Where to celebrate NYC Pride 2025 at Moxy Hotels across the city
The headline event is 'Pride for the People,' a post-parade block party hosted by RuPaul's Drag Race alum, Xunami Muse. Taking place at Moxy Chelsea on June 29, the party includes DJ sets, live performances, on-site makeup from Stencil1 and a signature cocktail called Pride Punch. Tickets are $10, with all proceeds benefiting The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative (SIGBI).
That partnership with SIGBI goes beyond the party. All five NYC Moxy locations— Chelsea, Times Square, East Village, Lower East Side and Williamsburg —have officially been certified as Safe Spaces through the initiative.
"As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, I'm thrilled that at Moxy, Pride is more than a month—it's a mindset," Lauren Levin, chief marketing officer at Moxy Hotels / Lightstone, said in a statement. "We're the only hotel brand in NYC to partner with The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative, certifying each of our hotels as a designated safe space and training our staff to ensure every guest feels truly welcome."
Other standout Pride events include Burlesque Bingo at Moxy East Village on June 23, hosted by The Nuyorican Bombshell and her crew of high-glam performers, plus a free round of Drag Bingo with Sparkle Monster at Moxy Chelsea on June 9. There's also a Pride Salsa class on June 19 at Moxy Chelsea for anyone looking to learn new moves—or show off old ones—in a crowd that knows how to celebrate identity with rhythm.
Over in Brooklyn, Strut NYC takes over the rooftop at Moxy Williamsburg on June 26. The party promises sunset views, cocktails and a stacked lineup of performers including Julie J, Markus Kelle and Coach Chris. It's co-presented by Helium Mobile and Sun Cruiser, two brands leaning hard into the queer nightlife space this year.
For those who prefer their Pride a little quieter (but still Instagrammable), the lobby of Moxy Chelsea is getting its annual Pride makeover courtesy of Starbright Floral Design. The show-stopping installation, led by artist Nikki Abis, transforms the space into a high-color, high-drama tribute to self-expression and visibility.
Also worth noting, the "Moxy's Got Pride" hotel package includes two tickets to NYC's official Pride walking tour, two cans of Gay Water and a rainbow tie-dye bandana. A portion of proceeds go to SIGBI because even mini-fridges should be part of the movement.
The full schedule spans June, and most events are either free or low-cost. And while the hotel group is clearly not shy about aligning itself with Pride, the effort feels like more than a marketing play—especially when paired with community partnerships, staff training and events that give back. It's Pride with purpose, and yes, plenty of glitter.

Drag Race star drops huge clue they've signed up for BBC Strictly in cryptic post
A Drag Race star has dropped a huge hint that they've signed up for Strictly Come Dancing 2025 but it has caused divide amongst fans as they speculate whether it is actually true A Drag Race star has dropped a huge hint that they've signed up for Strictly Come Dancing 2025 - and they already have a huge connection to the show. Tayce Szura-Radix, better known mononymously as Tayce, found fame when she placed runner-up in the second series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK behind Lawrence Chaney. Following this, a string of modelling gigs followed and she started hosting various slots on BBC Radio 1. She also made an appearance on Celebrity Gogglebox, but in 2024, she emerged victorious as the winner of the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special. At the time, she was paired with professional dancer Kai Widdrington and has now sparked speculation that she has signed up for the full series. In a cryptic post on Instagram, she wrote: "Guess I was too much" and added a disco ball to her five-word statement. The performer immediately sparked speculation amongst her fans, although they remained divided on whether or not she had actually signed up. On Reddit, one fan said: "She's trying to throw off the scent" but another disagreed as he said: "Idk, it sounds to me like girlie was waiting for the call, but it didn't happen." It comes after Strictly Come Dancing's Gorka Marquez pulled out of show earlier this month. Strictly Come Dancing's policy on past contestants returning after first 2025 star named A third fan said: "I would be delighted to see the fab Tayce!" Others suspected that the post itself came from a place of not being selected for the full programme, as one fan pointed out on X: "Idk, I would interpret this as the opposite - she saw someone else from her Xmas special was cast and she wasn't picked, hence saying she 'guess[es] she was too much. I guess we'll see." Olympic sprinter and Gladiators star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey was the first contestant confirmed for the 2025 line-up earlier on Monday. Harry, known as Nitro on the rebooted Gladiators, previously competed in last year's Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special and described his decision to return as "so nice I just had to do it twice". This prompted another fan to say of the speculation that Tayce will be taking part: "It feels odd though that they'd have 2 from the same Christmas special on Dani Dyer, Alex Kingston and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink were then announced as the latest recruits for the upcoming series live on BBC One's The One Show on Monday. Speaking from the studio after her reveal, former Love Island winner Dani said: "It's such a fun magical show – to be asked to do it is such an honour. I just can't wait to be able to wear (the costumes) – it's going to be so much fun." Actress Alex, who took time out of her her holiday in Italy to speak to hosts Alex Scott and Roman Kemp, joked upon the announcement: "I was super excited but now I'm terrified." Tayce's post comes just as EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal, who stars as Suki Panesar-Unwin on the BBC One soap, was announced as the fifth contestant set to take part. Speaking to Good Morning Britain's Richard Arnold live from the set of Albert Square on Tuesday, she said: "I have danced before,I dabbled a little bit. I did Latin and ballroom as a hobby. And I think when you've got a passion for it, you'll naturally enjoy it. I don't know if I'll be any good but I'll enjoy it! I love the Latin, I think they're just exciting and passionate dancers, aren't they? It's the drama, isn't it? We all love the drama! In July, the BBC announced that two "incredible" new professional dancers, US-born Alexis Warr and Australian dancer Julian Caillon, would be joining the show, which starts this autumn Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman are back to present with Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas returning as judges. Strictly will return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer for its new series this September.

Celebrity SAS viewers slam lying recruit kicked out for 'cutting corners'
Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins viewers have slammed a recruit after he was told his 'integrity and honesty stinks'. Last month the Channel 4 reality show returned to screens – welcoming 14 new famous faces who are put through their paces to try and achieve SAS selection. This year's line-up has included S Club's Hannah Spearritt, X Factor's Lucy Spraggan, Love Island stars Tasha Ghouri, Chloe Burrows and Adam Collar, Drag Race's Bimini and The Traitors winner Harry Clark. Along the way several have voluntarily withdrawn, but on tonight's episode Harry left both the Directing Staff and viewers enraged after he was caught 'cutting corners' and lying. During a challenge the group were tasked with doing 20 burpees, however it was quickly noticed that Harry had only bothered to do half. So far on the show the former British Army engineer, who left the forces two months before filming on SAS began, had only passed one challenge. When being interrogated at the end of the episode the 24-year-old was called out for his shady actions by Chief Instructor Billy Billingham and Foxy (Jason Fox). The pair had been going through the day's events, when it was raised that Harry had failed in leading his team. They went on to say he was 'bluffing' things and had also lied about doing the burpees required of him. 'His integrity and honesty stinks to a point of it being unacceptable,' Billy declared. Harry was then hauled in to meet with the DS after they reviewed footage that proved he'd not completed the exercise task. He was then asked about being a team player and if he 'cut corners', claims he denied. The DS then made him watch the footage himself and count out the number of burpees he'd done in total. The reality star then claimed he'd stopped early because he was 'slow and letting his team down' – a response that enraged Foxy. 'Are you trying to pull the wool over my eyes? I asked you to do 20. You've just sat there as an ex-military man and spoken about honesty, integrity and how you do your best and don't cut corners. Do you think I'm an idiot,' he said. Slamming the table and making Harry flinch, Foxy told Harry to be honest, before he and Billy called in the guard. Harry was then made to stand in front of his fellow recruits and admit his deception, before he was ordered to hand in his armband and was kicked off the show. Soon after, many viewers weighed in on what had unfolded. 'That is a humiliating way for Harry to leave. Making him count when both he and they know he'd cheated was a masterstroke,' Charlotte posted on X. Adebayo 'The Beast' Akinfenwa- footballer Troy Deeney- footballer Conor Benn- boxer Louie Spence- reality star Tasha Ghouri- Love Island and Strictly Come Dancing star Harry Clark- The Traitors winner Hannah Spearritt Rebecca Loos- former glamour model Chloe Burrows- Love Island star Bimini- Drag Race star Michaella McCollum- author Lady Leshurr- rapper Lucy Spraggan – X Factor star Adam Collard- Love Island star 'So, Harry got his programmes mixed up…Traitors you lie to win…SAS not so much,' Katie quipped. 'Ironic, the very skill that won Harry the whole game on The Traitors was his entire downfall on SAS,' Kirsty shared. 'Harry is unbelievable – still trying to cover his tracks even after being found out! Thought Billy and Chris were going to explode!' Angela added. Others called it 'harsh but fair' to boot him. Seemingly not concerned about what he'd been caught doing, on Monday Harry posted a video of himself exercising on Instagram, writing: 'Practicing my burpees because apparently I can't do them.' Speaking ahead of the show premiering, Harry said he signed up to 'test' himself'. However, when asked to sum up his experience on the show, he explained: 'It was confusing because the course broke me physically and mentally. But that was actually the kick I needed and the experience I needed at that time. More Trending 'It was definitely a growing point for me. That's what I've matured from, what's taught me that not everything goes perfectly to plan. 'So yeah, I would say it's confusing because of the amount of emotions I felt. I felt every single emotion you can feel from a TV show, on that course!' After deceiving his way through The Traitors, Harry took home £95,150 in the 2024 season of the BBC game show.
