Posting a video of herself practicing some footwork on Monday (11 August), the 62-year-old actor sung the show's theme tune before looking at the camera and saying: "Strictly… just dancing.'
In the post's caption, she wrote: 'Hello sweeties… Spoilers are out! I'm getting ready to shake my hips all the way to a glitter ball trophy. Strictly 2025 here I come!!'
Kingston was the second celebrity announced as part of the this year's cast for the hit dancing show, which returns to screens Autumn 2025.

A venue that hosted a three-day music festival that left fans queuing for hours to leave could lose its licence due to public safety Police said Chelmsford City Racecourse's licence to put on live music and sell alcohol was currently under review. About 25,000 fans descended on the venue for Chelmsford City Live in July to see 10-time Grammy winner Justin Timberlake and a host of music stars take to the stage.A spokesperson from Chelmsford City Racecourse said: "We've consistently demonstrated a commitment to operating within the parameters of our licence, with robust measures in place to ensure safety, compliance, and responsible event management." They added: "We look forward to working alongside local authorities on how to continue effectively delivering great events within our existing conditions." After the festival, frustrated concert-goers said it had taken several hours to leave car parks as streams of vehicles queued for exits. One post claimed people were "stranded in a field".The licence which allows the venue to sell alcohol and put on live music is being reviewed due to concerns of crime and public disorder, public safety - and that events caused a public nuisance.A hearing will take place in the next three weeks, when a decision will be made to amend or revoke its final decision will not have an impact on the racing calendar, said a spokesperson from Chelmsford City Council. Jimmy Kimmel has revealed he acquired Italian citizenship due to Donald Trump's presidency, the latest in a wave of celebrities to make contingency plans after his re-election in 2024. Speaking on The Sarah Silverman Podcast, the US late night host confirmed the news. Italian news agency Ansa confirmed that Kimmel had obtained Italian citizenship earlier this year after proving his ancestral lineage. 'A lot of people I know are thinking about, where are they going to get citizenship?' Silverman said, of the wider exodus in response to Trump's re-election. 'I did get Italian citizenship,' Kimmel said. 'What's going on is as bad as you thought it was gonna be. It's so much worse – it's just unbelievable. I feel like it's probably even worse than he would like it to be.'
