The incident took place shortly after she suffered a mid-performance wardrobe malfunction — losing her skirt onstage — during her show in Poland on July 25Jennifer Lopez isn't one to bug out — even when an insect is on her mid-performance.
The singer, 56, was performing during the latest show of her Up All Night: Live in 2025 tour in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on Sunday, Aug. 10, when a large cricket crawled up her dress.
As she stood before a microphone singing to fans, the creature could be seen making its way up Lopez's body, then moving to her neck.
Ever the pro, the mom of two didn't miss a note, and instead quickly grabbed the cricket, throwing it to the side of the stage.
"It was tickling me," a smiling Lopez said to fans in front of her, then continuing to perform.

In video footage of the moment shared online by Lopez's official fan account, the caption joked, "Plot twist: @JLo just started rehearsals for Kiss of the Cricket Woman … on stage … in real time. 😂💋🦗."
The "Kiss of the Cricket Woman" mention was a play on Lopez's upcoming project, Kiss of the Spider Woman, a new film adaptation of the 1993 Broadway classic that the multi-hyphenate stars in, out this fall.

In the comments section, Lopez's fans praised the singer for not missing a moment of the show, all while staying calm and cool.
"Always a professional," one supporter wrote, as another said, "Really fun moment but so professional at the same time! 🦗✨." Added one other: "Handled it so well, I would have collapsed right there 😂🤍👏🏻."
Lopez's latest onstage mishap took place shortly after she suffered a mid-performance wardrobe malfunction while she was in Warsaw, Poland, on July 25.
During her show at the PGE Narodowy stadium, Lopez thanked fans for coming out to see her, when a glittery skirt she was wearing randomly snapped off her body and fell to the stage floor.

The hitmaker played the incident off, smiling big and strutting around the stage with her arms in the air, and she even pulled off a little spin, as seen in video shared on her official YouTube channel, as well as by fans on Instagram.
"I'm out here in my underwear," Lopez joked, as a dancer approached her with the skirt and attempted to put it back on. "That's gonna be everywhere."
"I'm glad that they reinforced that costume," she later said. "And I'm glad I had underwear on. I don't usually wear underwear."
