NOTTINGHAM Forest have opened talks to tie down Callum Hudson-Odoi to a new deal as Roma, Napoli and Manchester United circle.
The 24-year-old winger lit up the City Ground last season with a string of dazzling displays, bagging five goals and three assists to help Forest qualify for Europe.

It's the first time in 30 years that Forest have secured a European spot.
Now SunSport has been told the club's top brass are desperate to keep their star man out of the clutches of Europe's elite.
Hudson-Odoi arrived from Chelsea in a cut-price £5m deal two seasons ago and now has just one year left on his current contract.
Sunsport understands Manchester United enquired about him in January and were met with a firm 'no.
Italian giants Roma and Napoli are sniffing around this summer for the three-time capped England international.
And United are believed to be monitoring developments closely under new boss Ruben Amorim, who's keen to add pace and creativity to his wide options.
Forest are refusing to budge though and believe Hudson-Odoi sees his future at the club especially with Nuno Espirito Santo backed to spend big for their European adventure.
Club chiefs are ready to reward Odoi with a big-money extension to fend off the growing interest.

A source close to the player told The Sun: 'Talks are ongoing and Forest have presented him with a new deal.
'But let's see, because there is also interest from clubs abroad like Napoli and Roma but it's early days.
'He was really happy with his season but obviously the hamstring injury at the end was disappointing.
'He believes he could have helped more but for that so let's see if he'll be happy with the deal presented or not.'

Hudson-Odoi came through the ranks at Chelsea where he made 156 appearances before spending the 2022/2023 season out on loan at Bayer Leverkusen.
Forest then beat Fulham to his signature the following season as he penned a three year deal to move to the City Ground where he's enjoyed a revival.

The result of that was there for all to see here as the England midfielder produced an outstanding, influential display. He even found time for some crowd-pleasing touches as he oozed confidence. Gibbs-White was given a standing ovation by Forest fans when he was subbed with seven minutes to go. His work was done as Forest had this game won by half-time. Seasoned striker Chris Wood carried on his form from last season with two goals - the first coming after just five minutes. And new signing Dan Ndoye grabbed a debut goal - a diving header from Gibbs-White's teasing cross. That was with £70million worth of new signings in the stands as James McAtee, from Manchester City, and Omari Hutchinson, who left Ipswich for Forest, were paraded in front of fans before the game. He went to great lengths to say not enough signings had been made this summer. But three new faces later - along with this dominant display by Forest - and life seems a whole lot brighter for Nuno. New Bees boss Andrews will be at the other end of the scale though. If he thought stepping into Thomas Frank's shoes would be difficult, he found out just how hard it going to be at the City Ground. Brentford managed to pull a goal back with 12 minutes to go through Igor Thiago's penalty after Ibrahim Sangare was ruled to have handled in the area by ref Peter Bankes. That was after VAR denied Forest a spot-kick for a similar offence before the break. Gibbs-White and Elliot Anderson drove Forest's performance from midfield and Brentford had few answers. Wood started the ball rolling when he pounced on a loose ball from Anderson's corner. Forest had to wait for their second goal, but it came four minutes before the break when Ndoye's header looped in - allowing the Swiss player to show off his 'lion' celebration. But Forest's third came from a quite superb pass from Anderson - and it was a thing of beauty. The ball was given away by Sepp van den Berg and Anderson reacted with a first-time, defence-splitting pass for Wood who took the ball around Bees keeper Caoimhin Kelleher before the Kiwi scored his second goal of the day.

Forgotten Man Utd star offered surprising exit option after brutal Ruben Amorim call

Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has shown a number of senior stars what he thinks about their future and that could lead to yet another summer departure Jadon Sancho might not be the only player moving from Manchester United to Roma this summer, it has been claimed. The Italian club, who previously had ex-United manager Jose Mourinho at the helm, have also been linked with out-of-favour left-back Tyrell Malacia. ‌ Former Feyenoord defender Malacia has struggled for minutes since returning from a long spell out through injury. The Dutch international ended last season on loan at PSV Eindhoven, but the Eredivisie champions haven't made the move permanent. ‌ United head coach Ruben Amorim doesn't appear to see a future at Old Trafford for Malacia, leaving him out of United's pre-season tour while working to seal an exit. Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho and Antony were also left at home, with Rashford already completing a loan move to Barcelona. ‌ Sancho had been linked with Juventus earlier in the summer, with their Serie A rivals also in the mix. And now, according to reports from the continent, Roma have enquired about Malacia during discussions over a potiential Sancho swoop. Roma aren't the only ones keeping tabs on Malacia, either. Besiktas have also been mentioned, with former United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer potentially linking up with Erik ten Hag's first United signing. Malacia was not part of United's matchday squad for their Premier League opener against Arsenal on Sunday. Patrick Dorgu was picked to start at left wing-back while Luke Shaw - another option in the position - took his place as the left-most of Amorim's three centre-backs. New signings Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo started, though there was no place for young left-back Diego Leon after his summer move. Benjamin Sesko, who joined a week ago but didn't feature in United's pre-season programme, started on the bench. This is despite Amorim indicating in the lead-up to the game that the Slovenian was in consideration to start. "Of course. We didn't have a lot of time but he's ready," the boss said. ‌ "First of all, physically, he's ready. That is a big component in our league. Then, he's really smart. Every detail he asks, he's a guy that is always thinking. He spends all afternoon here working on his fitness, so he's ready to play, we will see if he's going to start." United have secured a number of loan exits during the summer window but are still waiting to complete a first significant sale. Rasmus Hojlund could be the first to leave for a fee, having been left out of the squad for Sunday's opener. In the lead-up to the Arsenal clash, midfielder Toby Collyer completed a season-long loan move to West Bromwich Albion. The young midfielder made his Baggies debut from the bench on Saturday as they beat Wrexham 3-2.

Disbelief coursed around all corners of Easter Road as the Hibs faithful celebrated one of the most stunning strikes witnessed at their famous old home. With their participation in this season's UEFA Conference League in the balance after Partizan wiped out David Gray's side's two-goal first leg advantage, Scotland striker Kieron Bowie found himself around 40 yards from goal and took centre stage in a pulsating tie. With several options around him, the former Fulham man wasted little time in trying his luck from distance and sent a powerful, looping volley over visitors goalkeeper Marko Milosevic and into his net via the far post. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad The reaction of team-mate Martin Boyle said it all as the Australia international put his hands on his head in utter disbelief over what he had witnessed from Bowie. It was far from the final act in a pulsating night at Easter Road - but it did prove to be a defining moment as it set the foundations for Hibs to progress into a play-off round tie with Legia Warsaw as the two sides meet in the first leg later this week. For pundit Andy Walker, who had a short loan spell at Hibs during his playing career, Bowie's strike was 'sensational' and the former Celtic and Sheffield United striker expressed his hope that David Gray's men could secure safe passage into the league phase of UEFA's tertiary club competition. He told Go Radio: 'I said earlier this week, I don't think I would see a better goal than Ben Brannan, the Kilmarnock volley that was absolutely outrageous. And that one last night from Kieran Bowie. Sensational stuff. So certainly it looks as though Easter Road is a place to be to see some special goals. It'll be a great tie against Legia Warsaw. I really hope Hibs can make that step. I just love to see any of the Scottish clubs that are involved in Europe getting involved in the group stages, the guaranteed European football that takes you up to Christmas and beyond. It's exactly what the players want. The players will learn a lot from it, just as the managers and all the coaching staff will as well.' What did David Gray say about Kieron Bowe's goal for Hibs against Partizan? Hibs head coach David Gray celebrates at the full time whistle | SNS Group Speaking after the game, the Hibs boss said: 'It's a good clearance. No, as I say, take his goal out of it, he was exceptional tonight. Everything he did from the first second onwards, he was a real handful. Everything we've spoken about Kieron before was there again to see. His goal was a special goal for a special night. I spoke about if you win the game tonight, it would be a special night. It doesn't matter how you get through, it would be a special occasion. It was great a goal, probably unfortunate that didn't actually win us the game there and then. So I'm delighted for him on a personal level because of what he's been through.'
