Fans of Only Murders in the Building are eagerly awaiting news about Season 5, especially with speculation about a potential June 2025 release. The Hulu comedy-mystery series, starring Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, has captivated audiences with its witty storytelling and star-studded cast. But is Season 5 coming in June 2025? Here's everything we know about the upcomnig season. Is Only Murders in the Building Season 5 Releasing in June 2025?
As of now, there's no official confirmation that Only Murders in the Building Season 5 will premiere in June 2025. However, based on the show's historical release patterns and recent updates, we can make an educated guess. The series has typically followed a consistent annual release schedule, with three of its four seasons premiering in August.
Production for Season 5 began in March 2025 and wrapped in June 2025, aligning closely with the filming schedule of Season 4, which also ran from March to June and premiered in late August. Given this timeline, an August 2025 release is more likely than June 2025. Where to Watch Only Murders in the Building
All four previous seasons are available to stream on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ (under the Star hub) internationally. Season 5 will follow the same distribution, with episodes likely dropping weekly. What to Expect from Only Murders in the Building Season 5
Season 5 will pick up after the shocking Season 4 finale, where the Arconia's beloved doorman, Lester (Teddy Coluca), is found dead in the courtyard fountain. The trio—Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel (Selena Gomez)—will dive into investigating Lester's murder, which showrunner John Hoffman has teased will explore themes of 'classic-meets-modern' New York, focusing on the rich history of doormen and their union.
Additionally, a secondary storyline will involve Sofia Caccimelio (Téa Leoni), who appeared in the Season 4 finale, asking the trio to investigate her missing husband, Nicky 'The Neck' Caccimelio, a figure tied to the Caputo crime family. Hoffman has hinted that this disappearance may connect to Lester's death, promising a 'wildly funny world' for the trio to navigate.

Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek's network of contributors The new "King of the Hill" revival is set for an Aug. 5 release date on Hulu. While fans have been treated to a new opening and posters showcasing a much older-looking cast, along with returning characters — the series has dropped its first clip. More news: New 'King of the Hill' Revival Poster Gives First Look at Two Returning Characters Now this is what I call a good time. All episodes of #KingOfTheHill's new season drop Aug 4th on Hulu. — kingofthehill (@kingofthehill) June 18, 2025 The clip opens with Hank admiring a baseball that was thrown out by George W. Bush, as he is touring the George W. Bush Museum with Nancy Gribble, Dale Gribble, and Peggy Hill. In typical Hank fashion, he is impressed not only by the baseball but also by a pen that was apparently used to end offshore drilling by former President Bush. Though Hank has a typical nature about him, there is a moment where Peggy showcases a far darker turn. She mentions to Nancy that she will take her own life if they have to remain at the museum, with Nancy quipping that she is not allowed to leave her at the museum alone. More news: 'King of the Hill' Revival Reveals New Opening and a Much Older Bobby Hill It appears that Peggy does not share Hank's affinity for the former president, or she is quite simply bored with being at the museum. Either way, this is a stark comparison for the characters. This is also the first time the "King of the Hill" revival has confirmed that Nancy Gribble will not only be in the series, but that she could still be married to Dale. One of the biggest running gags in the series is how Nancy was having an affair with John Redcorn. Though she eventually ends the affair during the series' original run, anything can happen. Ashley Gardner was the voice of Nancy through the run of the entire series, and it has not yet been confirmed if she has returned to voice the character once again. "The King of the Hill" revival is set to stream exclusively on Hulu and features a much older cast of characters. In the new opening, it is revealed that Hank, Peggy, and Bobby have returned to Arlen, Texas. Why the Hills have returned is still a mystery, but what is known is that Bobby is now a renowned chef. The opening also revealed that Dale Gribble has run for Mayor of Arlen, though there is no confirmation if he actually won and is acting mayor. Teaser Trailer for Hulu Crime Series THE TWISTED TALE OF AMANDA KNOX Based on the True Story — GeekTyrant

Hulu has released the first teaser trailer for the crime series The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox , based on the true story that filled worldwide news outlets in 2007. The series was created and written by KJ Steinberg ( Gossip Girl , This Is Us ). Grace Van Patten stars in the series, and is joined in the cast by Sharon Horgan, John Hoogenakker, Francesco Acquaroli, Giuseppe De Domenico, and Roberta Mattei. The synopsis reads, 'A new series inspired by the story of how Amanda Knox was wrongfully convicted in Italy for the tragic murder of her roommate Meredith Kercher, and her 16-year odyssey to set herself free.' While this doesn't say a whole lot, many of us are pretty familiar with the case, and it looks like the series really dives in and tells the story that was nearly a decade in the making. Check out the teaser trailer below, and watch The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox on Hulu starting August 20th.

Director Dan Trachtenberg Confirms His Third PREDATOR Movie Will Continue Naru's Story — GeekTyrant

The future of the Predator franchise might just lie in its past… and its future. Dan Trachtenberg, the director behind Prey , isn't done with the Predator universe, and he's making it clear that Naru, played by Amber Midthunder, still has a story to tell. In a recent conversation with Fangoria, Trachtenberg said: 'I had a bunch of big ideas when I finished Prey, I would love to get to all of them. There's definitely a plan in mind, but the movie has to do well. So, we'll see.' While he's careful not to reveal too much, Trachtenberg confirmed that the third movie will continue Naru's story: 'The third story, which I can't speak to yet, is what would happen with Naru.' Naru already made an appearance In Predator: Killer of Killers , an animated anthology film now streaming on Hulu and Disney+, a reference to Naru is woven into the timeline-hopping story that spans Viking-era battles, 17th-century samurai duels, and WWII carnage. Trachtenberg previously revealed that both Killers and Badlands were fast-tracked because he couldn't wait to get to a third project, and it seems like that project will continue Naru's story. He said' 'After Prey came out, and I started thinking about sequel stuff, there were three ideas that I had. Killers is one, Badlands is two and the third one is something else. 'The reason why I felt possessed to make them and sort of why I rushed – I did two at once because I could do, I could multitask with animation – was because I was so eager to get to the third thing.' Trachenberg told Bloody Disgusting: 'The fun is that now we have the end of Prey set up something, and then there's this, and I love the slow play of it all. I think it's cool rather than smushing everything together inside one movie right away, we can really be elegant with our storytelling and hopefully aspire to that. So, it is not a setup for what's in Badlands, but it is a setup for what could happen afterward.' That 'afterward' is what has fans excited. While Killer of Killers plays the long game, Predator: Badlands is taking the franchise somewhere exciting and unexpected. Set in the far future, Badlands introduces Elle Fanning as Thia, a Weyland-Yutani android who teams up with Dek, a disgraced Yautja (voiced and mo-capped by Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi), in a story that could reshape Predator lore. So while Badlands takes us lightyears ahead, the seeds for a potential Prey 2 are quietly sprouting beneath the surface. Trachtenberg clearly has a long-term vision, and Naru's journey might not be over just yet. 'I had a bunch of big ideas… I would love to get to all of them.' Let's hope we get the chance to see where they lead.
