After multiple months of trade speculation, Jalen Ramsey finally has a new home. The Pittsburgh Steelers have acquired the star cornerback from the Miami Dolphins in a trade, Ramsey announced in a social media post on Monday.
As part of the deal, the Steelers have agreed to adjust Ramsey's contract for the 2025 NFL season. Ramsey will get a $1.5 million raise, bringing his salary to $26.6 million for the upcoming season, NFL Media reported.
Ramsey, 30, has been one of the top cornerbacks in the NFL since the Jacksonville Jaguars selected him with the fifth overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. He's earned seven Pro Bowl nods and three first-team All-Pro honors through the first nine years of his career, helping the Los Angeles Rams win Super Bowl LVI in 2021.
This is a developing story and will be updated.

Former Alabama football star reportedly traded in blockbuster NFL deal
One of the greatest Alabama Crimson Tide defensive backs of the Nick Saban has now been traded for the second time in his NFL career. Yes, on Monday morning, the Pittsburgh Steelers made a blockbuster trade to acquire cornerback Jalen Ramsey, tight end Jonnu Smith, and a 2027 seventh round pick, and in return, sent former Alabama safety Minkah Fitzpatrick and a 2027 fifth round selection to the Miami Dolphins. The trade officially sends Fitzpatrick back to Miami where he will once again play for the Dolphins, the same team that selected him in the first round of the 2018 NFL draft out of Alabama. Fitzpatrick suited up for Miami during the 2018 season as a rookie, starting 11-of-16 games for the Dolphins where he had 80 tackles, two TFL, and two interceptions. The former Alabama safety also appeared in two games for the Dolphins to start the 2019 season before he was traded to the Steelers. Since entering the league back in 2018, Fitzpatrick has appeared in 106 games across seven season's across from 2018-24 where he has 608 career tackles, eight TFL, and 20 interceptions, four of which have been returned for touchdowns. Fitzpatrick is also a five-time Pro Bowl selection, as well as a three-time All-Pro. Aaron Judge Ties Babe Ruth With Latest Incredible Yankees Feat
Aaron Judge Ties Babe Ruth With Latest Incredible Yankees Feat originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Stop if you've heard this one before: New York Yankees superstar Aaron Judge made home run history again. Advertisement Judge homered twice in Sunday's 12-5 victory over the Athletics, giving him an even 30 dingers. It's the fourth time in his stellar career that Judge has reached 30 homers before the All-Star Break, and he's now just five blasts away from 350—and remember, Judge debuted in August 2016, and he only played 28 games in 2020 because of injuries and the pandemic. According to MLB analyst Sarah Langs, Judge tied Babe Ruth for the most seasons with at least 30 homers before his team's 85th game. The Yankees, at 48-35, have only played 83 games ... as anyone who knows basic math can tell you. Now, there's an important distinction we must note here. As Major League Baseball did not hold its first All-Star Game until 1933, Ruth only played two full seasons—1933 and 1934—with an All-Star Break; he retired midway through 1935. New York Yankees designated hitter Aaron JudgeVincent Carchietta-Imagn Images Judge hit 34 homers in last year's first half, 33 in 2022, and 30 during his 2017 Rookie of the Year campaign. Advertisement It gets better. Judge is also the only player since 2000 to record at least 30 home runs before the All-Star Break on three separate occasions. Barry Bonds (2001 and 2003) and Shohei Ohtani (2021 and 2023) accomplished it twice, with Bonds crushing 39 homers during the 2001 season's first half. As much as the media wants to push an MVP race between Judge and Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh, statistics and moments like this make it difficult to imagine the Yankees captain not winning his third MVP in four years. Ravens Pass on Odafe Oweh in 2021 Re-Draft
Ravens Pass on Odafe Oweh in 2021 Re-Draft originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Baltimore Ravens took Penn State pass rusher at No. 31 in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, and for the most part, have been disappointed ever since. Advertisement Before 2024, Oweh had a total of 13 starts to his name in the NFL across three seasons. Last season, he started 10 of 17 contests. But he's managed just 23 total sacks across four seasons and 62 total games. For a first-round pick, that won't cut it. In silly concept by Bleacher Report, the Ravens go a different direction in a re-draft of the team's worst draft pick over the past five seasons. Original Pick: Edge Odafe Oweh at No. 31 (2021) "We have to bend the rules for the Ravens a bit since Oweh is projected to be a starter this season. But Baltimore doesn't have a blatant first-round miss over the last five years, making it slim pickings," B/R wrote. "Linebacker Patrick Queen was the other player considered since he didn't sign a second contract with the club, but Queen was a Defensive Rookie of the Year candidate and a Pro Bowler in Baltimore. So, somewhat unfairly, Oweh is the default pick even though he isn't a 'bust.'" Advertisement New Pick: OL Landon Dickerson (originally 37th overall by the Philadelphia Eagles) "Dickerson has earned three Pro Bowl bids in four seasons and is currently the second-highest-paid guard in the NFL on a dollar-per-year basis, according to Over The Cap," B/R added. "Meanwhile, the Ravens have questions on the interior offensive line, making him a suitable replacement for Oweh in this exercise." It's a silly concept, but this time of year, there's not much more to contemplate until training camp. So we bit.
