Peter Andre shares united family snap as Katie Price hits back with 'sinners' statement
The Mysterious Girl singer has posted an image of his family on social media after hitting out at Katie Price's claims that he is a "fake saint" during their public feud Peter Andre has broken his silence on social media with a telling family photo just days after his explosive fallout with ex-wife Katie Price. The Mysterious Girl singer, 52, posted the snap on Instagram after a turbulent week where Katie, 47, branded him a "fake saint" in a public swipe. The former couple, who share children Junior and Princess, have been locked in a fresh feud over their daughter's new reality TV series. Katie recently accused Peter and his management team of cutting her out of Princess' career and even claimed she was banned from her daughter's 18th birthday party. It comes after Princess Andre says she's 'independent' from parents as she breaks silence after Katie Price row. READ MORE: Katie Price's cryptic response to Peter Andre statement in full as she calls herself a 'sinner' But Peter responded fiercely with a lengthy Instagram statement in which he said he would no longer remain silent. He wrote: "For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today." He added: "The latest comments about my children's welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood. In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children." The singer went on to accuse Katie of repeating false claims that were already dismissed in earlier court cases, adding: "Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months." Katie later responded through her spokesperson, insisting she was "at peace" and had handed the matter to her lawyers. She also denied wanting a tit-for-tat exchange, saying she would "no longer be gaslit and bullied as she once was". In his first upload since the feud erupted, Peter has shared a family snap with his wife Emily and the three children they have together. He posted the photo of his family walking hand in hand along the beach with their backs to the camera on his Instagram story, captioning it "Cyprus". Peter and Katie first met on I'm A Celebrity in 2004 and quickly became one of the UK's most famous couples. They got married just one year later, but after four years together, their marriage broke down. Katie has repeatedly accused Peter and his management team of freezing her out of decisions about Princess' career. The 18-year-old has just launched her first reality series, in which she is seen spending time with her father, while her mother is barely featured. Katie has said she feels sidelined from big milestones in her daughter's life, claiming she was banned from Princess' 18th birthday party and excluded from filming. On her podcast Katie admitted she was "very, very upset" about the situation, alleging that Peter's team consider her "trash" and didn't want her involved in the show. She also voiced her disappointment at missing Princess' big day, saying: "Princess was like 'I'm having a party'. And I wasn't invited because it was for 'filming'."
