EastEnders Tina Carter star shares desperate appeal for help amid devastating family tragedy
EastEnders actress, who played Tina Carter in the soap, has asked fans for help in a heartbreaking post after thieves stole her beloved family pet, which she said is very 'old' and 'disabled'.
An EastEnders actress has shared a desperate cry for help in a heartbreaking update after her beloved pet was stolen by cruel thieves. Lusia Bradshaw-White, who was best known for portraying Tina Carter on the BBC One Soap before her exit in 2020, rose to fame in 1988 as Herte in A Friendship in Vienna.
The 50-year-old then went on to land roles in a number of other shows including Grange Hill, The Bill, Birds of a Feather and Holby City. She later appeared in BBC medical drama Doctors, before landing her role in EastEnders.
Luisa played Tina Carter in the BBC soap for eight years until her character was tragically murdered by serial killer Gray Atkins. In October 2021, Luisa revealed she had strayed away from acting after finding that she no longer enjoyed it.
Since then, she has established a dance school in Hertfordshire where she hosts 'sober raves' and she says it is dance which has led her to finally find her 'calling'.
Luisa shares a lot of her personal life on Instagram but her latest post is a real tear-jerker, the Mirror reports.
Posting to her 96,000 social media followers, the soap star shared a close up snap of her family's Shetland pony as she issued a desperate plea.
She captioned the photo: "PLEASE HELP! Our family Shetland who is disabled has been STOLEN.
"She had never been ridden, and she is old, has never been apart from her mum and she will be extremely stressed and anxious right now. She is a highly sensitive disabled rescue pony.'
Luisa continued to plead with fans as she wrote: 'Please, if anyone sees this and lives in the EAST SUSSEX area… she was taken from Brightling… can you repost and put on your stories so we can get this seen. Thank you in advance.'
Luisa's post was flooded with comments from fans as they sent messages of support.
One person replied: 'Oh nooooo - how awful! I do hope you find her and that she's safely found and back home with you very soon."
Another said: "Praying that you get her back safe and well."
Luisa is yet to provide any updates on the situation but has re-shared her post to her Instagram stories, saying: 'WE NEED HER HOME.'
Aside from her on-screen life, Luisa has been married to her long term partner Annette Yeo since 2015, with their two daughters acting as bridesmaids on their big day.

I wed a Nigerian toyboy 43 years my junior – people think I'm ‘crazy', call me his ‘grandma' & say he's with me for cash
AGE RAGE I wed a Nigerian toyboy 43 years my junior – people think I'm 'crazy', call me his 'grandma' & say he's with me for cash Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A 68-YEAR-OLD woman has revealed that she said 'I Do' with her Nigerian toyboy, who is 43 years her junior. When Kay, 68, and Ablack, 25, first connected on Facebook, they had no idea that a simple social media like would lead to marriage. Revealing all to Truly, on an episode of Love Don't Judge, the couple admitted that they are constantly stared at in the street and Kay has even been accused of being Ablack's 'grandma'. Opening up about how their relationship first blossomed, Kay recognised: "He liked something I posted. He went from somebody who liked my post to my very best friend, I could tell him everything. It just kept getting stronger and stronger." After three failed marriages, Kay was initially 'very leery about being scammed' by the youngster. Not only was the mother called 'crazy' by many, but before long, the couple had tied the knot, with Ablack being Kay's fourth husband. Despite falling in love, the couple constantly face judgement over their age gap, with Kay being 43 years older than Ablack. But Kay beamed: 'I do not feel old when I'm around him. I feel very young, like a teenager.' With Ablack based in Nigeria and Kay over in the US, the pair have had to make the relationship work with the geographical distance. However, Ablack knows that the pair are destined to be, as he acknowledged: "A prophet told me that I'm going to get married to a white woman and here she is.' But although destiny brought them together, not everyone agrees with their relationship, as Ablack said, "Some people say, 'she's old enough to be your mum'. Some say, 'you're married to your grandma', 'she's too old for you'. I'm 20 and my man is 63 - people say he looks like Shrek and I must be in it for the money, but I'd still love him if he was a cleaner 'Anywhere we go, people take pictures of us.' Not only this, but people have even accused Ablack of getting 'married for a US green card'. Be careful girl. Scammers can be 'in love' too! YouTube user Clearly unfazed by the judgement, Kay, who is often referred to as Ablack's 'sugar mummy', said: "I've never felt love like this before. "This is the one I'm supposed to be with, I just had to wait a long time for him to be born. 'He treats me like a Queen. I'm his priority.' The music legend has cancelled several shows in the run-up to to his tea-time set at Glastonbury. Sir Rod Stewart has cancelled a string of concerts in the US as he recovers from flu, ahead of his set at Glastonbury later this month. The music icon is due to play the famous tea-time legends slot at the Somerset festival on Sunday, June 29. The star is scheduled to take centre stage from 3.45pm to 5.15pm, in a Glasto slot having played host to some of the biggest global stars like Shania Twain, Cat Stevens, Diana Ross, and Kylie Minogue. But he announced on Instagram that he was "devastated" to cancel or reschedule his next six US shows, which are due to take place in the next eight days. Sir Rod has cancelled six shows, four of which were to take place in Las Vegas and Stateline, Nevada, as well as two further shows in California that the icon plans to reschedule. However, it appears he is still gunning for the Glastonbury legends slot, insisting he will be back on stage soon. "I have to cancel and reschedule my next six concerts in June as I continue to recover from the flu," the 80-year-old wrote in his statement on Instagram. "So sorry my friends. "I'm devastated and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience to my fans. I'll be back on stage and will see you soon." He signed off "Sir Rod" along with the heartbreak emoji. Stewart also recently revealed that he will reunite with his former Faces bandmate Ronnie Wood for his much-anticipated set at Glastonbury, and has expressed some dissatisfaction at the allocated length of his set. He told That Peter Crouch Podcast he was only due to play for an hour and a quarter on the Pyramid Stage. "But I've asked them 'Please, another 15 minutes' because I play for over two hours every night and it's nothing," he said. The star also confessed that he wished the legendary slot at Glastonbury wasn't nicknamed the 'tea-time slot', although he said he felt he did deserve the title of 'legend', in an interview with Nick Grimshaw and Annie MacManus on the BBC Sounds podcast Sidetracked By Glastonbury. He said: "I don't mind, I think I deserve it. I just wish they wouldn't call it the tea-time slot." Rod also added that all his children have 'bought their own tickets' for the Worthy Farm festival. In 2024, he promised he would not retire but confirmed that his 2025 European and North American shows would bring an end to his "large-scale world tours". Sir Rod's best known solo songs include Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?, Every Beat Of My Heart, and Maggie May. Last month he was presented with a prestigious lifetime achievement award by five of his children at the American Music Awards (AMAs). Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community!
