After just seven years of playing in the NFL, Detroit Lions offensive lineman Frank Ragnow has announced his retirement.
Ragnow had been in a contract dispute with the Lions for a number of months following their season ending in the NFC Divisional round to the Washington Commanders.
Now, at age 29, Ragnow revealed in an Instagram post that he would be ending his career.

Balloting opens for MLB All-Star Game in Atlanta
June 4 - Voting got underway Wednesday for the 2025 Major League Baseball All-Star Game on July 15 in Atlanta. The 95th Midsummer Classic will be the first at Truist Park and the third played in Atlanta (1972, 2000). The American League All-Stars have won the last two years to extend their series lead to 48-44-2. The first round of voting runs through June 26, with fans allowed to submit up to five ballots online and via mobile devices at team websites and through the MLB Ballpark App. On June 26, the top two vote-getters at each position -- including the top six outfielders -- in each league will be revealed on MLB Network. Those players advance to the second phase of voting to determine the All-Star starters. That round of balloting is from June 30 to July 2, with fans allowed to vote once per day. The starters will be announced on ESPN at 7 p.m. ET on July 2. Royals-Cards rescheduled (rain) as part of doubleheader Thursday
June 4 - The St. Louis Cardinals' home contest against the Kansas City Royals originally set for Wednesday evening has been rescheduled due to rain. The matchup has been bumped to Thursday, now the opener of a split doubleheader. The originally scheduled Thursday game (6:45 p.m. CT) will occur as slated. Wednesday's game will now take place as Game 1 Thursday, scheduled for 12:45 p.m. CT. The Royals took Game 1 of the three-game series Tuesday night 10-7. The Cardinals won two of three games in Kansas City on May 16-18. Kansas City was scheduled to start rookie left-hander Noah Cameron (2-1, 1.05 ERA) on Wednesday. He has pitched into the seventh inning in all four of his starts this season. Right-hander Miles Mikolas (4-2, 3.90 ERA) was to draw Wednesday's start for St. Louis. He was 3-0 with a 3.08 ERA in five starts in May. Starters for the early game haven't been announced. Barring the signing of free agent Aaron Rodgers, Rudolph is in line to be the starting quarterback for the Steelers in 2025 following the departures of Russell Wilson and Justin Fields. Rudolph is 9-8-1 as an NFL starter, completing 63.7 percent of his passes for 4,615 yards with 28 touchdowns and 20 interceptions for the Steelers (2019-21, 2023) and Tennessee Titans (2024).
