Model Abbey Clancy has joked about how she thought that her husband Peter Crouch was "having an affair" after he was "sneaking off" to try and keep a secret from her
Model Abbey Clancy has revealed that she suspected former footballer husband Peter Crouch was "having an affair" after he started "sneaking off" recently.

Despite being married to ex-England striker Peter since 2011 and sharing four children, Abbey confessed she feared her other half might have started being unfaithful due to his odd behaviour recently.

In a candid chat with cousin Ross and Peter on their Therapy Crouch podcast, Abbey shared her "whine of the week" as she shared her concerns about Peter's secretive activities.

She revealed: "So for two days, Pete was being all shifty. I thought he was having an affair at one point. I had to send Jack (their youngest child) with him because he kept sneaking off."
Abbey continued: "And he was like, I've just got to go and see this golf course. So we came back. And then he was like 'you're not going to believe this golf course'."

It turned out Peter had been going off to check out a new golf course he fancied joining, and in an attempt to win Abbey over, he mentioned it boasted an equestrian centre too.
But Abbey wasn't having any of it, quipping that he "must've thought that she was born yesterday" when he hinted there could be perks for her as well.
The mother-of-four also reminisced about a recent catch-up with pals where she brought up Peter's plans to join the new golf club.

However, she was taken aback when they all burst into laughter upon realising that the former Southampton forward had already signed up for the new golf club.
Peter joined Liverpool in July 2005 and met Abbey when he visited a bar where she was working in the city.

Their love story flourished and six years later, they exchanged vows at a ceremony held at Stapleford Park in Leicestershire.
Their first child, Sophia Ruby, arrived just months before their wedding, followed by Liberty Rose (born June 2015), Johnny (born January 2018) and Jack (born June 2019).
In recent times, the couple's professional paths have intertwined as they launched their own podcast, the Therapy Crouch, offering listeners a glimpse into the latest happenings in their busy lives.

Ed Sheeran brutally mocked by fans after giving HIMSELF a squad number at Ipswich after buying hometown club

When Ipswich Town released their squad list accompanied by numbers, many fans were left dumbstruck to see 'Sheeran 17' on the graphic, but there is a reason behind the madness. Supporters were left shocked when superstar singer Ed Sheeran, 34, who holds a minority stake at his boyhood club, was given a squad number by the club in their latest squad list. The word ' woke ' was thrown around by many fans in the replies to Ipswich's social media post confirming the news, which now has over six million views. However, this is not the first time Ipswich have pulled this stunt. In fact, in every season, bar their one in the Premier League, since Sheeran's involvement at Portman Road began in 2021, he has been given the number 17 shirt. When the idea was first relayed to Sheeran four years ago, he admitted that he 'thought they were joking', but the gag has become somewhat of a tradition. However, it seems many fans think it has gone on too long, or for those who were unaware of it before this season, once is already too much. Squad numbers locked in for 25/26. 🔢🔒 — Ipswich Town (@IpswichTown) August 5, 2025 One social media user simply couldn't grasp why Ipswich would make the joke, and wrote: 'Ed Sheeran? Utter woke garbage.' Another Tractor Boy did not see the funny side: 'Can you please stop this endless pandering to Ed Sheeran... Yes, he has sponsored us and is now a shareholder, but this is just getting pathetic now... Makes us a laughing stock!' And if you comb through the reactions to the post, the 'Utter woke nonsense' meme, which is accompanied by a picture of Sean Dyche, can frequently be seen. Not everybody blasted the stunt, though. One saw the funny side of the gag, replying: 'About time you gave that Sheeran a game.' The pop star also hit the headlines last season when he was awarded a limited 'Ed-ition' Panini Premier League sticker, which also caught a lot of traction on social media. Sheeran is a lifelong fan of the Tractor Boys and has been a front-of-shirt sponsor for the club for the last four years. Last year, Ipswich confirmed that the famous artist acquired a 1.4% stake in the club, which is a passive and minority investment only, meaning he will not join the club's board. Speaking on Instagram when the news broke, Sheeran said: 'Really excited to announce that I have bought a small percentage of my hometown football club. 'It's any football fan's dream to be an owner of the club they support, and I feel so grateful for this opportunity. 'I have lived in Suffolk since I was three years old and, while I travel the world and sometimes feel like an outsider in big cities, Suffolk and Ipswich have always made me feel part of the community and protected. 'It's such a joy to be a fan of Ipswich Town. There are ups and downs, but football is all about taking the highs and the lows. 'I'm not a voting shareholder or a board member, this is just me putting some money into the club I love and them returning the gesture, so please don't get onto me with signing suggestions or tactics lol.' In his one year as minority stakeholder, Sheeran has seen his beloved Tractor Boys relegated back down to the Championship, and their challenge to return to the promised land of the Premier League begins away at Birmingham on Friday night.

Lydia Bright candidly discusses her nan's worsening Dementia as she recalls heartbreaking moment she forgot who she was

Lydia Bright candidly discussed her nan's worsening Dementia as she recalled the first time she forgot who she was in a heartbreaking update. The TV personality, 34, told of how she 'crumbles' on the days that her nan doesn't remember who she is as she experiences her 'decline began to accelerate.' Sharing a post to Instagram on Thursday, Lydia uploaded a video of her nan with her daughter Loretta, five, walking hand-in-hand. However, sadly, she went on to revealed her nan 'doesn't know who Loretta is anymore and said the heartbreak she is dealing with has become 'overwhelming.' She wrote: I'll never forget the first time I went to see my nan and she didn't know who I was. It was devastating and my heart broke in a way I can't explain. This year has been incredibly hard for me and my family with my Nan's health. Nan's dementia has been slowly progressing over the past five years, but at the start of this year her decline began to accelerate.' Lydia Bright candidly discussed her nan's worsening Dementia as she recalled the first time she forgot who she was in a heartbreaking update (Lydia's nan with her daughter Loretta) Lydia continued: 'My nan has always been one of the most important people in my life. I spent so many of my childhood weekends at my grandparents house and my first home was on the same road as hers meaning we were neighbours for over a decade. 'She's always been my best friend and I'm so like her in my ways, obsessed with perfection, cleanliness and self care. The family always joke that I'm the favourite out of her 12 grandchildren, our bond is magical and she's had such a huge impact on my life. 'Earlier this year, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to move her into a care home. 'Even with family staying in her flat, carers visiting daily and everyone rallying around to spend time with her, it still wasn't enough. She now needs 24-hour care because even one hour alone was too risky. 'We knew it was the right thing to do, but the guilt was overwhelming. Some weeks are easier than others, she doesn't know who Loretta is anymore but most of the time she still remembers me and when she does, her whole face lights up and she cries. 'But I get such bad anxiety every week before visiting because on the days she doesn't know me I crumble. The tears take over, I have to leave before I upset her or make her feel confused and the sadness becomes so consuming. 'The hardest moments are when she asks why she can't think properly or what's happening to her and I can't bring myself to tell her how unwell she really is. 'I have cried a lot about Nan this year, I don't always know how to help that and I pray she isn't suffering too much. I'm sharing this because over the weekend it felt overwhelming.' Lydia concluded: 'I don't want to pretend that life is always perfect on here, behind my Instagram feed sometimes like many people I am quietly dealing with heartbreak. Life isn't always perfect.' Back in 2020, Lydia shared the emotional moment that she visited her grandmother with newborn daughter Loretta Rosa amid the coronavirus pandemic. In the social media clip, the former TOWIE star was seen holding baby Loretta on the other side of her nan's window while the new great-grandmother waves from inside her home as she self-isolates. The heartwarming video, which she shared on TikTok and Instagram, shows baby Loretta in a fluffy white coat while the song You Are My Sunshine plays in the background. Lydia explained in the caption that her family have been taking turns to visit their gran each day and hopes once the current COVID-19 crisis is tackled, people will give more support to the elderly. She began: 'Bringing my nan a ray of sunshine during self isolation. I have never been so grateful to live on the same road as my grandma. 'We're a close knit family and we make sure my nan always has at least one visitor daily, however during self quarantine she has been so teary with not seeing her family and being able to hug us all. Adding: 'It's made me think of all the elderly out there, even before quarantine, who don't see people on a weekly basis. Hopefully, through all this devastation, it has taught us that we must look after our elderly more. Family means everything.'
