Blake Lively And Ryan Reynolds Share A Sweet Kiss At The TIME100 Celebration
Last Updated:
At the TIME100 Gala, before Blake Lively gave a powerful speech, Ryan Reynolds was seen giving her a motivational talk and even shared a sweet kiss.
Blake Lively is currently involved in a legal dispute with her It Ends With Us co-star and director, Justin Baldoni, over several issues. Despite this, Blake's impact in the entertainment industry was recognised when she was named in the Time 100 Most Influential People of 2025 list in the Titans category.
She was honoured with the award at the prestigious TIME100 Gala at the Lincoln Center in New York recently. At the event, before Blake went on stage to deliver a powerful speech, the Deadpool star was seen giving her a motivational talk. Ryan's support didn't stop there, as he was also captured sharing a sweet kiss with Blake before stepping away.
A witness at the event captured a video of Ryan talking to Blake just before she went on stage for her speech. Later, a lip-reading expert, Nicola Hickling, founder of LipReader.co.uk, told Daily Mail that Ryan said, 'I should be there, I need to shine right now. You need to understand what I am saying to you right now."
After their short talk, Blake Lively was seen asking for another kiss from Ryan Reynolds. The actor smiled, stood up and gave her a quick kiss. Right after that, Blake headed to the stage to deliver her speech.

During the TIME100 Gala, Blake Lively mentioned her ongoing legal battle and shared a very personal story, when her mother was assaulted by someone she knew at her job.
She said, 'It's an interesting thing to be called influential. It's most definitely an honour, but what does influence mean? By definition, it's the capacity to have an effect on the character, development, or behaviour of someone or something.
'That's not only an honour, it's a significant responsibility. How we use that, is what matters. Who and what we stand up for and what we stay silent about, what we monetise versus what we actually live matters. I have so much to say about the last two years of my life, but tonight is not the forum," she added.
'My mom never got justice from her work acquaintance who attempted to take her life when she was the mother of 3 young kids, years before I was born. Never underestimate a woman's ability to endure pain. Life's just a bowl of cherries. Thank you to every woman whose strength brought life to me and my four children, and thank you to every man—including my sweet husband—who are kind and good when no one is watching," Blake Lively Added.
In December 2024, Blake accused Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment and trying to damage her reputation. She also named his production company, Wayfarer Studios, in the case. Baldoni, on the other hand, denied all the claims and responded by filing a lawsuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds and their team.

Blake Lively Reacts To Dismissal of $400 Million Justin Baldoni Lawsuit, Says "Felt The Pain Of Manufactured Shame"
Washington DC: A judge on Monday dismissed Hollywood actor Justin Baldoni's USD 400 million defamation lawsuit against his It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds, the couple's publicist Leslie Sloane, and The New York Times. Blake Lively, who starred opposite Justin Baldoni in It Ends With Us which was also directed by him, broke her silence after the verdict in an emotional Instagram post. "Like so many others, I've felt the pain of a retaliatory lawsuit, including the manufactured shame that tries to break us," she wrote in a post on her Instagram Stories. "While the suit against me was defeated, so many don't have the resources to fight back," she added. The actor further said that she is "more resolved than ever" to "stand for every woman's right to have a voice in protecting themselves". She also shared a list of organisations dedicated to causes including women's rights, domestic violence and employment law. "With love and gratitude for the many who stood by me," she concluded the post. "Many of you I know. Many of you I don't. But I will never stop appreciating or advocating for you." In his lawsuit, Justin Baldoni alleged that Blake Lively "stole" the 2024 film from him and his production company Wayfarer Studios and threatened to "attack" him in the press if her demands were not met. However, according to documents obtained by E! News, Judge Lewis J Liman ruled that the Wayfarer Parties "have not adequately alleged that Lively's threats were wrongful extortion rather than legally permissible hard bargaining or renegotiation of working conditions". A report in Variety stated that Judge Lewis J Liman dismissed Justin Baldoni's entire lawsuit -- which also alleged extortion and other claims -- but allowed him to amend and refile a couple of allegations regarding interference with contracts. "Today's opinion is a total victory and a complete vindication for Blake Lively, along with those that Justin Baldoni and the Wayfarer Parties dragged into their retaliatory lawsuit, including Ryan Reynolds, Leslie Sloane and The New York Times," Blake Lively's lawyers said in a statement. "As we have said from day one, this '$400 million' lawsuit was a sham, and the Court saw right through it. We look forward to the next round, which is seeking attorneys' fees, treble damages and punitive damages against Baldoni, Sarowitz, Nathan, and the other Wayfarer Parties who perpetrated this abusive litigation." The lawsuit by Justin Baldoni was filed in response to a sexual harassment and retaliation case which Blake Lively had filed against him in late 2024. In her suit, Blake Lively has alleged that he and the producers of It Ends With Us launched a smear campaign against her after she complained about conditions on the set of the film. This high-profile case is set to go to trial on March 9, 2026.
