The Valley Michelle Saniei said Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Kathy Hilton gave her a short piece of advice about Sanei's ex-husband Jesse Lally, who Saniei feels has changed in the years since they started dating.
The Context
Last year, viewers saw the demise of Sanei and Lally's marriage as they navigated going through therapy and seeing if they could repair a broken relationship. This season, viewers have watched the couple navigate the falling out of their divorce from co-parenting to relationships with other people and financial troubles in their relationship.
What to Know
On The Valley After Show on Tuesday, Sanei said Hilton gave her advice about Lally when the two ran into each other at an event.
"Some people just don't know how to deal with success," Saniei said Hilton told her.
Saniei attributed the change in Lally over the years to "money" and "success." She added that Lally was a "homebody" who wasn't interested in going out and then when their daughter was born he was "always gone."
During Tuesday's episode, Saniei and Lally got into an argument at a group wine tasting, where Saniei criticized Lally for spreading a rumor that she was an escort. She said she had proof that people were sending Lally money and asked, "Why is a gay guy sending you money?"

On the after-show, Lally said it wasn't a "huge" amount of money and was from one of the 50 guests the couple had at their wedding.
"She's just trying to do something again, so everybody hates me," Lally said on The Valley After Show.
Saniei also accused Lally of spending all of the couple's money and called him "broke" in a confessional interview during Tuesday's episode.
Lally told Us Weekly that the couple, who worked together in real estate, "lived a really great life and continue to live that life." He added that the real estate market slowed down in 2023 and 2024 so they're "both really at fault" for the decline in their financial situation.
What People Are Saying
Saniei, on The Valley After Show when asked why she married Lally: "He was very different when I met him. He was nothing like today. He was very simple actually and lived in a small one-bedroom apartment ... and he would always have me over and cook for me ... he was very different, and I fell in love with him because we grew together."
Lally on The Valley After Show: "We used to do fun stuff ... I got to bring her to the Hamptons for the first time and got her to Europe for the first time ... and we were really intimate and sweet and very rarely fought."
What's Next
As The Valley continues its season, the feud between Lally and Saniei is expected to remain a central plotline. Saniei's boyfriend is likely to continue to be seen on the show, while Lally's girlfriend will remain off screen, as part of a mutual agreement between the couple.

Toddler Holds Tiny Kitten for First Time, Mom Not Ready for What She Says
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. For parents, capturing a child's "firsts" is a treasured memory. And one mom's impromptu video of her daughter meeting a kitten for the first time has become a viral sensation. Leah Fry, 29, was not ready for the adorable and loving words her toddler, Selah, would say in a moment that beautifully captured the child's deep and innocent affection. Since her Instagram reel of the moment was posted, it has received over 108,000 likes. The clip shows Fry's daughter Selah, a 1-year-old, holding a tiny black-and-white kitten with a look of pure wonder and delight. The young cat belongs to Selah's grandparents, Fry said, whom she calls "Papa and Ma Chickie." The family often visits to play with the kittens—and this particular day marked Selah's first time petting one. From left: Leah Fry's Instagram reel shows her daughter, Selah, meeting a kitten for the first time. @leah__darlene/Instagram A Nurturing Nature Fry, who said she is always trying to "capture sweet moments of Selah," had a feeling this moment would be special. "I just happened to pull my phone out to record because it would be her first time petting a kitten and I knew she would love it," Fry said. "I was right, because she was absolutely overwhelmed with delight and fell in love." As Selah held the tiny kitten, she was overcome with affection and began to speak to it in her own special way. "She kept saying, 'My baby … meow meow,' as if she was trying to communicate how much she loved it and how adorable she thought it was," Fry said. The video ended with a cute toddler request as Selah tried to get the kitten to meow—a detail that highlights the innocence of the moment. Selah's love for the kitten is part of a larger passion for animals. "Selah has been obsessed with animals since Day One," she said. "Anything with fur is her friend." In addition to the kittens, Selah loves the family's horses and her pony, which she "wants to sit on and brush everyday." "She loves them all, and takes taking care of her animals very seriously," Fry added. A Future Animal Lover The viral clip is a beautiful testament to a child's natural and unconditional love for furry friends. After the sweet moment was captured on camera, Selah "just wanted to sit and hold the kitten, pet her and look at her like she was her own little baby," Fry said. The video of Selah and her "baby meow meow" has resonated with thousands as a heartwarming glimpse into a child's world—and a testament to the fact that Selah is, without a doubt, a future animal lover.

Millennial Saves Y2K Clothes—Makes Discovery 20 Years Later: 'The Scream'
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Internet users have taken a journey to the past as a woman shared a newly released clothing collection and compared it to her own wardrobe from close to 20 years ago. Jenna Barclay, 38, a millennial online content creator, lives in Los Angeles and has been taking a trip down memory lane as clothing brand Hollister released its 'Y2K collection'. The limited-edition collection includes "Y2K-inspired" baggy low-rise denim jeans, strapless babydoll tops, denim skorts, fleece shorts and more, according to the Hollister website. Barclay told Newsweek: "The Hollister 'Y2K' collection looks like it should've been called the '2006' collection because I owned nearly all of these items when I was a freshman in college in 2006." When she wears them, "it's like looking in a weird fun house mirror. I feel like I'm looking at my former self—but a version of my former self that isn't quite right, because I'm obviously no longer 19." But Barclay said, "at this point, seeing clothes I wore as a teen just feels normal." She added: "Nearly every trend I loved as a kid and a teen has come back around—often with pieces looking almost identical to those I wore, just styled differently!" TikTok @jennaabarclay In a video to her TikTok account @jennaabarclay on August 8, Barclay describes "the scream" she let out when she saw the collection, and tries on several newly bought items. This includes what she describes as a navy "iconic super deep V to show off your lacy cami, super long arms for no reason, cable-knit sweater"—also showing off her original item from 2006, this one in a bright pink. Speaking of lace camis, Barclay bought plenty of those, too—which she recalled wearing with a Hollister button-down and demin skirt, "to drink cheap beer at a college party in 2006." Barclay said the clothes reminded her of buying a new Fergie CD, having drinks in the fridge for "pre-gaming later," adding friends on Myspace, and taking selfies with a digital camera. Barclay said she still has "a ton of my old clothes" from that era, with the rhinestone miniskirt being one of her favorites. "I remember wearing it on spring break in college with a babydoll tank top that was almost as long as the skirt," she said, "and plastic flip-flops, of course." TikTok users loved the blast from the past, awarding it more than 17,000 likes, as one commenter wrote: "I decided this collection is my midlife crisis. So I bought like $200 worth of clothes and I'm shocked they all fit and look cute." Another posted: "I didn't have Hollister money in high school, so it is taking EVERY ounce of self-control not to use my adult money to buy everything from this collection." "I'm still obsessed with this sweater," a third said—while one commenter added that they were "tripping on the fact you can still fit in the clothes you wore in 2006!" TikTok @jennaabarclay Barclay said that it is not just the Hollister collection, but "everywhere I look I see things I recognize from the past. "Pretty much all the fashion trends now remind me of the '90s or the 2000s," she added. "Teenagers are carrying digital cameras or even disposable ones. They're into 'low-tech' stuff because they've never known an offline world, so it's novel to them in a way we can never understand, having lived it." From fashion and makeup trends to pop culture and general cultural attitudes, Barclay said that "it's inevitable that trends will come back around." "At the end of the day, there are only so many different cuts of jeans, you know what I mean? They'll continue to go from super-skinny to super-baggy and back again over and over for as long as we live," Barclay added. "But it's super-strange the first time you realize you've lived long enough to see it come full circle." Do you have funny and adorable videos or pictures you want to share?
