Liam Gallagher breaks silence on Oasis rehearsals as he sweetly gushes over Noel
The frontman, 52, spent this week playing in the same room as older brother Noel since the sessions began - the first time they have played together in 16 years. But unlike their younger days, when the Champagne Supernova rockers were known to party with Cigarettes & Alcohol, Liam revealed they are staying sober.
Asked how rehearsals are going and what the mood is like, Liam said: 'Yesterday was spiritual. Very professional we're just ripping it up to ras. Were professionals no time for drinking.'
Noel, who has been seen travelling to rehearsals on the tube, previously joined guitarists Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs and Gem Archer and bassist Andy Bell for warm-up rehearsals without Liam. Liam, who arrived at the rehearsals by van and was seen with packets of Lockets and cough syrup, was also asked about Noel, 58, and how it feels to be back alongside him after so many years.
The siblings famously fell out when the band split after they had a backstage fight at a festival in Paris in August 2009. But it appears Liam is determined to not look back in anger as they prepare for the start of the new tour in Cardiff on July 4, before moving on to Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin before further dates around the world.
In an impromptu Q&A session on X, Liam added: 'Noel has been devine. Can't stop staring at him he might have to get a restraining order out on me can't help it.'
Hundreds lodged complaints to Ticketmaster after so-called surge pricing saw entry costs soar past £350-per-person. Resale tickets are going for more than £1,000 each for the opening night.
After more than 15 years apart, brothers Liam and Noel will reunite under the iconic Oasis banner for a globe‑spanning tour - marking their first live performances since the 2009 split.
Kickstarting in July and running through November 2025, the tour features 41 stadium dates across five continents, selling out almost instantly following a frenzy of ticket demand.
The tour kicks off on July 4th and 5th in Cardiff's Principality Stadium, before heading to Manchester's Heaton Park for five massive nights on July 11th, 12th, 16th, 19th, and 20th.
London's Wembley Stadium will host them on July 25th, 26th, and 30th, then again on August 2nd and 3rd, with two additional autumn shows added for September 27th and 28th due to overwhelming demand. Edinburgh joins the celebration with three dates at Murrayfield Stadium on August 8th, 9th, and 12th, while fans in Dublin will welcome the band back to Croke Park in mid-August, with dates still being finalised.

Noel Edmonds reveals he's buying house in the UK after show about his farm in New Zealand is AXED
He has opened up about the 'smiley' part of the country, which is where he plans to buy a house NOEL'S HOUSE PARTY Noel Edmonds reveals he's buying house in the UK after show about his farm in New Zealand is AXED TV presenter Noel Edmonds has bought a new home on the Isle of Man. The former Deal Or No Deal and Noel's House Party host, 76, plans to divide his time between his property, believed to be in the north of the island, and New Zealand. Advertisement 4 Noel Edmonds is buying a house in the UK after his show about his farm in New Zealand was axed Credit: Instagram 4 His Kiwi Adventure show was recently axed Credit: PA He claimed the island's 'massive community spirit' and sense of pride is what attracted him to make the move. 'I came for the very first time three years ago, and when you consider I lived in the UK all my life and I knew where it was geographically, I don't know why I didn't come before,' Noel told Manx Radio. 'I have purchased a property on the island, and I intend to spend some of the year here, but my principal home is New Zealand.' Noel dubbed the island 'the Smile of Man' because 'everyone seems so happy' and people 'look out for each other'. Advertisement He added: 'What's drawn me to the Smile of Man… you're bloody proud of the island, you're proud of the community, and across the water there [in the UK], you don't get that anymore.' It comes after ITV axed his Kiwi Adventure series, which aired in June and followed his life in New Zealand with his fifth wife, Liz. Noel, who moved there in 2018, had reportedly hoped the three-parter would become a fixture on the channel, but it failed to be a ratings hit. A TV insider told The Sun earlier this month: 'It's a blow to Noel as he was convinced he was on to a winning idea. Advertisement 'There was a great buzz around the series and it was well received by both viewers and critics alike. 'But it needed big numbers to spark a follow-up and attracting 1-1.5million per episode just wasn't enough.' Noel Edmonds reunites with 90s sidekick Mr Blobby on Good Morning Britain Sources close to Noel confirmed his disappointment but insisted other major factors were behind the decision — namely, the extreme weather. A source close to Noel told us: 'River Haven has been hit badly by flooding, it's made working on the estate almost impossible. Advertisement 'That would have meant filming would have been seriously hampered.' They added: 'As far as Noel is concerned, the show has been put on ice.' The Sun first revealed Noel was returning to TV last year after signing a £1million deal with the ITV. Over the past year he's been spotted making the most of his time on the Isle of Man, with visits to the Southern Agricultural Show in Ballasalla, the Milntown Estate in Ramsey, and even taking in the action at the infamous TT Races. Advertisement "I love the Isle of Man. I've been here a few times before," Noel said previously. 'This is my first TT – I've always wanted to come, and I live in New Zealand so I've travelled 11,000 miles to be here.' Locals who spotted Noel out and about were quick to notice an unusual quirk about the TV star. He frequently wore mismatched shoes - one light brown lace-up boot and one darker slip-on. The first set photos from the highly anticipated fourth season of Reacher have revealed the look of a brand new cast member Reacher's latest love interest may have been revealed in new set photos from the eagerly awaited fourth season of Prime Video's hit thriller series. Based on the bestselling crime novels by Lee Child, Alan Ritchson stars as the hulking former Military Policeman who now lives a nomadic existence, bringing justice to wrongdoers and crime lords across the United States. The first three seasons have proven a hit for the streamer so far, with the fourth outing based on Child's 2009 book Gone Tomorrow just around the corner. This time, the action kicks off in New York City where Reacher is travelling on a subway train late at night when he sees a passenger who matches the description of a suicide bomber. His decision over whether or not to intervene triggers a series of events that leads him to NYPD homicide detective Theresa Lee, and the pair slowly unravel a conspiracy that could go all the way to Washington. For the small screen adaptation, detective Lee has been renamed Tamara Green and will be portrayed by Sydelle Noel. Netflix subscribers may recognise Noel as Cherry 'Junkchain' Bang, one of the main characters in the streamer's hit TV series GLOW. In the latest set photos, shared on Instagram, Reacher's latest female lead was all smiles in a practical outfit of a pair of black suit trousers and a purple vest. While she beamed at the cameras, Noel also showed off her toned arms in the sleeveless top, proving she'll be a force to be reckoned with in any scuffles Tamara and Reacher find themselves in this season. Fans were ecstatic to get their first-look at the newcomer to the hit thriller series, taking to the comments to welcome Noel to the Reacher universe. More info Tens of thousands of Edinburgh Oasis fans have queued up at Murrayfield ahead of the Gallagher brothers final gig in the capital. Oasis' Supersonic run of shows at the home of Scottish rugby will come to a close tonight with their third show in the capital after the Mancunian rockers played their first show together in Scotland in 16 years on Friday and Saturday, reports The Record. Over 200,000 fans will have attended the sold-out shows once tonight's performance ends and eager oasis-lovers have already began queuing to get the best spot possible before the doors open at 5pm. Around 67,000 more Oasis fans are set to pack the venue tonight. Those queuing have been pictured decked out in Oasis merchandise from bucket hats, which are being sold from vendors outside the stadium, to football shirts branded with the band's logo. Excited fans who have travelled from across the world, including as far as South Korea, spoke to the Record earlier as they waited in line for the "biblical" gig. Civil servant Meeho Lee, 33, and data analyst Ra Young, 31, came from Seoul to witness their favourite band play in Edinburgh. Meeho said: 'I was a huge fan of Oasis since I was a high school student. After I heard they were reuniting, my friend and I got tickets to come here. 'It was a lot of preparation with plane tickets and hotels. It was expensive but it's been worth it. 'Edinburgh is a very attractive city and the beer is delicious.' Support act Richard Ashcroft is set to take the stage at 7pm followed by the main event at 8.15pm. A curfew for fans exiting Murrayfield has been set at 10.30pm. ScotRail is advising fans to make their way promptly to Haymarket station after the show, where a designated holding area is in place on Haymarket Terrace to manage crowds safely and efficiently. They said: "We're encouraging everyone to plan their journey in advance, make the most of the extra services, and soak up the atmosphere of a great night in the capital."
