The Pat McAfee Show is going live from Steelers training camp in Latrobe today
The Steelers arrived at Saint Vincent last week to kick off their 58th training camp in Latrobe with several new faces on the roster including Aaron Rodgers, D.K. Metcalf, Jalen Ramsey, Darius Slay, and others.
This afternoon, McAfee, who played high school football in western Pennsylvania, will be broadcasting his show live starting at Noon. A regular training camp ticket will be required to access the Saint Vincent grounds.
Gates to Saint Vincent will open at 11 a.m. Wednesday and the show will air from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and the Steelers will be practicing starting at 1:55 p.m.
"Come up and see us, come up and hang with us, we cannot wait to see the fine Yinzer people up there," McAfee said on his show earlier this week, calling Saint Vincent College a mecca of sorts for Steelers fans.
"To make the pilgrimage up there is basically what every Yinzer kid has ever done from western Pennsylvania," McAfee added.
A large stage was being finalized on Tuesday where the show will be airing from.
McAfee was one of the best college kickers and punters at West Virginia University before having a successful NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts.
Following his retirement as a player, the Plum native entered the media industry and his show has skyrocketed in recent years, becoming one of the most popular sports shows in the country.

Danny Smith reveals why Steelers have best special teams unit in NFL
The Pittsburgh Steelers have vastly improved in all three areas of football this offseason — and one coach believes they have the best special teams unit in the NFL. On Wednesday's episode of The Pat McAfee Show, live from training camp, Steelers special teams coordinator Danny Smith made his appearance memorable — and wasted little time hyping up his unit as the greatest in the league. "We were number one," Smith said, referring to his special teams unit. "And that's not me, man — that's the players that I coach. They come out with rankings and that… I got good players, man. This organization will supply you with people. You gotta know what you're doing. You gotta give them a direction. And these players will work their butt off if you know what you're doing." In 2024, the Steelers led the league in field goals made with 41, ranked second in field goal percentage at 93.2%, and tied for first in field goals blocked with two. Pittsburgh was also one of just six teams to return a punt for a touchdown — and special teams ace Miles Killebrew was named to his second consecutive Pro Bowl. From kickoffs to punts and field goals, Smith hit the nail right on the head — there is arguably no more complete special teams unit than the Steelers heading into 2025. But whether or not that's enough to end the almost nine-year playoff win drought remains to be seen.
