Boca Juniors attempt to bring back Paredes
Boca Juniors, his former club and favourite team, is ready for a new attempt to bring him back to Argentina.
The motivation is linked to the Club World Cup, which will start on June 15 and will offer a showcase of the highest level to the participating teams. Precisely for this competition, an extraordinary market window has been granted, active since June 1, which will allow the clubs involved to reinforce their roses.
According to TyC Sports, among the most active clubs at this stage there will be Boca Juniors, determined to take the opportunity to try to bring Paredes home.
Already searched insistently in the winter market, the Roma midfielder had not then accepted the transfer, preferring to continue his adventure in the Giallorossi.
Today, however, the scenario has changed slightly.
Paredes recently extended his contract with Roma for another season, but – again according to the Argentine newspaper – within the agreement there would be a termination clause of 3.5 million euros, valid only for Boca Juniors.
An affordable figure, which could concretely rekindle the negotiation, especially if the player, as he repeatedly stated, really wants to return to the Bombonera one day.

Digitalia 21 Launches Proprietary Reputation Strategy to Help Companies Convert Visibility into Market Value
Roma, It , July 28, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Digitalia 21, a strategic communications studio, has launched a proprietary method to help companies turn visibility into market value by strengthening their reputation. The announcement comes amid mounting data that underscores the financial impact of corporate perception. Foto Gio Talente In 2024, the market sent a clear message: corporate reputation is no longer an accessory, but a strategic lever that accounts for up to 28% of market capitalization, according to the Reputation Dividend Report. In the United States alone, companies listed on the S&P 500 lost $182 billion due to the deterioration of their public image. In Italy, the stock exchange (Piazza Affari) saw a value loss of €27.9 billion. 'Anyone who thinks visibility alone is enough to sell is seriously mistaken,' says Gio Talente, founder of Digitalia 21 and recognized as one of Italy's leading experts in reputation, media positioning, and strategic communication. 'Today, the market doesn't reward those who speak the most, but those who are perceived as credible. And credibility can't be bought—it must be built.' In today's landscape—shaped by AI, trust crises, and economic instability—companies can no longer afford to appear without substance. Reputation is what separates the visible from the authoritative. According to Talente, it's the decisive factor that turns visibility into revenue, notoriety into investment, and words into opportunity. Digitalia 21 has developed a proprietary method that combines editorial strategy, personal branding, and institutional communication. The results? SMEs and professionals who tripled commercial inquiries after a targeted reputation campaign, or secured strategic funding following a single feature in national media. 'It's no longer the time for likes,' warns Talente. 'It's the time for decisions. And only those who are recognized as authoritative will sit at the tables that matter: those of investors, partners, and clients.' Today, reputation is a measurable economic asset. The data confirms it: 94% of analyzed companies increased shareholder value thanks to a strong reputation. Sectors like technology, healthcare, and basic materials attribute up to 52% of their market value to reputation. A standout case is Nvidia, where 58% of its market capitalization is based on brand trust, surpassing even its financial performance. Yet in Italy, a structured culture around reputation is still lacking. 'We have entrepreneurs who spend millions on advertising but not a single euro to position themselves as trustworthy. They talk to everyone, but no one truly listens,' Talente points out. With Italy's GDP growing only 0.3% in Q1 2025 and industrial production down 1.8%, trust has become the rarest currency in the market. In this fragile scenario, reputation is not just a competitive advantage—it's a gatekeeper for relevance. 'Either you invest in your reputation now, or you'll be excluded from the decisions that matter,' concludes Talente. 'The countdown has already begun. And without reputation, no strategy can survive.'Foto Gio Talente About Digitalia 21 Digitalia 21 is a studio of professionals in strategic communication. Newcastle move for Ramsdale after Trafford setback
Newcastle United are working on a deal to sign Southampton goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, according to Sky Sports. The Magpies are eager to strengthen their options in goal and have made a formal offer to Southampton. According to The Athletic, the proposal is for a loan move with an option to buy Ramsdale permanently. Talks between the two clubs remain ongoing, but no deal has been agreed upon at this stage. Newcastle seek new goalkeeper after Trafford blow Newcastle have been active in the market this summer as they search for a new first-choice goalkeeper. They had been chasing James Trafford, but that move now looks unlikely. The Burnley keeper is expected to rejoin Manchester City. Newcastle had hoped to secure Trafford earlier in the summer before the Club World Cup, but City were not open to a deal at the time. With that move now off the table, Ramsdale has emerged as a serious alternative. Southampton are open to various types of deals. These include a full transfer, a loan with a sizeable fee and future option, or keeping the player at the club. Ramsdale joined Southampton from Arsenal in a £25 million transfer last summer. He is under contract at the club until 2029. The 27-year-old made 32 appearances for Southampton last season in all competitions. He kept just three clean sheets as the club finished bottom of the Premier League. That campaign marked Ramsdale's third top-flight relegation. Despite this, he remains highly regarded and has senior England experience. Ramsdale previously played under Newcastle manager Eddie Howe during their time together at Bournemouth, from 2017 to 2020. Before joining Southampton, Ramsdale spent three years at Arsenal. He was the club's starting goalkeeper as they finished second in the 2022-23 Premier League season. However, he lost his spot to David Raya the following year and featured mostly in cup competitions. A possible reunion with Howe could offer him a new start at St James' Park.

Roma to Finalize Wesley Coup with an Assist from Milan
Wesley landed in Italy on Sunday morning to take the medicals ahead of his Roma switch. The Giallorossi had been focusing on him all summer long and eventually persuaded Flamengo. According to Sky, the capital club will shell out €25M plus €5M add-ons. They had struck a deal a while back, but the counterparty wanted to secure a quality replacement first. It's Emerson Royal, who had fallen out of favor at Milan. They pipped Besiktas at the post with a €9M bid. The Rossoneri had paid €15M to add him from Tottenham a year ago. He was the starter for half a season, then he sustained a serious calf injury and never re-entered the rotation. New Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini already wanted Wesley at Atalanta. The fullback has totaled 6 goals and 7 assists in 152 matches with Flamengo. He has two caps with Brazil. Unlike Richard Rios, who transferred to Benfica, he was determined to move only to the Giallorossi. La Lupa is also closing in on Verona's Daniele Ghilardi for about €10M plus bonuses. Their manager continues to ask to act hastily in the transfer market. Next on their agenda is an attacker who could play on the left side of their frontline. The most recent options are Igor Paixao and Fabio Silva, but the search is ongoing. Our Take on Roma and Wesley They had to pay a good chunk of change and be very patient, but it's always positive to land a primary target in an area of need. He's not much of a scorer or a big presence in the box like other wing-backs coached by Gasperini, but the tactician evidently believes in his potential and that he'll be a threat nonetheless.
