The 28-year-old made some serious profits early on, snapping up a Buffalo coat for just £2 and selling it for £95.
She also scored platform brogues worth over £200 for just a few pounds.
She eventually decided to quit her part-time Sainsbury's job, where she was earning just £800 a month in May 2025, to focus full time on reselling.
Since then, she's doubled her income, now raking in more than £2,000 a month.

'It was a hobby that got out of hand,' the mum-of-two said.
'My love of thrifting definitely started from a young age.
'As soon as I hit teenage years and started selling my own stuff, my mum would buy me really expensive things.
'I would end up selling those things just to get a buzz.

'I loved feeling like I had my own little shop.'
One of Emily's best finds so far has been a pair of Gina shoes worth £695.

Emily, who also sells on Tilt and eBay, said: 'I could tell from the search history that the shoes were worth something.
'They were from 2018 but never worn.
'When I searched them on Google Lens, the only ones that were coming up, you could rent them.
'Whenever you can rent an item, it's an expensive brand.

'There was one available for £300 in Dubai.
'There was very little amount of info on there but I knew they would be worth something.
'I thought, 'Right, quick, let's get to the till!''
Since August last year, Emily's made over £11,000 on Vinted alone – all from items picked up at charity shops and car boot sales.

She said: 'When I started in August last year, I was doing it part-time while doing a night shift job and loved it.
'I started selling stuff on Vinted and was going to the charity shops every day.
'Working at Sainsbury's grocery picking wasn't ideal with the early hours and looking after the kids.'
Her top tips include using Google Lens to research items and not being afraid to go for brands you haven't heard of, as long as the item looks good quality – often these turn out to be hidden gems.

She added: 'If you're trying to resell, find stuff that works for you.
'It takes a long time to see what works.
'Just try out different brands.
'I did it and now I've turned my love of thrifting into a full-time job.'

She spent £25 on the Bulgari one - the bracelet made from stainless steel and 18 karat yellow gold. Advertisement "When I received the bracelet, I took it to the jewellers immediately in my area and yes, it's 100% authentic," Shannon explained in a video on her TikTok page. While it wasn't in the best condition when she bought it, she "gave it some TLC" and polished it up, and it sold for a whopping £500 within 24 hours. The Dior bracelet, which she got for £20 on Vinted, is currently still for sale. Following her own success on the site, Shannon is putting together an eBook of top tips so others can do the same. Advertisement But one of the biggest things she swears by is sticking to a three-minute rule. "I've been buying and selling for many years now so I've got lot of experience when it comes to getting designer bargains from Vinted," she told Fabulous Online. "But the best tip of all is to be quick as a lot of items sell within three minutes on Vinted. "So if you see something then buy it straight away and authenticate it later." I've made £5.6k on Vinted and here are the 7 items you need to upload now to make cash quick - white maxi skirts will sell instantly for a start She also said that another way she secures such impressive bargains is by using Google Lens, which she called her "best friend". Advertisement She's now hoping to get a similar profit margin with the Dior Rose des vents bracelet - made from "18 karat gold with a single round brilliant cut diamond in the centre". Upon receiving the bracelet from the Vinted seller, she "had it authenticated straight away" by LegitGrails, who provide "expert digital authentication for designer items with over 99.3% accuracy you can trust". "Sometimes I buy jewellery from @Vinted and when I do I get amazing pieces!" Shannon captioned her TikTok video. "The Bulgari bracelet was £25 and the Dior bracelet was £20! Both worth over £2K!" "That's insane!" one person commented on the clip. Advertisement Do you need to pay tax on items sold on Vinted? QUICK facts on tax from the team at Vinted... The only time that an item might be taxable is if it sells for more than £6,000 and there is profit (sells for more than you paid for it). Even then, you can use your capital gains tax-free allowance of £3,000 to offset it. Generally, only business sellers trading for profit (buying goods with the purpose of selling for more than they paid for them) might need to pay tax. Business sellers who trade for profit can use a tax-free allowance of £1,000, which has been in place since 2017. More information here: "No one does Vinted like you," another praised. "Really impressive," a third praised. "I got a £290 Frederic Malle perfume from Vinted last week for £107 inc p&p," someone else wrote. "I was worried about it being fake but it was authenticated by the manufacturer, what a STEAL." 6 The Dior bracelet set her back just £20 Credit: tiktok/@shannelrosa Advertisement

The secret way you can get £5 vouchers from H&M AND clean out your wardrobe – and you can do it six times a month too

And it doesn't necessarily have to be H&M clothing either SHOP 'TIL YOU DROP The secret way you can get £5 vouchers from H&M AND clean out your wardrobe – and you can do it six times a month too DO you have a mega pile of clothes you no longer wear? Chances are you've come across Vinted - one of the biggest apps where thrifty fashionistas sell their pre-loved garments. Advertisement 4 Can't seem to sell any of your items on Vinted? There's another easy way to get your hands on £5 vouchers thanks to the H&M Garment Collecting & Recycling scheme Credit: TIKTOK/@holgracewills 4 According to fellow cash-savvy fashionistas, H&M is not the only retailer offering its customers an incentive like this Credit: TIKTOK/@holgracewills 4 Clothing in better condition could end up being marketed as second-hand clothing Credit: TIKTOK/@holgracewills But while your items may be gorgeous, there's not always a guarantee you'll be able to sell them. Luckily, there's still an easy way to give your wardrobe a mega clearout - and get £5 vouchers in the process. This is thanks to H&M Garment Collecting & Recycling scheme. The way it works is straightforward too - simply hand in a full bag of unwanted clothes from any brand at the tills in the store and you can get a voucher giving you £5 off when you spend at least £25. Advertisement One person who recently took advantage of the incredible offer is Holly Grace, 25, who shared the process on TikTok. ''I had loads of unwanted clothes that I wanted to get rid of and couldn't sell at the boot fair,'' she said in the video. ''So I decided to bag up my clothes and take them to H&M where you can get a £5 voucher for every bag that you take in.'' What's more, she told fellow fashionistas on the platform, shoppers can do this up to a whopping six times every month - saving themselves a fortune. Advertisement The scheme is great if you've been eyeing up a more expensive garment, such as a stylish autumn coat, and want to slash the bill a little. H&M takes the textiles and recycles them into other products such as cleaning cloths. Fashion lovers rush to M&S to snap up perfect pumps that are 'so pretty' for summer - and they come in various colours to match your vibe Clothing in better condition could end up being marketed as second-hand clothing. When dropping off the unwanted goods, there's no need to limit yourself to just H&M garments - these can be by any brand. Advertisement ''I took Primark PJs, unbranded joggers,'' Holly said in the clip. ''You basically just have to download the app and present your carrier bags and then they'll do it for you at the till. ''They scan your little QR code on the Members side of the app- and then the vouchers will literally go straight on there.'' How to look chic on a budget Fashion stylist Gemma Rose Breger, and beauty journalist Samantha Silver revealed how you can make your outfits elevated without spending hundreds of pounds. Don't ever spend on designer denim: River Island ''always has such a great selection of fashion-forward jeans that follow the current trends''. The high street retailer offers a great range of sizes to fit UK 6 - UK 18, and three leg lengths - and prices start from an affordable £25. There are no rules for jewels: ''Pick up something at a car boot sale, or charity shop, scroll on Vinted & eBay, snap up something from the clothing section in your local supermarket when doing the food shop or check out high street clothing stores.'' Don't forget the pre-loved sites: With a rising number of second-hand sites, such as Vinted and Depop, there's no excuse for not buying - or selling - pre-loved garments. Gemma, for instance, has managed to get her hands on chic Chanel sunnies for a mere £17. This means that every time you spend £25 or more shopping at the retailer, you'll get £5 off - which you can use in-store and online. Advertisement However, it's worth noting that some customers have warned you can only use one voucher per purchase - and they also expire. Holly wrote in the caption: ''Yes, I also have bags full for the charity shop.'' The clip has taken the internet by storm, winning the H&M fan a whopping 12k views in just one day. One person claimed that there's a rival store that runs a similar scheme. Advertisement ''River Island does this also.'' Someone else chimed in: ''I'm not sure if still valid but if you make a new account you get £5 voucher too.''
