A little while after the scuffle, Tejashwi Yadav reached the venue and addressed the people present there. He vowed that he will work for people from backward classes and tribal communities, adding that their fight was a high fight, reported ANI.
Hailing his father and former Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tejashwi added that during the 90s, his father did not leave any opportunity to give a chance to those who didn't get to participate in politics.
'Lalu Prasad Yadav and we all have always tried to bring all the people of the backward classes or the tribal community into the mainstream. In the 90s, there was not a moment when Lalu Prasad Yadav left any opportunity where people were not given the opportunity to participate in politics…,' he said.
'Now you don't have to worry about anything because your problem is my problem. Your fight will be my fight", Tejashwi Yadav said while addressing the gathering,' he added.
Bihar state assembly elections are due later this year.
Tejashwi Yadav also addressed a press conference later in the day and expressed concern over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls in the state. He claimed that if even one per cent of the voters are not covered under the exercise, it could mean that around 7.9 lakh voters might lose their right to vote.

Even then, his presence infused the movement with unparalleled energy and spirit,' the governor said. His legacy, however, will forever live on in the hearts of those fighting for a healthier and drug-free Punjab, he added. Bihar Polls : Owaisi criticises ECI over voter list revision; rules out joining INDIA bloc
Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], July 15 (ANI): All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi has questioned the authority of the Election Commission of India to determine citizenship of Indian nationals, accusing them of doing 'NRC through back door' over the poll-body's decision to Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls ahead of the Bihar Assembly election. Speaking with ANI, Owaisi said. 'Who gave the ECI the power to determine whether someone is a citizen or not? Our party was the first to say that SIR is NRC through the back door. ' Owaisi also questioned the result of the last SIR conducted in Bihar in 2003 'We demand the number of those BLOs. We will ask our party members to meet those BLOs and ask them where the people from Nepal, Myanmar and Bangladesh are that they are talking about... The SIR was conducted in 2003. How many foreign nationals were revealed at that time?' Owaisi continued his verbal tirade not just on the ruling alliance and ECI but also on the INDIA bloc by ruling out the possibility of joining the alliance and accusing it of suppressing the new leaders. 'One-sided love is not going to happen. The people of Bihar should understand that the accusations that were made against us were based on lies and were made because they do not want a leader of the poor and oppressed people to become their political leadership,' Owaisi said while speaking to ANI. They just want you to remain their slaves, to walk behind them with your head bowed,' Owaisi added. Owaisi expressed his disinterest in joining the INDIA bloc, citing past experiences and accusations against his party as reasons for his decision. AIMIM Bihar president Akhtarul Iman has suggested forming a third front, which Owaisi seems to be considering as a viable alternative. The MP from Hyderabad has announced that AIMIM will contest the elections, focusing on the Seemanchal region, where the party has a strong presence. Positioning his party as an independent political force, Owaisi said AIMIM is prepared to contest the upcoming elections on its own terms and 'form a third front.' He said, 'We will fight our elections well. Our president, Akhtarul Iman, has said that we should try to form a third front. This was an effort from our side. Everything has come before the people of Bihar for a reason.' Bihar Assembly elections are expected to be held later this year in October or November; however, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has not announced an official date. While the NDA, consisting of the BJP, JD(U), and LJP, will once again be looking to continue their stint in Bihar, the INDIA bloc, consisting of the RJD, Congress, and left parties, will be looking to unseat Nitish Kumar. In the current Bihar Assembly of 243 members, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) consists of 131 with the BJP having 80 MLAs, JD(U)-45, HAM(S)-4, with the support of 2 Independent Candidates. The Opposition's INDIA Bloc has a strength of 111 members with RJD leading with 77 MLAs, Congress-19, CPI(ML)-11, CPI(M)-2 and CPI-2. (ANI)

Although born into a humble family, Swami Kalyandev Ji Maharaj's thoughts and actions were extraordinary. He renounced worldly attachments at an early age and embraced a life of spiritual pursuit. This revered saint attained samadhi in the year 2004. 'Throughout his life, he established numerous schools, colleges, and Gurukuls to promote education. In addition to his contributions to education, Swami Ji actively opposed untouchability, caste discrimination, and other social evils, spreading a powerful message of love, equality, and brotherhood. In recognition of his exceptional and selfless service to society, the Government of India honoured Swami Kalyandev Ji Maharaj with the Padma Shri in 1982 and the Padma Bhushan in 2000,' he said. The Haryana CM said that the Swami Kalyan Dev Seva Trust has been established within the ashram to carry forward the legacy of service and compassion. 'Through various welfare initiatives, the trust extends support to the poor, the sick, and the underprivileged. It is actively engaged in the fields of education, healthcare, and social upliftment,' Nayab Saini said. CM Saini urged everyone to take a pledge to contribute towards building the India envisioned by Swami Ji. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also released an Odia book on Shukdev Tirtha. He also announced a grant of Rs 11 lakh for the construction of Haryana Bhawan at Shukdev Tirtha. On this occasion, Swami Omanand Ji Maharaj, in his address, praised the humble nature and compassionate approach of CM Saini. He said, 'The Chief Minister shares a long-standing association with Shukdev Ashram. Swami Ji reflected on India's rich saintly tradition, stating that saints have played a pivotal role not only in awakening spiritual consciousness but also in advancing education, healthcare, and social upliftment across the country.' He said that the life of CM Saini is a reflection of strong moral values and unwavering dedication to public service. Citing the inspiring lives of Lord Buddha and Swami Vivekananda Ji, Swami Omanand emphasised that their devotion to the service of humanity should serve as a guiding light for all of us. He urged everyone to draw inspiration from their ideals and incorporate their values into daily life. On this occasion, Haryana Cabinet Minister Dr Arvind Sharma, Chairman of Shukdev Ashram Trust and former Health Minister ML Ranga, Rajya Sabha MP Ramchandra Jangra, MLA Mithilesh, along with the officials of the trust of the ashram, leaders and devotees from different places of the country were also present.
