William Buick booked for Field Of Gold at Goodwood
With Keane currently serving a suspension after contravening the whip rules, connections needed to secure a new pilot for Field Of Gold's next appearance – and having revealed Buick was 'on the list' of potential riders two weeks ago, he has now been confirmed for the high-profile mount.

Barry Mahon, Juddmonte's European racing manager, told the PA news agency: 'I think John and Thady were to talk to William yesterday to confirm his availability and it sounds like they've done that and he's free to ride him, so I'd say that's the plan.
'In fairness, until you get to within a week of the event you don't know what other trainers and jockeys are doing, but obviously William has been able to commit now which is good.
'He's a top-class rider and rode a Group One winner for us last October on board Kalpana, so it's good to have him on board.'
Field Of Gold is set to head a quality Juddmonte team bound for the Sussex Downs, with fellow three-year-olds Cosmic Year and Jonquil also poised for action.
The Harry Charlton-trained Cosmic Year was second to Field Of Gold in the Irish 2,000 Guineas before failing to fire in the Prix Jean Prat at Deauville, while Andrew Balding's Greenham Stakes winner and French Guineas runner-up Jonquil will step back up in trip after finding the six furlongs of the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot too sharp.
Field Of Gold's Lockinge-winning stablemate Lead Artist meanwhile holds a Sussex Stakes entry, but appears unlikely to be on the Goodwood squad.
'I'd say Cosmic Year will run in the Thoroughbred Stakes, the Group Three over a mile, at the minute that's the plan,' Mahon added.
'Jonquil worked nicely this morning and he's a probable to run in the Lennox over seven (furlongs).
'Lead Artist is in the Sussex, but I'd say he's more likely to wait. He won't run against Field Of Gold I'd imagine, so I'm not sure what the plans are for him at this stage.'

Hampton kept out two penalties as the Lionesses defended their European crown, having made big stops from Esther Gonzalez and Claudia Pina in regular time. The Chelsea stopper justified Sarina Wiegman 's decision to make her England's number one keeper ahead of Mary Earps, even if some didn't agree with the call at the time. Those were big shoes to fill, but it was no problem at all for Hampton. Even longer ago, though, a medical condition might have stopped Hampton's football career before it even started. She had been diagnosed with strabismus, an eye condition which affects depth perception, but didn't let her stop that chasing her dream. "I was told from a young age that I couldn't play football, that it wouldn't be a profession I could pursue. But here I am,' Hampton told the BBC earlier this summer. Her road to the top hasn't been an easy one in more than one way, but the Euro 2025 run is testament to the 24-year-old's resilience. She saved two penalties in the shoot-out against Sweden in the quarter-final, including a sensational stop to turn Sofia Jakobsson's effort onto the post. And then, in the final, she kept out efforts from Mariona Caldentey and Aitana Bonmati before Chloe Kelly put away the winning spot-kick. For some, though, Hampton's best and most crucial moment came even earlier in the tournament. In a must-win group game against the Netherlands, her inch-perfect pass out to Alessia Russo helped start the move from which Lauren James opened the scoring in a 4-0 England win. Without that, the Lionesses might have found themselves going home long before Hampton produced those heroics in the knockout rounds. "Every player has their one story and journey and hers has been incredible,' England boss Wiegman said. 'Starting the tournament and losing the first game, there was so much riding on every game, we had five finals. 'She had to step up and I think she has been amazing. It's a little bit like a fairytale to stop those two penalties in the final." Hampton stressed the run to glory was a team effort, saying after the final: 'We never say die, we keep going and we did that today.' That team effort wouldn't have been possible without two things, though - Wiegman giving the young keeper her backing, and Hampton delivering. England's manager made a number of big decisions in the lead-up to the tournament and continued along that path in Switzerland. Her decision to call up teenage forward Michelle Agyemang paid off handsomely, with the youngster scoring crucial goals against Sweden and Italy, while there were some bold calls in defence throughout the tournament itself. England's manager had a lot to lose by backing Hampton over Euro 2022 winner Earps, but her bravery in making the call is part of why she's now celebrating yet another sensational triumph. Chloe Kelly had her name up in lights as she scored the winning penalty for the Lionesses but the England women's star has been called cocky by the Spanish media England hero Chloe Kelly has been labelled "cocky" by the Spanish media as her celebrations are criticised. The Arsenal winger smashed home the winning penalty to deliver Euros success for the Lionesses. It was the second time in succession they've claimed European glory but Kelly's antics have not gone down well with foreign media. They claim that her celebration in front of La Roja stopper Cata Coll was "unnecessary". They say that Kelly, who scored the winner in England's 2022 Euros final win over Germany, diverted her path after scoring from 12 yards and made a gesture in front of the keeper, as is claimed by Spanish outlet Dario AS. They wrote: "This is unnecessary, my friend: Kelly's cocky gesture to Cata Coll after scoring the decisive penalty. The England specialist changed her run during her penalty celebration to get past the goalkeeper she had just beaten." It comes after Kelly made a b-line for the England supporters in the corner, but that was described as "cocky" and uncalled-for. Kelly came off the bench for the Euros final and produced some historic contributions. Before scoring her penalty she assisted Alessia Russo's 57th-minute equaliser that cancelled out Mariona Caldentey's opener for Spain. Kelly had missed a penalty in the semi-final win over Italy, scoring the rebound, and was adamant history wouldn't repeat itself. She said: "I was adamant I wasn't missing two on the bounce. I was cool, I was composed. I knew I was going to hit the back of the net. I don't miss penalties twice." The 27-year-old feared her England hopes were disappearing as she struggled for form and minutes whilst at Manchester City. Kelly eventually signed for Arsenal on loan in January, and made her move permanent in July, which saw her get back to her best and land some career milestones. "If that's a story to tell someone maybe experiencing something the same - tough times don't last," she said. "Just around the corner was a Champions League final, won that, and now a Euros final, won that." Kelly hailed the influence of her manager, Sarina Wiegman, as she said: "She gave me hope when I probably didn't have any. She gave me an opportunity to represent my country again." Cameron Melly leads Brigade's charge to stun Newbuildings
Melly top-scored with 121 from only 51 balls, a knock that saw him clear the ropes 12 times as well as hitting eight fours as Brigade racked up 317 for six. He shared a whirlwind stand of 110 in eight overs with Mark Hanna (31) in an all-out assault on the shell-shocked home attack. There were runs throughout the order with David Barr scoring 67 (12 fours) in a second wicket partnership of 111 with Adam McDaid, who made 61. Newbuildings had chased over 300 to beat Donemana on Saturday, but there was no repeat of those heroics as they were bowled out for 190. JP Millar and Scott Macbeth each took three wickets, with the latter getting the big fish — Peat Salmon. Johnny Thompson hit four sixes in a defiant 55, but the result was never in doubt. Donemana regained the Premiership lead with an emphatic eight-wicket win in an all-Tyrone clash at Strabane . Irish international Andy McBrine took four wickets as the Red Caps were skittled out for just 72 in a game reduced to 34 overs. There were wickets, too, for returning skipper Gary McClintock (three for 11) and Sri Lankan professional Anuj Jotin (two for 18), while Raymond Curry's unbeaten 20 eased Donemana to victory in the 16th over. Eglinton remain rooted to the bottom after a four-wicket loss at in-form Bready. Andy Millar hit seven fours in an excellent half century, while younger brother Jamie made 36, and there were twenties for Ryan Lamrock, Jack Martin and Lakshan Gamage in a total of 215 for six. Bready captain Ian Young led the way in the chase with an undefeated 62 (eight fours, one six), while there was also a half century for South African professional Josh van Heerden as the hosts won with two overs to spare.
