BLACKPINK have made a triumphant return, and they're bigger than ever. Their newest digital single, 'JUMP', has made waves across the global music scene with an explosive debut on Spotify. The track has broken multiple records, raising the bar for both K-pop and female artistes. From the moment it dropped, 'JUMP' drew huge attention from fans around the world. In its first 24 hours, the song accumulated more than 9.3 million streams, the highest first-day total for any female artiste on Spotify in 2025. The title was earlier held by Sabrina Carpenter for her song 'Manchild'.advertisementOf that total, 7.028 million streams were officially counted, landing 'JUMP' at No. 2 on Spotify's Global Daily Chart, just behind Justin Bieber's 'DAISIES', which opened with 8.34 million streams. While it narrowly missed the top spot overall, BLACKPINK claimed the highest debut for any girl group or K-pop act this year, setting a new benchmark in the process.
Prior to BLACKPINK's comeback, AESPA held the 2025 record for the biggest debut by a K-pop girl group, with 2.39 million first-day streams for 'Dirty Work'. 'JUMP' didn't just surpass that milestone, it nearly quadrupled it.

The gap widens further when compared with other leading K-pop releases by female acts this year. TWICE's highly awaited track 'THIS IS FOR' earned 2.25 million streams on day one. Against such figures, BLACKPINK's performance underscores their extraordinary global influence. The success of 'JUMP' also had an impact beyond the K-pop genre. Sabrina Carpenter's Manchild, which previously led 2025's female Spotify debuts with 8.7 million streams taking the top spot among all female artists this year.In addition to the song's success, the release of JUMP also sent BLACKPINK soaring up Spotify's artist rankings. The group jumped an impressive 128 spots on the Global Daily Top Artists chart, climbing to No. 41 within just one day.- EndsMust Watch

BTS' RM and Jungkook admit Kim Taehyung has changed: ‘We can't keep up anymore, he's stronger'

BTS is united and the members are back to their chaotic selves, jumping on Weverse Live and goofing off on Instagram with fans. While Jin and J-Hope are busy taking over sold-out shows in Tokyo and Berlin with their solo concerts, the rest, V, Jungkook, Jimin, and RM, went live four times back-to-back. Suga, however, didn't make an appearance. And it was during this run of lives when, alongside fans, even Jungkook and RM admitted that Taehyung's time in the military has clearly changed him. They hailed him as one of the strongest in the group now, physically even ahead of the golden maknae. His time serving in the special unit paid off. Also read: India to soon have its own K-pop bands backed by BTS' agency: Will HYBE's big bet challenge Bollywood's reign? On Tuesday, V started a live stream and added Jungkook and RM. The three called themselves the 'workout crew,' but made it very clear that out of the trio, it's the Winter Bear crooner, once known as the most sensitive, who's taken things to the next level. 'Shocking news! Kim Taehyung is stronger than me,' RM said on the livestream, with Jungkook adding, 'He's stronger than me too.' They both admitted they can't keep up with him anymore. While RM and Jungkook said they've been mostly following the bodyweight training, Taehyung, who served in the Special Forces, leaned towards the full weight training. 'He's bigger than us. We can't even finish the sets he does now,' RM added. Taehyung laughed it off, but explained it was all about routine. 'I forced myself into the habit,' he said. The second oldest served in South Korea's military as part of the Special Duty Team (SDT), which excels in counter-terrorism. Every new recruit and trainee has to undergo very tough training, which also restricts them from engaging much with the outside world, one of the reasons why V largely stayed low-key, while the rest of the members made time-to-time appearances on social media. Also read: BTS' Jimin said he felt 'suffocated' listening to RM's track, knew something was wrong: 'I wonder what kind of jerks he's met' During the conversation, the Indigo hitmaker said, 'Taehyung was lifting weights in the Special Forces. He's way ahead,' and added, 'I go every day at 9:30 now, but what Taehyung is doing is insane. I'd lose to him in a fight.' To which the Celine ambassador said, 'You guys just started again. I've been consistent.' While V joked that both RM and Jungkook are making a fuss out of it and it's not true, fans are convinced, this new version of Taehyung is no joke. He's been through one of the toughest military units. He trained hard, rose to the rank of Sergeant, and even became an ace marksman. What's even more interesting is that the Singularity crooner earned the Special Warrior badge, an elite honour given to soldiers who are overachievers in all three areas: performance, strength, and discipline. As part of this recognition, Taehyung will now be listed in the unit's Hall of Fame for a year. On the work front, all BTS members have made it to the United States, where they're currently working on a song together. J-Hope and Jin, who are headlining their individual shows, are scheduled to join the others in Los Angeles. Earlier this month, the septet confirmed their comeback, addressing fans through a half-hour Weverse live. RM, the leader of the group, said they'll be rolling out their new album next spring, following which, chances of a world tour are on the horizon. The details of the same are currently under wraps.

Lewis Hamilton Shares Pic Of BTS' Jimin In Dior Outfit From His Collection; ARMY Is Obsessed

Last Updated: Lewis Hamilton shared BTS' Jimin in an outfit from his Dior collection, sparking massive fan frenzy online and calls for a crossover collab. Two of the world's most influential stars, Formula 1 legend Lewis Hamilton and BTS member Jimin, just collided in the most fashionable way, and the internet is obsessed. Hamilton recently took to his Instagram Stories to share a photo of Jimin wearing an outfit from his very own Dior menswear collection. The seven-time F1 world champion, who has been collaborating with Dior Men's artistic director Kim Jones, captioned the story with a simple handshake emoji and the phrase 'my Dior collection." That minimal acknowledgment was all it took for both ARMYs and motorsport fans to lose their minds. View this post on Instagram A post shared by JIMIN (@j.m) Social media instantly lit up with excitement. 'We need them to MEET," one fan posted, while another wrote, 'My two favorite people." One particularly dramatic (and relatable) comment summed it up: 'Broooo I am Shocket." Jimin, who is already a global ambassador for Dior, is no stranger to donning sleek, tailored pieces from the fashion house. But this time, fans were extra hyped knowing that the look came from Hamilton's personal line. 'OUR DIOR GLOBAL AMBASSADOR THEE PARK JIMIN—THANK YOU LEWIS HAMILTON for the acknowledgement," one fan gushed. The crossover moment is a testament to Hamilton's growing influence outside the world of motorsport. Known for blending streetwear with high fashion, the racing icon continues to cement his place in pop culture, and now, possibly in the K-pop universe too. As for Jimin, his status as a fashion and music icon only continues to rise. From global brand deals to jaw-dropping performances, he has become a trendsetter with an unmatched global reach. Fans are now manifesting a full Dior campaign featuring both Hamilton and Jimin. And judging by the buzz around this single post, that dream might not be too far off.
