Nick Jonas' Latest Hot Take: 'I Think Beds Are for Sleeping Only'
When describing his non-negotiable rule in the bedroom with his wife, Priyanka Chopra-Jonas, Nick admitted, 'I think beds are for sleeping only,' adding, 'I don't sit on the bed. I don't eat on the bed. I don't read a book in bed or watch TV. I can't do it.' he continued.
Though the show's host, Brianna Morales, quipped that he was 'robbing [him]self of one of the greatest pleasures in life,' Nick said he had good reason for this strict stance: 'I just don't like it to get warm. I run hot…It's a whole thing.'
So...how does Nick use the TV in his bedroom if he doesn't lie in bed to watch? 'My wife watches it,' he said, adding, 'I'll pull a seat up and sit next to the bed.' (Dare we say…this is truly such Virgo behavior on his part.)
Naturally, fans were shook by Nick's confession, and they voiced their opinions in the episode's comments section. 'Noooo it's giving NOT OKAY 😭 wdym he sits on a chair next to the bed to watch tv????' one fan wrote, referencing the show's premise of checking to see if guests are doing well.
Another added, 'To be honest, the chair thing would be a motive of discussions in the relationship 😭 like, I need to cuddle and sometimes that leads you to other things.'
Joe Jonas appeared on the show the following day, where he gave polar opposite energy to his younger brother. He revealed that he took his ~bedroom activities~ to an airplane bathroom a few years ago, when he joined the Mile High Club and endured an 'embarrassing' moment afterward.
'I was wearing contacts, left the bathroom. I thought I was high-fiving my drummer,' he explained on the August 19 episode of Are You Okay? 'After the high-five, I realized it was the flight attendant.'
Luckily, he was in the clear, as he was on a private jet. 'It was a private plane,' he confirmed. 'Otherwise, I'd be banned from flying.' But...was the awkward encounter worth it? According to the 'Cake by the Ocean' hitmaker, it fully was.
Truly, there's so much to unpack here.

"I joined the Mile High Club a couple years ago," he said, adding that he was wearing his contact lenses, so he ended up accidentally giving the flight attendant a high five when he finished. "When I left the bathroom, I thought I was high-fiving my drummer," Jonas revealed. "Was it worth it?" asked the host. "Oh yeah," he responded. Jonas revealed that he joined the Mile High Club on a "private plane." Thus, he said, he wasn't banned from flying as a result. He didn't reveal the name of the other participant or when exactly the experience occurred. Jonas also said in the video that he once received 67 stitches between his eyebrows, but that had nothing to do with the airplane experience. The stitches eliminated his "unibrow," Jonas said in the video. He tripped on a shoelace and "cut my face" open on a tour while running through a wall, Jonas said in the video. When asked, Jonas also said he wanted to swap places with the camera operator at the Coldplay concert or actor Danny DeVito. 'I'll pull up a seat and sit next to the bed': Nick Jonas refuses to watch TV in bed
Nick Jonas has a strict no-TV-in-bed policy. The Jonas Brothers star, 32, has admitted that if his actress wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas, 43, is ever lounging under the covers catching up on her favourite shows, he'll perch in a nearby chair because he cannot stand getting "warm" in bed. Appearing on the TikTok show Are You Okay?, he was asked what his "beige flag is", to which he replied: 'I think beds are for sleeping only. 'I don't sit on the bed, I don't eat on the bed, I don't read a book on the bed or watch TV. I can't do it.' Asked why, he said: 'I run hot. It's a whole thing.' But if Priyanka is already in bed watching TV, he noted: 'I'll pull a seat up and sit next to the bed." When it comes to love-making, Priyanka recently revealed she has "mandatory snuggles" with her spouse every Sunday morning, and they ensure they get intimate at least once a week. She told PEOPLE: "Sunday morning snuggles in bed. They have to happen. It's mandatory." The Love Again star - who has three-year-old daughter Malti Marie with Nick - was then asked what brings her "peace" in life and admitted that just staying at home with her loved ones is the "biggest luxury" she has. She said: "Being home with my family. … The biggest luxury in our lives is being able to waste time together or spend time together and just be languid in it and not worry about having to go somewhere." But Priyanka also admitted that she also enjoys indulging herself in reality television when she is meant to be reading scripts for work. She said: "That one hour you might get when it's quiet in the house and you get to watch Love Island's new season with a glass of wine or maybe even a book [when] I am supposed to be reading my scripts.' And when it comes to having guests over to watch a movie, Priyanka likes to "scavenge the fridge" herself while she has the chance. She said: "I do scavenge the fridge at night. I am that person … a big snacker "I want to make sure I get the snack scavenging in while everyone's distracted with the movie because you can't do it after. If you do it after, there's too much attention on you: 'What are you eating?' And then everybody wants to eat and it becomes a meal and then I'm heating up food. You've got to sneak out during a really important part of the movie. So that's what I do.'
