Kristen and Luke Reveal a Major Twist in Their Living Situation: "Here We Go…" (EXCLUSIVE)

The Valley's Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick might not be leaving the Golden State after all. Despite making no secret of their desire to move away from California, with their first baby due in June, the engaged couple now intends to nest near Los Angeles for the foreseeable future. Luke revealed the change in his and Kristen's living situation plans after showing off fresh updates to their new rental home on The Valley Season 2, Episode 6. "Personally, I'd like to stay in this house until we buy our forever home. That's my goal," the podcast co-host said on The Valley After Show. "We're not 100 percent on the same page because there are days that Kristen hates the house we're in. But it's becoming our space. I'd like to be there until we're talking about school for our daughter." Lala Kent Makes a Surprising Admission About Kristen Doute Feud: "The Reason..." How Kristen & Luke Are Prepping Their Baby's Nursery Before Her Due Date (EXCLUSIVE) Kristen Doute Shares an Emotional Health Update Six Weeks Before Her Due Date: "I Don't Know..." As for where he envisions their "forever home" being located, Luke joked, "I hope a long ways from here," prompting castmate Danny Booko to suggest they, instead, consider relocating to — where else — but Santa Clarita, where he and Nia Sanchez Booko just closed on a new home. Luke replied that if he and Kristen were to purchase a house "any where in this area," it actually would be "up by" the Bookos. Separately, Kristen chimed in to confirm that Luke had "suddenly" been talking about relocating to the Santa Clarita area — again, if they buy a house in California. She also floated a theory as to why her fiancé had warmed to the idea of remaining in the L.A. area, despite him looking for homes in other faraway cities such as Nashville. Plus, one of Luke's "closest friends" there was also planning to buy a house in Santa Clarita. Kristen added, "I was like, here we go. Here we go." In The Valley's May 20 episode, Kristen shared that she and Luke were "so excited to be moving into this beautiful house," which came complete with a swimming pool and three bedrooms. Though she had planned to reserve one as a guest room for visiting family and friends, the James Mae T-shirt designer hoped, at the time, she'd get the opportunity to turn the third bedroom into a nursery — which they've since done, of course. "But Luke and I are only renting this house," she cautioned. "We're still unsure of where we even want to lay our roots permanently." As Luke put it in a confessional, though, "This house is the first step in my big plan for our future." When pressed about an engagement timeline, Luke divulged, "The only thing I know for sure is I plan this year, at some point this year." As the Season 2 trailer already gave away, Luke will be popping the question on The Valley in the not-so-distant future. While revealing to a producer when he knew she was "the one," he gushed, "Kristen is the love of my life, and this ring is gonna show that." The Valley Michelle Saniei said Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Kathy Hilton gave her a short piece of advice about Sanei's ex-husband Jesse Lally, who Saniei feels has changed in the years since they started dating. The Context Last year, viewers saw the demise of Sanei and Lally's marriage as they navigated going through therapy and seeing if they could repair a broken relationship. This season, viewers have watched the couple navigate the falling out of their divorce from co-parenting to relationships with other people and financial troubles in their relationship. What to Know On The Valley After Show on Tuesday, Sanei said Hilton gave her advice about Lally when the two ran into each other at an event. "Some people just don't know how to deal with success," Saniei said Hilton told her. Saniei attributed the change in Lally over the years to "money" and "success." She added that Lally was a "homebody" who wasn't interested in going out and then when their daughter was born he was "always gone." During Tuesday's episode, Saniei and Lally got into an argument at a group wine tasting, where Saniei criticized Lally for spreading a rumor that she was an escort. She said she had proof that people were sending Lally money and asked, "Why is a gay guy sending you money?" More Steve Granitz/FilmMagic On the after-show, Lally said it wasn't a "huge" amount of money and was from one of the 50 guests the couple had at their wedding. "She's just trying to do something again, so everybody hates me," Lally said on The Valley After Show. Saniei also accused Lally of spending all of the couple's money and called him "broke" in a confessional interview during Tuesday's episode. Lally told Us Weekly that the couple, who worked together in real estate, "lived a really great life and continue to live that life." He added that the real estate market slowed down in 2023 and 2024 so they're "both really at fault" for the decline in their financial situation. What People Are Saying Saniei, on The Valley After Show when asked why she married Lally: "He was very different when I met him. He was nothing like today. He was very simple actually and lived in a small one-bedroom apartment ... and he would always have me over and cook for me ... he was very different, and I fell in love with him because we grew together." Lally on The Valley After Show: "We used to do fun stuff ... I got to bring her to the Hamptons for the first time and got her to Europe for the first time ... and we were really intimate and sweet and very rarely fought." What's Next As The Valley continues its season, the feud between Lally and Saniei is expected to remain a central plotline. Saniei's boyfriend is likely to continue to be seen on the show, while Lally's girlfriend will remain off screen, as part of a mutual agreement between the couple.

Jax Taylor says eBay hustle helped him heal after violent fight with Brittany

Jax Taylor is addressing his personal and financial battles head-on in season 2 of The Valley, opening up about his decision to enter a mental health facility and defending his surprising eBay side hustle. In the April 22 episode of the Bravo reality series, Taylor revealed that a violent altercation with estranged wife Brittany Cartwright led to a turning point. Following advice from friend Tom Schwartz and his sister Jenny, the former Vanderpump Rules star agreed to check into a mental health clinic. 'It's just tough for me to ask for help,' Taylor admitted, adding that he wanted to get better for his 4-year-old son, Cruz. Jax entered treatment after admitting to substance abuse issues involving cocaine and alcohol. He completed a 30-day in-patient program and has been sober for 139 days, as shared on his In The Mind of a Man podcast. 'I'm not tempted at all,' he said of his new lifestyle. In a lighter moment from The Valley After Show, castmates Jason and Janet Caperna revealed Jax's commitment to his eBay resale business—even asking for help shipping a sale on the way to rehab. 'I don't really give a s--t what anybody thinks about that,' Jax said. 'It supplements our income and I love it. It's a hobby.' Taylor sells unused products, toys, and household items online, saying it helps cover everyday expenses like gas and school fees for Cruz. 'Why not?' he added. With therapy, sobriety, and a side hustle fueling his comeback, Jax Taylor's journey is one of resilience, redemption, and real-life reinvention.
