Nicole Kidman's Move to Europe May Not Include Keith Urban, Documents Say

Yahoo6 days ago
Earlier this week, the news outlet, SIC Notícias, reported that Nicole Kidman applied for residency in Portugal, two years after she and Keith Urban bought a home in Parque das Nações. And now, they're allegedly looking to snag an exclusive estate in the CostaTerra Golf & Ocean Club luxury development (next to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry). But fans noticed something else: Urban wasn't on the residency documents.
In documents obtained by The New York Post, Kidman lodged her application with the country's immigration agency, but Urban wasn't on it.

Now, before you start the breakup rumor train, stop. The same outlet revealed that Urban was unable to go to the mandatory in-person appointment because of his upcoming tour. However, he's reportedly expected to apply soon.
'Keith was unable to be in Portugal for this appointment as he is currently on tour in the US and it is mandatory for applicants to be physically present in order to apply for the visa,' the insider said to the outlet. 'He is scheduled to submit his application at a later date that works with his tour schedule. While Nicole and Keith own a home in Portugal, their primary residence will continue to be in Nashville.'
For those that don't know, Kidman and Urban met back in Jan 2005 during the G'Day USA gala. They didn't date til months later, and then they got engaged one year later. They married a month later in 2006, and welcomed two daughters together, named Sunday, born in July 2008, and Faith, born in Dec 2010.
(Kidman also has two children from her previous marriage to ex-husband Tom Cruise: Bella, born in Dec 1992, and Connor, born in Jan 1995.)Best of SheKnows

Hair gets lighter, cocktails get colder, and suddenly, we all pretend we live in linen. But this year, the heat's not just coming from the pavement — it's from the press. The New York Post just announced it's heading west with The California Post, and honestly? The timing couldn't be better. LA is getting its own dose of East Coast attitude, and if that doesn't pair perfectly with poolside sarcasm and SPF 50, I don't know what does. It's the ultimate bi-coastal crossover event: New York's hustle colliding with LA's hair-flipping nonchalance. Think of it as stilettos clacking through LAX: Aggressively punctual, but open to a juice cleanse. For anyone who's ever packed a carry-on with both black jeans and a crochet bikini, this moment is a vibe. Because deep down, we all want to be the kind of person who reads the news and knows which straw hat won't collapse in your beach tote. Advertisement The New York Post is officially expanding to the California Post, in early 2026, 'with a robust news operation that will bring our signature style, wit and attitude to the West Coast and further cement our position as a national news organization,' per Keith Poole, editor-in-chief. New York Post Honestly, it makes sense. LA has always been where style goes to get a tan, and The Post? Well, it spills the tea like no kettle ever could. So while media insiders are talking strategy, I'm over here wondering what this new coastal alliance means for my suitcase, my skincare, and yes, my shoes. Obviously, as a commerce reporter. Because if New York's bringing its headlines to the land of headlines, I'm showing up with looks that say 'ready for paparazzi' even if it's just your friend with an iPhone. Ahead, find my go-to summer essentials: the good, the great and the fashionable. As someone who peruses Amazon for my 9-to-5, this is the ultimate guide to summertime travel essentials. For over 200 years, the New York Post has been America's go-to source for bold news, engaging stories, in-depth reporting, and now, insightful shopping guidance. We're not just thorough reporters – we sift through mountains of information, test and compare products, and consult experts on any topics we aren't already schooled specialists in to deliver useful, realistic product recommendations based on our extensive and hands-on analysis. Here at The Post, we're known for being brutally honest – we clearly label partnership content, and whether we receive anything from affiliate links, so you always know where we stand. We routinely update content to reflect current research and expert advice, provide context (and wit) and ensure our links work. Please note that deals can expire, and all prices are subject to change.
