OMEGA Just Teased an Unreleased James Bond Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph in ‘007 First Light' Trailer

There could be a new edition to the James Bond OMEGA collection on the way as the brand has teased an unreleased version of its Seamaster Professional Diver 300M chronograph in the new '007 First Light' trailer.
While unconfirmed at this stage, the brand has been known to tease upcoming releases in each addition to the James Bond franchise. Now owned by Amazon, this trend looks to continue. This new Seamaster Professional Diver 300M chronograph sports a titanium (or stainless steel) case, black bezel insert, and grey dial, contrasted by a NATO-style strap that mimics the strap on the 'No Time To Die' Seamaster Professional Diver 300M in brown, grey and beige.
If this is indeed a new OMEGA watch in the James Bond series, it will be the first time that 007 has worn an OMEGA Seamaster Professional Diver 300M Chronograph.

The James Bond franchise has always been a catalyst for clever product placement, but each product has always felt true to the purpose of Bond, and not everything is considered a commercial arrangement. Lindy Hemming, the Oscar-winning costume designer behind 'GoldenEye', introduced OMEGA watches to the franchise with a Seamaster Professional Diver 300M sporting a blue dial (ref. 2541.80). She said, 'I was convinced that Commander Bond, a naval man, a diver and a discreet gentleman of the world, would wear the Seamaster with the blue dial.'
'There was no product placement incentive in 1995 whatsoever,' she said. It was actually a choice she made because all of her father's friends were Navy men, and most of them wore OMEGA watches.
While the original OMEGA 'Bond Watch' was a quartz Seamaster Professional 300M, the watch teased in the '007 First Light' trailer is a new Chronograph variant, which is something we've never seen before in a Bond film. Measuring 44 mm in diameter and 17.2 mm in thickness, the self-winding Calibre 9900 movement inside offers 60 hours of power reserve, while the date window sits at 6 o'clock.

While the standard Seamaster Chronograph above features a black dial, bezel, and sub-dials, the watch teased in the '007 First Light' trailer appears to carry across the brown, grey and beige colours from the currently available No Time To Die Seamaster in Grade 2 Titanium. The teaser watch also features white indices, a black ceramic bezel, a grey dial, and beige on the right-side subdial, which likely features the same rhodium-plated subdial hands.

We also see a case of watches teased in the trailer, which appear to house a variety of different OMEGA Seamaster 300M references. Some of these feature rubber straps, while others appear to feature NATO-style fabric.
It's also interesting to see that James Bond appears to wear several different watches and that most of them don't have chronograph pushes on the right-hand side of the case. This means it's likely that we'll see more than just one OMEGA watch in the videogame.
While details about a special edition '007 First Light' OMEGA Seamaster are scarce, more information will likely be shared closer to the game's release date, which is scheduled for some time in 2026.
