IRNA on Wednesday. Injured people were hospitalized.
More deaths are expected to be reported in the coming hours due to the severity of the fire.

8 'Madleen' activists refuse to sign Israeli deportation papers

Madleen (also known as Madeline) set sail for Gaza from Italy's Sicily on June 1, 2025.
