Educational meeting to evaluate summer activities & programs in Ma'een District, Capital Secretariat

An expanded educational meeting was held on Saturday in Ma'een District, chaired by the Capital's Secretary, Dr. Hamoud Abbad, to evaluate the activities and programs of this year's summer courses in the district.
The meeting, attended by the Education Sector officials in the Secretariat, Abdulqadir Al-Mahdi and Osama Al-Wajih, as well as educational leaders, principals, and administrators of public and private schools, reviewed the performance level and mechanisms to enhance efforts in enabling male and female students to benefit from summer school programs and activities. The discussions also emphasized everyone's role in ensuring the success of the courses.
The Capital's Secretary praised the educational efforts in implementing and ensuring the success of the summer courses' programs and activities, aiming to achieve their noble goals of building an enlightened generation grounded in science, knowledge, the culture of the Holy Quran, and faith-based identity.
He stressed the need to unify efforts to support and ensure the success of the summer courses, which include distinguished programs and activities in educational, cultural, cognitive, skill-based, sports, and other fields.
For his part, Al-Mahdi highlighted the importance of the meeting in evaluating the performance of summer activities and programs and enhancing the educational sector's role in their success. He commended the efforts of school principals and administrators in encouraging students to enroll in the summer courses, contributing to their objectives and success.

At the opening ceremony, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology indicated that the exhibition, which brings together the most prominent technology, computing, and communications companies, reflects the interest of the Government of Change and Construction in providing the enablers of digital transformation as one of the most prominent requirements for economic development. He pointed out that the government is fully aware of the importance of the phase Yemen is going through in bringing about change whose results will be felt by all members of society and building a new era that keeps pace with technological developments and meets digital needs, despite the challenges and risks. Minister Al-Mahdi affirmed the ministry's support for initiatives that contribute to strengthening cooperation and partnerships between the public and private sectors, considering the exhibition an important platform for exchanging ideas and disseminating technologies, a platform for supporting innovation, and a key driver of economic growth. He pointed out that the Government of Change and Reconstruction, through the Ministry of Communications, seeks to provide the appropriate infrastructure and environment that encourages creativity and the development and localization of digital and technological solutions. At the opening ceremony, attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Service, Abdullah Haider, and the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Communications for Technical Affairs, Engineer Abdulrahman Abu Talib, the Vice President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Secretariat, Mohammed Salah, explained that technology has become the language of the economy and a key driver of growth and opportunity creation, as exemplified by the exhibition, which brings together public and private entities in the field of technology. He emphasized the Chamber of Commerce and Industry's commitment to forging partnerships with a select group of specialists and leading companies to showcase the latest technological solutions and services, and to enhance the exchange of expertise between the private sector, universities, and research centers. Salah pointed out the Chamber's support for emerging and small companies in the field of technology, adopting digital solutions, raising production efficiency, and encouraging local innovation. For his part, Yahya Al-Khatib, Director General of Payments at the Central Bank of Yemen, considered the exhibition an opportunity to benefit from modern technologies, especially in the fields of financial services, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and data analysis. He expressed hope that the accompanying seminars and workshops would produce recommendations that would serve the service sectors in the fields of communications, technology, and information technology. A statement issued by the Public Telecommunications Corporation described the exhibition as a stimulating environment for technological advancement and sustainable development, showcasing the latest technologies and devices in the world of communications and information technology, as well as smart solutions. It is worth noting that the exhibition will be accompanied by seminars and workshops in the fields of technology, digital transformation, and modern technologies, as well as 40 working papers by technicians, specialists, and academics as part of these specialized knowledge and scientific events. Sana'a - Saba: A meeting held on Tuesday in Sana'a, chaired by Director-General of Traffic Police, Major General Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, reviewed the field performance of the previous year (1446 AH) and outlined the action plan for the new year (1447 AH). The meeting, attended by Traffic Police leaders and officers, examined the challenges faced during the past year and proposed solutions and improvements to enhance services for citizens and boost traffic safety. Dr. Al-Barashi emphasized the importance of strengthening traffic performance through regulatory frameworks that translate into practical steps on the ground. He noted that the success of any plan begins in the field, not in offices, requiring unified efforts, heightened motivation, and teamwork to deliver tangible results. He stressed adherence to the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership, as well as the Ministry of Interior, to enhance oversight and traffic discipline. The Director-General stated that the new year's plan receives leadership support, as it includes key projects to improve Traffic Police operations and prioritize tasks. Workshop for first-grade teachers on proper Quran recitation in Capital Secretariat

Sana'a - Saba: A training workshop for first-grade teachers on teaching the proper recitation of the Holy Quran began on Monday at Saba School in the Capital Secretariat. The week-long workshop, organized by the Education Sector of the Ministry of Education, Scientific Research, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Educational Coordination and Summer Activities at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, was inaugurated by the Minister of Education, Hassan Al-Saadi. He emphasized the workshop's role in refining and improving methods for teaching the recitation and tilawah of the Holy Quran. Targeting 30 female teachers from first-grade classes across several schools in the Capital Secretariat, the minister highlighted the importance of trainees mastering simplified and effective teaching methods to ensure students develop proper pronunciation, recitation skills, and correct articulation of letters. Minister Al-Saadi reiterated the ministry's commitment to training and qualifying educators as part of its efforts to enhance the educational process, acknowledging the contributions of all those involved in organizing the workshop.
