The day started with Sharon (Sharon Case) voicing concern over Mariah (Camryn Grimes) shutting her and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) out, only for Nick (Joshua Morrow) to share an unexpected detail about his latest assignment. At Victor's (Eric Braeden) urging, he's to 'buddy up' to Cane (Billy Flynn) as part of a larger Newman plan. Sharon wasn't exactly reassured—and yet, the conversation soon turned personal.
Sharon admitted she felt closer to Nick than she had in a long time, then asked if he felt the same. Nick answered without words, leaning in for a kiss that would have continued what started in France… until Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) walked in and cut the moment short.
The Victor Factor

Nick's growing role as Victor's 'good cop' in the Newman scheme to manipulate Cane ties him to a web of corporate games Sharon has no love for. She says it was wonderful Jill could be there to support Nina (Why can't we have nice things?). Lauren says Chance died like he lived, a true hero. They chat more about his death when Lauren says Cane is back in Genoa City… with a vengeance. Y&R's Bryton James is Ready for Another BTG Crossover
The crossover was a hit. Fans of The Young and the Restless and Beyond the Gates loved watching Devon Hamilton in Fairmont Crest. Bryton James had fun as well, even though he got first-day nerves. But he's ready for another return. First Day Jitters James brought Devon Hamilton to Fairmont Crest for a special episode. He gave Anita (Tamara Tunie) an intriguing offer: the opportunity to record her own jazz album, which she would also produce. Devon exuded cool and calm confidence. But on the inside, James had butterflies, reports Soap Opera Digest. READ THIS: Do Y&R's Devon and BTG's Bill share more than a last name? 'I was really nervous about not messing up,' James told EW. 'It's kind of [about] representing Y&R in the best way, and being my best for [Tunie and Davis], you know, being the focal points of the show. But they made me feel good.' Ready For Another Return?
