Danny Dyer and Rivals co-star reunite as they land new role ahead of season 2

EastEnders actor Danny Dyer is set to star in a brand new ITV game show alongside a very familiar Rivals co-star
Danny Dyer has landed a new ITV game show with one of his Rivals co-stars.

The former EastEnders star left fans gobsmacked with his performance in the Disney+ drama, which is set to return for its second series next year.

The saucy series, based on Jilly Cooper's novel, charts the rivalry between David Tennant's Rupert Campbell-Black and Aidan Turner's Tony Baddingham at a telly station in the Cotswolds.

In the role of endearing tech whizz Freddie Jones, who contemplates having an affair with Katherine Parkinson's Lizzie Vereker, Danny bagged the Best Supporting Actor gong at the Royal Television Society Programme Awards earlier this year.
The star-studded cast also includes Alex Hassell from His Dark Materials, Victoria Smurfit from Once Upon A Time, Bella Maclean from Sex Education, and Luke Pasqualino from Skins, reports the Manchester Evening News.
One face that fans were thrilled to see in the series was Emily Atack, who shot to fame on The Inbetweeners, playing aspiring presenter Sarah Stratton.
Following her stint on the Channel 4 sitcom, the former I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here runner-up had primarily focused on theatre and panel shows. However, it was recently confirmed that Danny and Emily are poised to host a new game show titled Nobody's Fool.
The strategic reality quiz, set to broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX in 2026, is billed as 'a unique reality event brimming with drama and deception where the fate of the contestants isn't decided by how smart they are, but how smart their fellow contestants reckon they are'.

Ten contestants from across the UK will be selected to stay in a unique and mischievous Smart House, where they compete in challenges to convince others that they are more intelligent than they may actually be.
To add to the group prize pot, the contestants will take part in daily individual quizzes. However, only the contestants themselves will know how well they have done, and they will decide what information to share with their competitors.

An ITV spokesperson said: "Across the series, the players must determine who is the weakest amongst them and eliminate them. As each of the contestants sets out to prove their worth and value to the rest of the group, can the players suss out who is a genuine asset and who is simply faking in a bid to stay in the game?"
"The show aims to exploit preconceived notions about intelligence, playing on stereotypes and snap judgments to create a cast of characters who will keep viewers guessing."

Speaking of the series, Danny noted: "This is a blinder of a game show and unlike anything I've seen before. Emily and I had a brilliant time making it, and much like the audience at home will be, we were kept guessing right until the very end."
Emily added "It's so exciting to be part of something this new and fresh. The chance to work with Danny again was a no brainer for me. We had such a laugh. Can't wait for everyone to watch, it's an absolute must see."
Sue Murphy, ITV's Director of Factual Entertainment, and Kate Teckman, Head of Development and Commissioning Editor at ITV, labelled Nobody's Fool as an 'innovative reality/quiz crossover show'.
"Danny and Emily are the perfect pairing to host this game of surprise and prejudice, that will no doubt have audiences on the edge of their seats," they hinted.
The brand new series will air on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player next year (2026).

Katie Price breaks her silence amid Peter Andre row and says ‘she refuses to be bullied and gaslit'

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) KATIE Price has hit back at ongoing speculation about her family amid an ongoing war with exes Peter Andre and Alex Reid. The glamour model has been making headlines over the past week amid ongoing rows triggered by the launch of her 18-year-old daughter Princess's new reality show, The Princess Diaries. Shortly afterwards, Peter broke his 16-year silence to speak out against his ex-wife, making public for the first time that the kids were court ordered to live with him since 2019. This then set off a chain of events which included reports she had got into a 'rift' with Princess, her second husband, Alex Reid, making his own public accusations against her. Katie initially responded to Peter's claims with a thinly-veiled post about 'saints and sinners', and a singular statement via a lawyer regarding Alex's claim – which showed her counting wads of cash despite being declared bankrupt. But she broke her silence today on the latest episode of her podcast. The mum-of-five briefly addressed the ongoing trouble with her sister, Sophie – saying she "refuses to be gaslit" and standing by what she said. "It's been full on [this week], but I want people to know: I own my s**t," she told Sophie. "It's very well documented, and I've always said how I've learned from my past. I'd always have a reaction to things, then it would spiral out of control, and this and that, and then spiralling out of control would make more headlines. "I'm so at peace with everything. At. Peace. I don't need to rise to people, and what I say on my podcast is generally my opinion, what I feel, and I don't lie about anything. Nothing." "Everything's in my lawyer's hands now," she continued. "I'm not being bullied or gaslighted anymore from anybody." Princess Andre breaks silence on Peter and Katie's bitter feud after his blistering statement She then couldn't resist a swipe at her exes, stating: "I find people from my past still go beyond about me. It's like, are they all that's obsessed? Just chill out and get on with your own life." However, she did set the record straight about the relationship she has with her two children, 20-year-old son Junior and Princess, 18, whom she shares with Peter, insisting they get on well even if they don't appear on her social media. "I will say one thing: I don't have to go on social media, and always, the amount of times I see Junior, I don't go to Junior, 'Oh Junior, while I'm around your house - and Jasmine - can we all do a picture just to show that I'm round your house and we're doing dinner?' "I don't have to prove it to anyone, because I know. I've been there done that. It's like with Princess, I see her all the time. I don't have to do pictures now all the time." As Sophie credited Princess for being in "good spirits" about the ongoing attention, Katie added: "She knows the score, she knows what it's like, but she also knows, because we always talk, we know that everything's not always what it seems. "I love my kids, and that's all that matters – and they love me." 7 Katie's annoyance at being excluded from Princess's series kickstarted a string of accusations Credit: ITV 7 Alex shared a video of Katie counting wads of cash despite being declared bankrupt Credit: PA 7 Katie told "those in her past" to "get a life" calling them "obsessed" with her Credit: Getty

"I've made peace with that situation now but for a long time it was very difficult to see their life… not that I would wish that on a family." Myleene's shock feud explained Myleene Klass has found herself embroiled in a bitter feud. It all kicked off when she made shock claims about her ex-husband Graham Quinn. The former Hear'say star claimed that she walked in on her ex and a famous woman in the industry "unzipping" each other's clothes. Myleene said the heartbreaking moment happened in her home at her own birthday party. Speaking on We Need To Talk podcast, Myleene said: "It was in my house, it was my party. "They weren't having sex but they were unzipping each other. 'It's not what you think,' but it is what I think. It's the first thing they both said. "I kicked everybody out of the party including his mum and dad." Graham is yet to respond publicly to the accusations. However, it has ignited a feud with fellow noughties popstars, Rochelle Humes and Frankie Bridge. The two Saturdays stars are both former clients of Graham, and have remained friends with him. Friends told The Sun that Myleene's claims about Graham have caused tension between her, Rochelle and Frankie. Shortly after she dropped the cheating bombshell, Frankie then posted a cryptic video, which said that somebody was 'dead to me'. Rochelle then shared a cosy snap with Graham, along with husband Marvin Humes. In a further twist, sources claim that Rochelle gave Myleene's ex a place to stay when she dumped him.
