Cool temps keep some central Iowa pools closed over holiday weekend
That includes some Ankeny aquatic centers working to open on Tuesday. The Cascade Falls and Prairie Ridge aquatic centers are set to open up, but only if temperatures reach 68 degrees.

Cascade Falls plans to open from noon to 7:00 p.m., and general admission is $10. Prairie Ridge will be open from noon to 6:00 p.m. with general admission costing $6.
Cool temps also prevented the city of Ames from opening Furman Aquatic Center as planned. Instead, the center is expected to open on Wednesday.
Adventure Bay at Adventureland was affected by the chilly weather as well. It had been scheduled to be open over the holiday weekend, but it remained closed. Opening day is now set for Friday.

Storms return to central Indiana as weekend winds down
Over the last few hours, the radar has started to pick up in storm coverage across the state. Temperatures have been sitting in the lower 90's with a heat index in the mid-90s.
