'TRADITIONAL ARTFORM IS GOING GLOBAL'
Geeta explains that there is quite an interest for the artform at venues abroad too. 'People outside of our country are so fascinated with this artform, especially when they learned that it comes from a small village in India. They felt an instant connection,' she says. 'They were most impressed to see how natural colours were used in unique traditional ways. They appreciated how deeply rooted Chittara is in nature, and admired its beauty and meaning.

'EACH PATTERN HAS ITS
MEANING'
Every design and pattern in Chittara has a meaning associated with it. From borders on the entrance of the house, to painting mud pots for cultural events, every painting has a different meaning, explains Geeta. 'Vessels used during festivals are hand-painted by artists. Again, each of the patterns here has a different meaning that adds cultural value to the entire customs and traditions followed."

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (Image Source: Getty) This weekend's Cup Series race is bound to be savage, and we were given a huge opportunity to relive some wrestling history on Friday afternoon as Ricky Stenhouse Jr. revealed a massive tribute to WWE legend Hulk Hogan . Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s car will carry a "Real American Beer" paint scheme and "HULKAMANIA Forever" decal on his Hyak Motorsports No. 47 Chevrolet. The design features the ripping off of his shirt, an image synonymous with Hogan's energy and personality. It is an emotional tribute in the wake of Hogan's passing just this week, for fans of both motorsport and wrestling alike. The partnership rekindles a brand‑racing connection Stenhouse Jr. has partnered with Hogan's Real American Beer brand before, so this isn't the first time. The livery featuring a patriotic theme first turned heads earlier this summer at Michigan International Speedway with a red, white, and blue scheme. But this new paint scheme features extra sentiment, paying homage to the legacy and personality of Hogan. View this post on Instagram A post shared by ColorsTV (@colorstv) Highly regarded for their creative tributes and thematic liveries, Hyak Motorsports teamed with the Real American Beer to design something that would appeal to fans but also pay proper homage to the wrestling icon. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like How to Ease Knee Pain Without Injections or Side Effects Learn More Undo This partnership celebrates Hogan's in-ring legacy and embodies the values of pride, grit, and what it truly means to be an American, characteristics that Stenhouse and Hogan both have come to embody in their respective arenas of competition. Based on the brand, Real American Beer sees this opportunity as one that serves as "a celebration of strength and nostalgia," which the brand says also makes a natural pairing with the high-octane excitement of NASCAR. What's at stake this weekend for Ricky Stenhouse Jr.? Stenhouse Jr. is approaching the 'Go Bowling at The Glen' race at Watkins Glen International this weekend with a distinct purpose. Now 18th in the NASCAR Cup Series standings, he is looking to finish strong as the season progresses. The focus is also on the pure performance side, but this weekend is not simply a points battle, but also a chance to unleash the energy of the Hulkster on track. This moment will be one to remember and will be honored by everyone sitting at home watching, and by those at the venue. It is a rarity for the wrestling and motorsports worlds to cross over in any fashion, which made it all the more poignant, and a tribute to Hogan's years of staying power and to fans and their eventual lines of demarcation between hero worship and friendship. Veteran actor Dalip Tahil , who has completed an impressive 45 years in the film industry, shared insights into how the landscape of cinema has transformed over the decades. Recalling the early days when single-screen theatres dominated and opportunities were limited, he noted the rise of OTT platforms, television, and multiplexes has now opened up a wider range of possibilities for actors and filmmakers alike. Reflecting on his career, Dalip told IANS, "When I started 45 years ago, there were only single-screen cinemas, and getting work was very difficult. Today, there are multiple platforms – OTT, TV, and multiplexes – so opportunities are more. But you must be clear about your reason for joining the industry. There's nothing wrong in wanting stardom, money, or a big house – but remember, before becoming a star, you must first become a good actor." When asked if there's a role he's most proud of over his decades-long career, the 'Baazigar' actor reflected on the many characters he's portrayed, each contributing in its own way to his growth as an actor. "I consider myself very fortunate to have worked in so many good films. Dalip shared, "My first superhit was 'My Dear Kuttichathan,' India's first 3D film in Malayalam. Then came 'Aaj Ki Aawaz,' 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak,' 'Baazigar,' 'Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke,' 'Kaho Naa... by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Become Fluent in Any Language Talkpal AI Undo Pyaar Hai,' 'Mission Mangal,' and more recently 'Special Ops 2' and 'The Family Man.' Each player will receive a hamper worth $17,000 that includes a wide range of fine, luxurious goods, from premium Italian wine to Rolex Air-King watch. The two poster boys also frittered their pockets, spending $280,000 on Louis Vuitton backpacks and $96,000 on designer pocket bags. You might call it a good flex to the 2025 rookies of what it feels like to win for the Chiefs, but no debate, it's still a good, productive flex. But hold on, that's not just it. Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes have more in store for the Chiefs' fraternity If the Chiefs can claim a fourth championship to their names, Kelce and Mahomes are reportedly setting up an all-expenses-paid team trip to Europe, with party locations such as Ibiza and Sardinia. The plan is yet to be finalized, but the sketch is done. " They know there's a strong possibility this could be Travis 's final season, that's why they are going big now," an insider told the Sun ahead of the week 1 clash against the Los Angeles Chargers. However, the best part is the star players aren't just draining their worth in lavish team activities; they are actively strengthening their financial roots, and that too, together, hand in hand. Travis and Patrick are launching their new joint venture, an all-in-one food destination, 1587 Prime Steakhouse, situated on the first floor of the Loews Hotel. Now, it's safe to say, they are not just setting the bar higher on the field for the newbies; they are rather redefining the term 'teammates' out and beyond.
