Three Colours: Red is the final film in the critically acclaimed Three Colours trilogy, which explores the core values of the French Revolution - Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity
The concluding chapter of a captivating trilogy, this film has left an indelible mark on audiences, exploring powerful themes of politics, social matters and human connections.

Three Colours: Red serves as the finale to the Three Colours trilogy, following Blue and White, with each examining the fundamental principles of the French Revolution - Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity. Released in 1994, this groundbreaking psychological mystery represents the work of a single creative vision, written, directed and produced by filmmaker Krzysztof Kieślowski.

Admirers of arthouse cinema have been thoroughly captivated by the feature, awarding it a perfect 100 per cent rating on review platform Rotten Tomatoes. The film's exploration of intimate bonds and the way people's destinies become intricately woven together has resonated deeply with audiences, who have penned glowing testimonials, reports the Express.

One viewer declared: "The greatest accomplishment in cinema of the 1990s. You must see all three films in the trilogy: White, Blue, then Red, and watch them in that order. They are amazing, the masterwork of a genius who died shortly after completing the trilogy."
The visual palette of each instalment reflects its titular hue, enhancing the artistic brilliance of this exceptional cinema, as numerous critics have observed. Another review proclaimed: "This is a gorgeously shot film. The story is very different and unique in its tone and characters, so well written and acted by some amazing performers. This is a must-see." Another commented: "It is a warning of what may come if we isolate ourselves from others and cut off communication."

Since its debut, Three Colours: Red has been hailed as the crowning achievement of the trilogy, earning its place among the finest French language films ever crafted. The film garnered industry-wide acclaim, securing three prestigious Academy Award nominations, including Best Director for the late Kielowski.
The narrative follows Valentine, a University of Geneva student who moonlights as a model and finds herself trapped in a controlling relationship with her boyfriend. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she accidentally injures a dog belonging to a retired judge, leading to an unlikely friendship despite their apparent differences. Red delves into themes of destiny, interconnectedness, and the intricate web of human relationships.
One review praised: "The cinematography and camera angles used were very intriguing, and the use of colour was interesting. The colour red was used to signify the important characters in the movie and to highlight important things. What a great movie and what a lovely actress. Very cute and charming."

Tragically, just two years later, he passed away unexpectedly, leaving Red as a testament to his remarkable cinematic legacy.

Blue's Anthony Costa reveals how band have dramatically changed their ways

EXCLUSIVE: Blue are set to celebrate 25 years in the business with a summer packed full of gigs and festivals - but life on the road isn't quite the late-night blur it used to be Boyband life may have once been all backstage antics and wild nights out, but Blue's Anthony Costa says the upcoming tour is looking a lot more grown up these days — and that's exactly how he likes it. With a whopping 25 years (yes, really!) in the business next year, the band are celebrating with a summer packed full of gigs, festivals, and a sold-out jaunt to Italy. ‌ 'It will be 25 years next year and that's crazy,' Anthony tells us. 'I mean things are really great. We're writing in the studio again. There's a lot of excitement things happening, but we're so lucky to be to be doing it after all these years on and off.' ‌ He adds: 'The whole of this summer, we've got festivals, gigs booked and we're going to Italy next week and we've put a couple of sold out shows there. We can't complain, you know.' ‌ And while the crowds are just as big and the bangers just as nostalgic, life on the road isn't quite the late-night blur it used to be. 'Things have changed… just a bit! When we were younger after every gig we went OUT! But we just can't do it anymore,' he laughs. 'We haven't done it for ages, but, you know, we're in our 40s and it's just like, I can't think of anything worse than waking up, even with a hangover, headache and no voice.' Now it's all about staying healthy — and responsible. 'We're in the gym all the time and keeping fit and trying to keep healthier and everything else. But yeah, a lot changed but it's changed for the better. And the thing is we've all got kids now. We've all got families and we just want to work and be grafting and pay our bills and pay our way in life.' ‌ And it's that family life that gives Anthony the most joy these days — especially when his daughters get to see their dad doing his thing on stage. 'It's my favourite. My girls love to come and watch but they love hanging out backstage best,' he beams. 'They came the other week to see us in Chelmsford… they loved it. They loved the backstage the most.' 'They like getting their passes and their access all areas passes… they can go to school the next day and tell their friends. My girls love the fact that, you know, their dad and his mates get up on stage and sing All Rise and One Love. They love the VIP experience." ‌ "You know, I never had that growing up, so to be able to say to my kids look this is where your dad works — as a dad all you want is to give your kids the best in life.' The singer is a proud father to two daughters, including Savannah, whom he shares with his fiancée Rosanna Jasmin. Over the years, Anthony's spoken candidly about how fatherhood changed his life, describing his girls as his greatest joy and motivation. While he occasionally gives fans glimpses into his family life on social media, he's always been protective of their privacy — opting to share sweet moments without putting them fully in the spotlight. ‌ Whether he would encourage them into showbiz? "Listen, it's up to them. It's up to them what they want to do I' support them," he says. "They want to become a doctor or a scientist or a lawyer or travel agent, or whatever they don't good luck to them, I'll always support them. If they want to go into to showbiz, where, I just said, theatre or music, I'll always support them, but I'll always say, look, you know, if it's not as easy as you think, so, yeah. 100%, yeah." "I feel really blessed right now to still be doing what I'm doing in mid 40s. Life is very good right now." Antony Costa is currently starring as Nikos in Mamma Mia! The Party at London's O2 until 4 September 2025. Book tickets at

Amazon Prime adds 'addictive' TV drama that viewers can't stop watching

If you're looking for your summer TV binge, then Amazon Prime has the perfect show for you. Yes, why not escape the bad weather by taking a trip to the bright lights of Beverly Hills, because all five seasons of 90210 are now available to stream on Prime Video. Based on the classic 90s series, Beverly Hills, 90210, this pulpy drama tracks the trials and tribulations of Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Dixon (Tristan Wilds) Wilson, who recently moved to the luxurious postcode with their parents. As the siblings head to their prestigious new school, West Beverly Hills High, the pair quickly befriend a group of uber-rich teens and shenanigans ensue. While it would be generous to call the show beloved – a quick glimpse at it 43% on Rotten Tomatoes proves that – the show maintained a dedicated fanbase. Indeed, its trashy plots and sensationalised stories meant 90210 was many a critic's guilty pleasure back in the day. Brian Tallerico of wrote as much in his review. 'Much to my surprise, I found 90210 to be a satisfactory guilty pleasure,' he claimed. 'A sun-soaked diversion that's a great alternative for when you want to zone out after a long day at work or school.' Alan Sepinwall was also enthusiastic about the show, writing in his Newark Star-Ledger review that it was 'remarkably faithful in tone and spirit to the original adventures of Brandon, Brenda, Scott Scanlon and company.' Of course, general audiences were much kinder to the show than critics. On a rather glowing Google review, Vanisha Arjune claimed the show was addictive. 'This show is so amazing,' she wrote. 'I am literally addicted, I can't stop watching. When I first started watching, I wasn't sure how it would go, but now I don't regret it.' More Trending Ace Lezotte felt similarly, awarding the series five stars and writing, 'love this one of my fave series binged it so many times.' Nimue Hoffmeester wrote perhaps the most glowing review, claiming '90210 is one of those shows – you know, the ones you can watch over and over and over again, without growing to dislike it.' 'I recommended the show to all my friends and it would constantly be playing in the background while I studied,' they continued. I hate to admit it – I am obsessed.' All five seasons of 90210 are now streaming on Prime Video. Got a story?
