Angel Guardian is the newest host-mate of 'Unang Hirit!'
On Monday's episode of the Kapuso morning show, the 'Sang'gre' star was announced as an additional host-mate alongside Josh Ford, Michael Sager, and Winwyn Marquez.
Angel is set to star as Deia in the upcoming 'Encantadia' spinoff series, 'Sang'gre.'
She will be joined by Bianca Umali as Terra, Kelvin Miranda as Adamus, and Faith Da Silva as Flamarra.

"I wanna thank all of you so much for making this little Hawaiian-Ukrainian-Filipino girl's dream come true. I'm so proud to present," she said. "Growing up I always felt like I didn't belong but you all made me feel like I belong and I have come home. At last. So it there's anyone out there who feels like they don't belong or that their time hasn't come up yet, don't give up. Just keep giving and giving because the world needs your love and your light now more than ever" she added. According to an earlier Instagram post, she will be extending her run for another week until July 20. Darren meanwhile took home the Tony trophy for Best Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of a retired robot in "Maybe Happy Ending." The play incidentally also won five other Tony awards including Best Musical. Other notable awardees this year includes "Succession" actress Sarah Snook who took home Best Actress in Play for her work in "The Picture of Dorian Gray." Lea Salonga is back at the prestigious Tony Awards as part of the star-studded lineup of presenters for the 78th edition of the award-giving body. On Instagram, the Filipina theater legend shared a photo of herself posing beside her seat, where it was indicated that she was a presenter. "Me and me," she captioned the photo tagging the official account of the Tony Awards. This isn't the first time Lea has become a presenter at the Tony Awards. In 2021, she served the same role and notably took selfies with celebrities. Lea won a Tony Award in 1991 for her "Miss Saigon" performance as Kim, making her the first Filipino and Asian to receive such recognition. In April, Lea was named an honoree at the Drama League Awards 2025, where she received the Distinguished Achievement in Musical Theater. She was also nominated for the Distinguished Performance Award for "Stephen Sondheim's Old Friends." Lea is set to star in the Philippine staging of "Into the Woods" in August. At Sunday's media conference for "Sang'gre," Gabbi Garcia, Glaiza de Castro, and Sanya Lopez gave a sneak peek back into their roles as Pirena, Alena, and Danaya as they, once again, donned their official outfits. On Instagram, the Kapuso It Girl shared some portraits with Glaiza and Sanya at the event, noting in the caption that they missed Kylie Padilla, who played Amihan. "One a Sang'gre, always a Sang'gre," she wrote. "Sisterhood for life!" In the comment section, Kylie nodded at Gabbi's post and wrote, "My sisters."
