Nicole Scherzinger, Jon M. Chu and Blackpink's Lisa (Lalisa Manobal) are just three luminaries named to Gold House's A100 List, the definitive honor for the 100 most impactful Asian Pacific leaders across industries, including entertainment and media, fashion, business, social impact, sports and more.
Chu, 45, is being honored for directing 2024's Wicked, the highest grossing musical adaptation globally. The blockbuster's follow-up, Wicked: For Good, opens on Nov. 21.
In addition to Chu, Wicked actors Bowen Yang and Michelle Yeoh are also on the A100 list. Yang was doubly recognized along with cast of The Wedding Banquet, a remake of the Ang Lee queer dramedy. (In another coincidence, Lee was named a 2025 Gold Legend for his contributions to cinema).
Scherzinger, 46, is receiving accolades for another Broadway production, Sunset Blvd. The former Pussycat Dolls singer told PEOPLE recently that her career parallels that of her character in the play, a fictional fading film star named Norma Desmond.
'I started at a very young age, and so I can really empathize with Norma; her childhood and her teens and her 20s were taken from her because she was too busy working and too busy being in the industry," Scherzinger said of their similarities.

Another pop star turned multi-hyphenate who made the list is Lisa (Lalisa Manobal). The Thai star, 28, is a member of the top K-pop girl group Blackpink and also starred as Mook in the third season of The White Lotus.
Lisa's Blackpink bandmate ROSÉ was also named to the A100, alongside her "APT." collaborator Bruno Mars. Other musicians being honored are Charli XCX, Laufey and Tyla.
Small screen honorees include Abdullah Saeed, Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh and Poorna Jagannathan from the comedy Deli Boys, and Lee Byung-Hun, Lee Jung-jae and Hwang Dong-hyuk from Netflix's Squid Game season 2.
The honorees will be celebrated at a slate of events throughout May, culminating with the Gold Gala in Los Angeles on May 10.

Michelle Yeoh teases new songs coming in 'Wicked: For Good'

Michelle Yeoh is giving "Wicked" fans a sneak peek at the highly anticipated sequel. In a recent interview with People, the Oscar-winning actress, who plays Madame Morrible, hinted at what audiences can expect in "Wicked: For Good," which will arrive on Nov. 21. "I think you're getting some new songs," Yeoh teased, before joking, "I didn't say that." Fans of the Broadway show's beloved soundtrack won't be disappointed as Stephen Schwartz, who wrote the music and lyrics for the stage production, has previously confirmed he composed two new songs specifically for the film. "I have permission to say there are two new songs in the movie because the storytelling demanded it. One of them happens to be for the character of Elphaba. The other one happens to be for the character of Glinda," Schwartz told the outlet in June. Yeoh also shared that she and her castmates have remained close long after filming wrapped. "I was just at Hollywood Bowl [for] Cynthia," she said, referencing Cynthia Erivo's performance in "Jesus Christ Superstar." "I love her. She was so amazing." In June, fans got a special first look at the film's trailer, which featured Erivo and Ariana Grande reprising their roles as Elphaba and Glinda. Directed once again by Jon M. Chu, "Wicked: For Good" picks up with the two characters estranged and follows their journey to repair their friendship in order to save Oz for good. The film also stars Jeff Goldblum as the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, Ethan Slater as Boq, Marissa Bode as Nessarose, and Yeoh as Madame Morrible. The first "Wicked" film earned 10 Oscar nominations at the 97th Academy Awards and won two, including best costume design and best production design. Erivo received a best actress nomination, while Grande was nominated for best supporting actress. "Wicked: For Good" hits theaters Nov. 21, 2025.

Lisa Wears Custom Fuzzy Pink Labubu Crop Top and Miniskirt at Deadline World Tour

THE RUNDOWN On Saturday night, Lisa appeared in a custom pink Labubu outfit during the Deadline World Tour stop in London. The look was created by Brett Alan Nelson and included a fuzzy miniskirt and crop top with padded shoulders and a corseted bustier, as well as tall furry pink boots. She was also wearing a pink Labubu pinned to her waist, this one customized by Marko Monroe. At one point, Lisa held a pink Labubu mask up to her face, which Nelson later modeled in an Instagram Story. Lisa is a longtime fan of the trendy dolls. In July, the star shared pictures of herself with a mini Louis Vuitton's rainbow 'Nano Speedy' purse decorated with two Labubus. She wore it with a shimmering dress from Diesel, per W Magazine. The dolls were originally created by Hong Kong artist Kasing Lung as part of their books series for children, The Monsters. Lung partnered with Pop Mart in 2019 to sell the dolls, but have recently soared in popularity. The Labubus are usually sold in 'blind boxes,' meaning you get a random color or style. Lisa has been a fan of Pop Mart products for some time. Late last year, Lisa told Vanity Fair, '[My close friends in Thailand] showed me a bunch of stuff and as soon as I got them, I went crazy. I spent all my money. I go to Pop Mart everywhere if I fly to New York, I go to Miami, I try to find Pop Mart there, Paris. Kinda like finding treasure.' Musical artist Dua Lipa was also seen with Labubu bag charms in late 2024, as well as Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, and David Beckham. But so far, only Lisa has become the Labubu.
