The digital-exclusive offer is available from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time, and you must be a Whataburger Rewards member, the restaurant said.

The classic hamburger features a large beef patty topped with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions and mustard all served on a toasted bun, according to its website.
It marks the return of National Whataburger Day as the brand, known for its made-to-order burgers, celebrates its 75th anniversary with new and returning favorites. On Aug. 5, it launched the limited time Bacon Wrangler Double alongside a new fruit-forward take on its classic Dr Pepper milkshake.
'Whataburger's story has always been one about people — the fans who've made us part of their everyday moments, the Family Members who serve every meal with care and pride, and the communities that have welcomed us like family for 75 years,' Debbie Stroud, president and CEO of Whataburger, said in the release.
The chain now operates more than 1,110 stores in 17 states, according to its website.
'This anniversary is our way of saying thank you,' Stroud said.

The mall food court is coming directly to your door, courtesy of drones
BY Listen to this Article More info 0:00 / 2:18 The delivery app DoorDash and the Alphabet-owned drone company Wing are bringing mall food court favorites to select doorsteps as they expand their drone delivery program. The companies recently announced that they were partnering with GoTo Foods, the parent company behind shopping mall brands like Auntie Anne's, Jamba, and Schlotzsky's, to deliver orders by drone to select areas in Frisco, Fort Worth, and Plano, Texas. It's DoorDash's latest push into delivery by air after announcing in March it would launch a drone delivery pilot program with Wing for select Wendy's items in Christiansburg, Virginia, and also a sign that the company sees more room for growth. DoorDash said it began offering drone delivery for Papa Johns and The Brass Tap during limited hours of operation in parts of Little Elm and Frisco, Texas, in June, and now its partnership with GoTo Foods takes that pilot program further. 'As we continue scaling our drone operations, we remain focused on building a world-class logistics platform that enables partners like Wing to integrate seamlessly into our ecosystem; provides a smooth, reliable delivery experience for merchants; and offers consumers fast and affordable access to brands they love,' DoorDash's drone program head Harrison Shih said in a statement. For now, drone delivery is limited to just a 4-mile radius of participating locations, but for those who live in the radius, DoorDash promises delivery within minutes of ordering. The company has leaned into robotic delivery outside of drones with Coco, a delivery robot it began testing earlier this year in Los Angeles and Chicago. And in May, it bought the British delivery app Deliveroo for $3.9 billion. DoorDash reported more than $3 billion in quarterly revenue in the most recent quarter, up nearly 25% from the same time last year, according to PitchBook data. For GoTo Foods, the partnership with DoorDash is a chance to take its brand out of the shopping mall and to reinvent it for a new generation at a time when malls are changing. Thanks to drones, food court pretzels could be more easily accessible to 'high-growth suburban areas' that are 'well beyond traditional mall locations,' the two companies said in a press release. You used to go to the mall. The mall now comes to you. The early-rate deadline for Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies Awards is Friday, September 5, at 11:59 p.m. PT. Apply today.

Livingstone gets another $10 million, claims premier private HBCU in NC
SALISBURY, NC - Livingstone College has made waves in the HBCU world and by big contributions from an anonymous donor. Add another one to the total. For the third time in just over a year, Livingstone College has received a $10 million donation from a sole anonymous benefactor-further fueling its push to be recognized as the premier private HBCU in North Carolina. The Salisbury-based HBCU has now secured more than $60 million from the same donor, a level of philanthropic support unmatched by any other private HBCU in the state. President Dr. Anthony J. Davis calls the series of gifts part of the "Miracle on Monroe Street," a multi-phase campus transformation that has already modernized key facilities and is poised to expand even further. "Everyone can look and see that we've invested every dollar, every dime into renovating this campus," Davis said. "Now we are the premier private HBCU in North Carolina, creating an experience that is second to none for our students." Philanthropy Driving Growth The latest gift will help advance the next stages of campus revitalization, including planned upgrades to Goler Hall and Honors Hall. Combined with more than $40 million in private fundraising over the past two fiscal years, these investments have positioned Livingstone to grow faster than any other private HBCU in the state. Enrollment has surged from 221 freshmen just two years ago to an expected 500 this fall, with overall growth creating new housing and facilities needs. "We're one of the fastest-growing HBCUs in the country," Davis said. "It's a good problem to have, but it means we have to think creatively about how to house our students." Retention Through Student Experience Among the most visible recent upgrades is Aggrey Cafeteria, now transformed into the Luxe Life Café and operated by Thompson Hospitality. Davis frames the dining overhaul as a central piece of the college's retention strategy, alongside residential improvements. "It's part of our retention model-creating a student experience that is second to none," he said. "While we're enhancing the student experience, we take care of where they sleep and where they eat. They want to be here at Livingstone College." That approach is producing results. Livingstone boasts a 92 percent return rate for upperclassmen and a 78 percent freshman retention rate. Those figures compare favorably with top-tier institutions, public or private. Defining the Premier Private HBCU Making the claim to be the premier private HBCU in North Carolina is no small feat. That landscape that includes Johnson C. Smith, Bennett College, Shaw University and Saint Augustine's University. Livingstone's mix of bold fundraising, rapid enrollment growth, and student-focused upgrades is setting a new standard. As the "Miracle on Monroe Street" continues, Davis and his team are aiming to ensure the college's place at the forefront of North Carolina's private HBCUs for years to come.
