PFLP salutes Chilean president's position on banning arms imports from occupying entity

Saba Yemen2 days ago

Gaza - (Saba):
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) on Monday praised the Chilean president's position on banning arms imports from the Zionist entity, describing it as a courageous step to isolate it and hold its leaders accountable.
In a statement seen by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the PFLP praised "the courageous position of the Chilean president, who accused the Zionist entity of committing crimes of ethnic cleansing, announced a ban on arms imports from it, and affirmed his country's involvement in international judicial efforts to hold it accountable."
The PFLP stated that these bold positions reflect the consistent approach taken by the Chilean president, who has always declared his support for Palestine and its just cause.
The PFLP stressed the need for these measures to escalate toward a comprehensive boycott of the Zionist entity and the severing of all ties with it, considering it a functional colonial entity based on genocide, Judaization, and settlement. It must be isolated, boycotted, and its leaders prosecuted as war criminals, as part of the effort to expel it from Palestine and the region.
She called on "the leaders of the world and all free peoples to follow in the footsteps of the Chilean president and adopt similar positions, if they truly want to stop the massacres, genocide, and starvation of our people, and contribute to establishing stability and justice in the world."

WHO condemns destruction of Kidney Dialysis Center in Northern Gaza by Israeli Forces

Geneva – SABA: The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, on Tuesday condemned the Israeli military's destruction of the Noura Al-Kaabi Dialysis Center in northern Gaza. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Ghebreyesus stated: 'The Noura dialysis center in northern Gaza is now a pile of rubble.' He emphasized that the destruction of this health facility poses a direct threat to the lives of patients suffering from kidney failure. The center had previously provided dialysis services to 40 patients per week before it was leveled. He noted that the WHO had managed to relocate 20 out of the 23 dialysis machines from the center to a safe location prior to the attack. Ghebreyesus renewed his call for a ceasefire and urged immediate protection for all health facilities and medical personnel. In his post, he also shared a before-and-after image comparison—one showing the center as it stood last year, and another depicting it reduced to rubble. Medical sources warned that the destruction of the center puts the health of kidney failure patients in northern Gaza in extreme jeopardy. They reported that 41% of such patients have died amid the ongoing genocide, due to denial of access to dialysis centers and the destruction of facilities dedicated to their care. Hamas: Wietkov's proposal did not include an end to aggression on Gaza

Gaza – SABA: Senior Hamas official Bassem Naim stated on Tuesday evening that the movement had informed mediators of its readiness to enter a new round of negotiations, but not based on the latest version of the proposal by U.S. envoy Steve Wietkov, which, according to Naim, fails to guarantee a complete cessation of aggression on Gaza. In a press statement, Naim emphasized that Hamas cannot accept any agreement that does not ensure a halt to the war and aggression on the Gaza Strip. He further explained that Wietkov returned in the most recent round of talks with a proposal that significantly deviated from the previously agreed-upon version, adding that the new proposal included vague and ambiguous language that does not clearly guarantee an end to hostilities in Gaza. Naim pointed out that many countries around the world — including some of Israel's allies — are now convinced that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is the main obstacle preventing a deal from being reached. He stressed that Hamas and all Palestinian factions will not miss any opportunity to end the war and aggression against the Gaza Strip and to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people — but only if there are real and credible guarantees.
